Search

Acquiring, storing, processing and analyzing experimental and simulated data are an integral part of all modern high-energy physics experiments. These tasks are of particular importance in the experiments of the NICA megaproject at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) due to the high interaction rate and particle multiplicity of ion collision events. Therefore the task of automating the considered processes for the NICA complex is a very urgent topic. This article describes the status of the development of new information systems as well as a set of convenient information services for collaboration members to automate storing and processing of data and information on the experiments. The Geometry Information System and Online Electronic Logbook, which are on the final stage of implementation, are presented. In addition, the design of the Condition Database and Event Metadata System, which are scheduled to be completed next year, are described in detail. The systems provide storing of information required for event processing and physics analysis and organize a transparent, unified access and data management throughout the life cycle of the scientific research in the NICA megaproject. One of the key aspects—the integration of the information systems with the experiment software systems—is also presented.

Visual representation of events during the running of an experiment is one of the existing problems to be solved in modern high-energy physics experiments on particle collisions. Different HEP experiments use different approaches to solve this problem. For example, the ALICE and CBM experiments use the ROOT EVE OpenGL based visualization library. The LHC experiments, ATLAS and CMS use other OpenGL based packages. When web browsers began to support GPU processing to render graphics, the task of creating an event display as a web application became relevant. Unlike other technologies for working with 3D graphics (such as OpenGL and Direct3D) Web Graphics Library is designed for use in web pages and does not require the installation of specialized extensions or libraries. This means that the same application will run successfully on a wide variety of devices or platforms. This article describes the technologies and methods that were used to create a web based event display for the MPD experiment.

The review covers the collective monograph “Communicative Aggressions of the 21st Century” dedicated to the study of destructive manifestations of communicative aggression in the media sphere connected with functional specifics of the contemporary information technologies and, in particular, of Internet. The review deals with the contents of the book and its structure, evaluates the understanding by the authors of communicative aggression, its features and destructive consequences. Special emphasis is laid upon the growing aggressiveness of the political discourse as the Internet becomes more widespread and commonly available. It was concluded that in order to find tools to reduce communicative aggression in the media sphere, the authors should consider and assess the developing censorship practices of Internet communications.

Introduction. The development of modern surgery requires the advancement of expertise about individual characteristics of large vessels development. The expansion of surgical treatment options of liver diseases determines the necessity of more detailed information about the anatomy of the portal, biliary and arterial systems, and about the anatomy of the hepatic veins in particular.The aim of research was to study characteristics of the left hepatic vein formation based on ultrasound examination findings.Materials and methods. The study included 39 outpatients, 11 males and 28 females, aged 17-84. Using ultrasound imaging methods, the authors determined linear dimensions, variations and angles of junction of the veins forming the left hepatic vein.Results. The main six variations of the left hepatic vein were determined as follows: variation I was observed in 9 cases (23.1%), variation II - in 7 cases (17.9%), variation III - in 11 cases (28.2%), variation IV - in 6 cases (15.4%), variation V - in 5 cases (12.8%), variation VI - in 1 case (2.6%). The angle of junction of the veins I and III at the site of their entry into the main trunk of the venous system was from 19-21 degrees to 80-85 degrees; the angle of junction of the vein II was from 21 degrees to 61.6 degrees. Deviation of veins in the plane perpendicular to the rest veins ranged from 32 degrees to 81.7 degrees. Additional veins entered at the angles from 22.5 degrees to 45 degrees. When observing, the vein diameter for veins I and II was from 1.3 mm to 4.8 mm, and for vein III - from 1.5 mm to 3.5 mm. There were additional veins determined with an average diameter equal 2.25 mm 0.25 mm. The size of the trunk of the left hepatic vein directly corresponded to a diameter of 2 mm to 7.7 mm.Conclusion. The presented variations are of major importance for modern diagnostic methods, they also expand the understanding of the anatomical variations in the left lobar vein formation, which should be taken into account by surgeons during liver operations.

The paper proposes an original algorithm for the formation of a training sample for a neural network that provides a sentiment analysis of text posts in social networks. A feature of the algorithm is the use of the extended Russian-language semantic thesaurus WordNetAffect and the expert dictionary of author’s symbols for expressing emotions. In addition, the paper describes the application of a neural network based on the LSTM architecture to determine the emotional coloring of text messages on a social network using two text vectorization algorithms “word2vec” and “BERT”. As a result of the experiments, an indicator of the accuracy of determining the emotional coloring of messages of 87% was achieved using lemmatization as a text preprocessing algorithm and the BERT algorithm when converting it into a vector.

A physical model is developed for math modeling of interphase interactions at the hot gas–water interface. The heat-and-mass transfer processes in two-phase flows appear at interfaces of phases. Profiles of the heat-and-mass transfer rates versus properties of phases and mode parameters are presented based on the Nusselt criterion equations. The hydrodynamic problem is solved numerically by integrating a set of equations of continuity, Navier–Stokes and energy equations using a control volume method (CVM). The conservation equations are supplemented with source terms: an equation of continuity—with a mass evaporation rate, an energy equation—with heat of interphase interactions. The computation results are compared with experimental data.

Aim. Clarify common variant of the relationship of the initial parts of the femoral artery and vein among outpatients Orel. Methods. In the observation, 138 patients were examined on an outpatient basis using a Samsung Medison R7 ultrasound scanner using a 7-12 MHz linear transducer when examining the arteries and veins of the lower limbs [4]. 81 women and 57 men, aged 21 to 91 years (mean age 57.3 ± 9.9 years) were examined. Results. As a result of the observation, 6 main types of mutual relations of the initial sections of the femoral vein were distinguished on the basis of a possible cover of the anterior wall of the vein of the femoral artery among the 138 outpatients. The results are grouped by type of vascular arrangement, patients' sex, and visualization of structures. The most common option was the close non-intersecting location of the vascular trunks, and the rarest - a partial cover of the surface of the femoral vein by 1/3 and 3/4 of the femoral artery trunk. Conclusion. Knowledge of the characteristics of the relationship of large arterial and venous highways at “key points” allows us to develop the most optimal techniques for minimally invasive surgical interventions, reducing the likelihood of complications.

The design, principle of operation, and results of tests of a Fourier-transform spectrometer, which is designed for studying the composition of the Martian atmosphere by the transmission technique, are described. A standard specimen of the instrument must operate on the landing platform after its delivery to Mars. The spectral range of the manufactured specimen is 0.5–4 μm, the spectral resolution is 0.04 cm–1, the aperture is 25 mm, and the mass is 1.1 kg.

This paper presents an approach to determining the psychological characteristics of a user of social networks by analyzing text messages on social networks. The approach is to classify the user's copyright texts using machine learning. Parsing the extracted text data suggests using the vectorizer - transformer - classifier sequence. The training dataset included the results of a Big Five analysis of user surveys and a set of copyright text data from social media pages. The effectiveness of the proposed approach was confirmed by the results of experiments with open data of more than 1000 users of the social network Facebook.

The paper describes the results of experiments comparing the use of different neural network architectures in sentiment analysis of text messages from social networks. Experiments were carried out using two text vectorization algorithms “word2vec” and “BERT”. The following types of neural networks were also used: LSTM, Bidirectional LSTM, CNN, MLP. The experiments were carried out on text data extracted from the VKontakte social network. As a result, an indicator of accuracy in determining the emotional color of posts was achieved at 87%.

The characteristics of development of vascular lines are important for development and improvement of of surgical treatment, decreasing risk of complications and development of personalized approach to treatment of patients. The purpose of the study is to reveal prevalence of different variants of development of common carotid artery bifurcation and to assess their significance for clinical medicine. The sample included 70 volunteers of average age 43.4 ± 10.7 years. The 3D reconstructions of MRI data 1.5 T Brivo 355 were evaluated. The observation data was grouped and processed using software Microsoft Excel 2007 and IBM SPSS Statistics 20. To summarize the data, 5 main variants of location of great vessels were identified. The most rare types of development and course of carotid arteries in bifurcation area were variants "II" and "III" (8.2% of all observations). The most common development options were "I" (51.4%) and "IV" (31.4%). The variants "I" and "IV" were determined relatively evenly.The variants "II" and "III" were found on the right in 60% and 66.7% correspondingly and "V" option was found on the left in 61.5%. The typical options of location of carotid arteries near the bifurcation (variants "I" and "IV"), 82.8% in total. The cases of ventral position of external carotid artery (variants "II" and "V") were established in 12.9%. The variant III was found in 4.3% of all cases. The distribution of vascular development options depending on the gender of patients was investigated. The study did not reveal significantly pronounced deviations in distribution of variants of vascular development, taking into account the age factor. The mentioned data permits to judge with confidence about necessity of developing personalized treatment of diseases of carotid arteries, considering their anatomical features of development in bifurcation area.

This article describes the proposed model of the domain ontology core domain using the products of the FSPC Mars as an example. The article presents an algorithm for automatically extending the core of the OWL ontology using the semantic analysis of the enterprise’s internal wiki resources. The statistical algorithms TF-IDF and C-VALUE are used to extract single-word and verbose terms from wiki pages. Relationships between objects embedded in wiki pages and resulting semantic relationships between terms located on the same wiki page are retrieved when extending the knowledge base. A feature of the proposed algorithm is the solution of the problem of terms ambiguity. This problem was solved by comparing the context sets of terms of homonyms wiki-pages. The software was developed to create an organization’s semantic network based on the ontology core to evaluate the effectiveness of the developed model and algorithm. An extended ontology is created automatically based on user parameters. The accuracy of the generated semantic network was 70%.

This article presents the results of a study of safety indicators, nutritional value and sales of bakery products obtained using progressive baking technologies. The purpose of the research is to determine the feasibility of production and sale of bakery products made using improved technologies, and to ensure the safety of products. The methods used in commodity science determined the quality indicators of bakery products, established the terms of implementation and indicators of food safety. Marketing studies of the use of malt preparations in dough science have shown a limited range of malts: fermented rye malt, roasted malt flour and malt extract. The market for bakery products of large retail chains and holdings, mini-bakeries and bakeries selling this group of food products is limited. Consumers aged 18 to 35 are in demand for the certain indicators of the quality of bread, characteristic of the types of used malt: soy, pea, triticale, rye, wheat, and barley. Bread and bakery products in the process of fermentation of dough and baking acquire non-traditional organoleptic characteristics inherent in legumes and cereals. Each developed type of bread and buns has found its consumer with specific, individual preferences.

The article describes the main approaches to the automated determination of authorship of texts based on the analysis of copyright styles. The architectures of a convolutional neural network, a multilayer perceptron, and LSTM neural network were proposed to solve this problem. Also, experiments were conducted in which the effectiveness of each of the proposed approaches was evaluated using the example of the task of determining the authorship of English-language poems.

The paper proposes an original algorithm for the training dataset formation for a neural network that provides sentiment analysis of social networks posts. This article also describes the use of a neural network to determine the sentiment values of a social network posts using the word2vec and BERT algorithms. Also conducted experiments confirming the effectiveness of the proposed approaches. Also experiments were carried out that compare the effectiveness of stemming and lemmatization of the text when forming a training set for sentiment analysis of the text.

The article deals with the relevance of using branding as a concept of company management. The role and significance of the brand in the concept of marketing management as a necessary strategic competitive advantage are shown, as the uniqueness of the image created in the process of branding in this or that area helps to form and maintain strong long-term relationships with the consumer, as well as to turn the brand into a means of satisfying the wishes of consumers, which brings the offering company high tangible and intangible assets. The article considers a successful brand as a resource that increases the market attractiveness and value of the offeror's assets, so there is a desire for effective activities aimed at developing and promoting brands. Branding features in trade, including the development of a trade network brand and own brands, have been studied. The factors forming the identity of the trade network brand and its own brand are considered. Interpretation of elements of a stable trade enterprise brand is offered: - brand name, - logo, - symbol, - special signs, - packing, - slogan performing the tasks of achieving memorability, adherence, adaptability, security. The advantages of developing brand strategies in retail have been defined: the strategy of generic branding, which implies compliance with the minimum requirements for the quality of goods and the price is lower than that of a similar brand of the manufacturer; the strategy of private brand trade promotion, which should ensure the quality of goods comparable to the quality of classical brands of manufacturers, and a strategy of premium branding, which provides a higher quality brand trade than the brand of the manufacturer. The features of brand management in trade organizations are considered. The paper studies and offers digital innovative tools to improve the effectiveness of branding: improvement of digital methods of collection, processing, aimed at creating systems of marketing analytics, specialized tools for analysis of marketing information; organization of interaction with brand consumers in the digital environment using social media, social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Professionals, Odnoklassniki, etc.).), digital platforms for interaction between consumers and suppliers (Booking, Momondo, Airbnb, Uber), various services (Yandex, Traps, Yandex, Money, etc.); automation of planning and implementation of brand operations using systems for automation of marketing activities, such as Integrated Marketing Management, Marketing Resource Management.

The article describes the fuzzy knowledge base developing process. The fuzzy knowledge base content represents a knowledge extracted from set of various documents by subject area. Set of documents contains of the wiki-resources, uml-diagrams, text documents and projects source code. A fuzzy knowledge base was implemented on the Neo4j database. An attempt to implement the mechanism of logical inference based on concepts, relationships and rules of a graph database was made. This mechanism is used for generate the screen forms of the user interface dynamically. The contexts allow to represents the content of the fuzzy knowledge base in space and time. Each unique context was assigned as a linguistic label, for example, low, middle, high. This label determines the competence of the expert in the subject area. Time contexts allows storing the history of knowledge base content changes. It allows holding and obtaining a specific state of the knowledge base contents.

The design and principle of operation of a mirror system that was designed for the automatic guidance of a spectrometer field of view with an aperture of 25 mm at the Sun and tracking the Sun with an accuracy of up to 1 mrad are described. The spectrometer will be installed on a landing platform on the surface of Mars. A prototype with a mass of 900 g was manufactured and tested.

The design and performance features of an IR Fourier-transform spectrometer for studying the Martial atmosphere in the spectrum range of 600–5500 cm–1 during the ExoMars-2016 mission are described. The obtained spectral resolution is in agreement with the theoretical value (0.2 cm–1); the threshold of the instrument sensitivity is approximately 0.1 mW/(m2 sr cm–1).

In planetary research, Fourier transform infrared spectrometers (FTIR) solve a number of important scientific goals related both to the atmosphere and to the surface sounding. For remote orbital measurements, these goals are the thermal sounding of the atmosphere using, in particular, the 15-µm CO2 band, sensitive detections of minor gaseous species and aerosol characterization. FTIR can address similar atmospheric science goals when observing from a planetary surface allowing for better-resolved boundary layer and achieving greater accuracy (longer integration) for minor species detection. For studies of planetary surfaces, characterization of mineralogical composition in a wide IR range including sensitive measurements of hydration of the soil on airless bodies can be done. We outline a family of FTIR instruments dedicated to studies of Mars and the Moon. TIRVIM is a channel of ACS on ExoMars TGO (in orbit around Mars since October 2016). It is a 2-inch interferometer for nadir and solar occultation measurements of Mars’ atmosphere. It covers a spectral range of 1.7–17 µm with spectral resolution up to 0.13 cm−1. LUMIS is a similar instrument for Luna-Resource Orbiter (Luna-26) Roscosmos mission dedicated to the search for hydration of the lunar regolith in the 6-µm band. The spectral range of LUMIS is broad (1.7–17 µm), but its sensitivity is optimized for the 4–8 µm region. The spectral resolution is 50 cm−1. We also describe recent developments focused on technical solutions for miniaturized FTIR instruments with a very high spectral resolution (0.05 cm−1 and higher). The prototype targets measurements of minor atmospheric species from the surface of Mars using the Sun tracking. One important task is to provide a high precision of interferometer’s mirror movement. Another task is the development of a precise two-coordinate mechanism to seek for and follow the Sun.

Cholera remains a topical infection in the world, which determines the high risk of importation of the pathogen on the territory of the Russian Federation. MLVA-typing of 135 strains at 5 tandem repeats loci was carried outin order to study the clonal-population structure of the isolated from 1973 to 2016 on the Transbaikal territory V. cholerae. Analysis of the distribution patterns showed that the primary emergence of strains with new atypical for the territory genotypes in 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, occurred in sewage waters with the subsequent detection of the given genotypes generally in Ingoda river and Kenon lake. The strains firstly isolated from Borzya river and Haranor lake and found out at various times in Ingoda river and Kenon lake, Chita, Argun rivers, Haranor lake and Borzya river have been dominating since 2005 in Transbaikal territory. Finding groups of isolates with identical or similar MLVA-profile appeared in cluster complexes evidence of their long-term preservation in specific ecological niches, strains’ allelic profiles undergo minor transformation on the most variable loci in the process of adaptation. Identification of V. cholerae El Tor that variable tandem repeat loci structure materially differs from those of the dominant clones may serve as proof of their invasive origin.

A new generation of experiments on relativistic nuclear physics is planned to be started in the nearest years at the Nuclotron-based Ion Collider facility (NICA) under construction at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna. The fixed target experiment BM@N (Baryonic Matter at Nuclotron) is considered as a first stage towards the implementation of the physics program available at NICA. For a successful accomplishment of the BM@N physics program, a well-developed and tested software package for simulation, digitization, reconstruction and analysis of collision events and other supporting tasks is of utmost importance. The data flow scheme of the experiment is shown. Offine and online software systems, such as the main BmnRoot framework, databases of the experiment, data monitoring and others providing information support for the experiment are presented. The implementation of the software systems is a necessary stage for the successful operation of the BM@N experiment.

This paper presents an ontological model of a text document of a large electronic archive. In addition, the article contains original algorithms for extracting syntagmatic patterns from text documents. The paper also describes the developed search algorithms in the knowledge base of the electronic archive using the mechanism of syntagmatic patterns. In conclusion, the results of the experiments on the developed question-answer (QA) system in comparison with existing information systems are presented.

In this paper the features of semantic and sentiment analysis of textual data of social networks are presented, and an original model and algorithm for sentiment analysis of textual fragments of social networks using fuzzy linguistic ontology are proposed. This approach involves the use of various subgraphs of fuzzy ontology when considering texts of various subject areas with regard to contexts. In addition, the algorithm involves the assessment of the sentiment scores of individual syntagmatic structures into which the analyzed text fragments are divided. It also presents the results of experiments comparing the efficiency of the developed algorithm with a group of existing approaches in analyzing text fragments on the example of data from the social network VKontakte.

The paper proposes a solution to the problem of determining hydrodynamic loads on the rocket and submarine using numerical simulation based on the control volume method in a three-dimensional non-stationary problem statement. We took into consideration contours, rocket and submarine velocity, medium two-phase state (gas liquid), viscosity and gravity. We calculated the start effects on the rocket and submarine for two cases: when the submarine is moving and stationary. The reliability and accuracy of the calculations were confirmed by comparing them with the results of the tests on a model in the hydro tank at JSC Academician V. P. Makeyev State Rocket Centre.

Magnetic resonance angiography was used to examine blood flow in great arteries of hypertensive ISIAH and normotensive Wistar rats. In hypertensive ISIAH rats, increased vascular resistance in the basin of the abdominal aorta and renal arteries as well as reduced fraction of total renal blood flow were found. In contrast, blood flow through both carotid arteries in ISIAH rats was enhanced, which in suggests more intensive blood supply to brain regulatory centers providing enhanced stress reactivity of these rats characterized by stress-dependent arterial hypertension.

The article presents the data on the development of the products with specified consumer properties based on the methods of descriptive analysis. The development of the specific products including the bakery products with intense taste and aroma properties and high nutritional value for people, who prefer natural products, becomes rather relevant. The aim of the research is to develop the products with the specified consumer properties based on wheat flour and malt additives and to carry out a comprehensive assessment of their quality. Tritikaly, Tagansky and Stepnoy kinds of bread (control), Taganskaya, Moskvoretskaya and Kuntsevskaya (control) buns made from high-quality wheat flour using grains and legumes in the formulations are taken for the research. During the process of the development of the bakery products technology and the comprehensive assessment of their quality organoleptic, physical and chemical, statistical methods of the research and the methods of sensor analysis are used. Such organoleptic parameters of the quality as attractive appearance, taste and aroma, nutritional value and safety are considered to be essential. As a result, using an innovative approach to the development of the products with the specified consumer properties using a generalized quality indicator, it is possible to make the products that are in demand by certain groups of the population. The economic performance of the bread and buns developed is extremely high. The bakery project with cereals and legumes is resistant to the market fluctuations and is competitive.

Currently, tractors and other complex machines repaired at advanced repair enterprises perform worse than new ones and have a shorter overhaul life. Let us consider what losses in the quality of the car are not replenished even with a well-organized repair in compliance with the existing technical conditions and whether they are really recoverable. If during the repair the car was assembled entirely from new good-quality parts and the required technical conditions were observed during the assembly, then no loss of serviceability of the machine during repair could take place. This means that it is difficult to eliminate the losses associated with the use during repair, firstly, partially worn out (with acceptable wear and tear) and, secondly, restored parts. The experience of using agricultural machinery shows that by using maintenance and repair tools that do not require large investments, it is possible to significantly reduce the downtime of the machine and tractor fleet. With the introduction of new, more progressive technological processes into technology, an increase in the speed and power of technology, as well as with the tasks of automatic regulation and control of machines, machine designs have radically changed. along with the mechanical ones, the machines include hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic devices. The imbalance in the correction planes of the crankshafts assembled with a flywheel and clutch supplied to spare parts is 1.2-6.5 times and 1.3-10.7 times, respectively, higher than the allowable one. after grinding the main and connecting rod journals for repair dimensions, the imbalance of these assembly units is also 1.5-7.2 and 1.7-12.3 times greater than the permissible unbalance of the crankshafts and to develop recommendations for improving the balancing accuracy during engine repair.

Organization of trade business according to the process management model involves standardization of business processes, application of marketing technologies. The efficient operation of trading enterprises depends on the use of marketing tools. Marketing of the retail trading enterprise allows to form an individual trading offer supported by a trading service. The conceptual development of trade creates conditions for the formation of new concepts, in particular the marketing of cooperation oriented towards the development of long-term cooperation.

The concepts of allostatic load and overload, i. e., a dramatic increase in the allostatic load that predisposes to disease, have been extensively described in the literature. Here, we show that rats engaging in active offensive response (AOR) behavioral strategies to chronic predator scent stress (PSS) display less anxiety behavior and lower plasma cortisol levels vs. rats engaging in passive defensive response (PDR) behavioral strategies to chronic PSS. In the same chronic PSS paradigm, AOR rats also have higher lactate and lower glutamate levels in amygdala but not in control-region hippocampus vs. PDR rats. The implications of these findings for regulation of allostatic and stress responses, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) are discussed.

The method of constructing fuzzy ontologies was investigated in the framework of this work. An ontological model for assessing the state of helicopter units has been developed. The article provides a formal description of fuzzy ontologies and features of the representation of elements of fuzzy axioms in FuzzyOWL notation. According to the proposed approach, the summarizing of the state of a complex technical system is carried out by means of an inference based on a fuzzy ontology. Objects, properties and axioms of fuzzy ontology determine the parameters of the membership functions and linguistic variables of the objects of analysis in the form of time series. A software product was developed to implement the proposed approach. As part of this work, experiments were conducted to search for anomalous situations and search for possible faulty helicopter units using the developed approach to the integration of fuzzy time series and fuzzy ontology. For the first time, the results of the inference of knowledge based on the integration of fuzzy time series and fuzzy ontologies in the tasks of analyzing the diagnosis of complex technical systems were obtained. The proposed approach of hybridization of fuzzy time series and fuzzy ontologies made it possible to reliably recognize anomalous situations with a certain degree of truth, and to find possible faulty aggregates corresponding to each anomalous situation.

The article presents a formal ontological model of the rule set and the inference algorithm based on the analysis of the state of a complex technical system (local area network). Also, this paper presents the results of the integration of rules with fuzzy ontology for assessing the state of a local computer network in the process of artificially increasing traffic. In addition, the possibility of modifying this algorithm by means of a parallel launch of the mechanism for analyzing cases in the process of knowledge inference is considered. In conclusion, experiments with the Fuzzy OWL applied ontology prototype and the Pellet inference engine are presented.

The paper presents a developed intelligent tool for Opinion Mining of social media. In addition, the article presents new algorithms to the hybridization of ontological analysis and methods of knowledge engineering with methods of nature language processing (NLP) for extracting the semantic and emotional component of semi-structured and unstructured text resources. These approaches will improve the efficiency of the analysis of social media content-specific data and fuzziness of natural language. Also the original algorithm for translating the RDF/OWL-ontology into a graphical knowledge base is proposed. In addition, the article presents an approach to the inference on the ontology repository. The approach based on translating the SWRL constructs into the elements of the Cypher language.
