Immediate mandibular reconstruction is always necessary for the patients receiving segmental mandibulectomy to recover the facial contour and function of occlusion. When 3D modeling is unavailable, temporary external fixator is necessary to maintain the occlusion relationship and facial contour. In this study, we introduce the clinical application of temporary external fixator for immediate mandibular reconstruction in patients receiving segmental mandibulectomy, which consists of 2 anchor claws, 2 all-round retentive arms, and 1 central locking structure. From August 2016 to September 2017, temporary external fixator was applied in 13 patients. Clinical data of gender, age, surgical procedure, duration of operation, and clinical outcomes were recorded and analyzed. Among the 13 patients, there were 4 men and nine women whose ages ranged from 21 to 64 (mean 47.7) years old. There were 9 benign and 4 malignant lesions. All lesions expended at the buccal side of mandible. 12 fibular flaps and 1 vascularized iliac bone graft were used. The mandibular defect ranged from 6 to 14 (mean 10) cm. The operation duration of surgery ranged from 5 to 10 (mean 7) hours. All flaps survived with primary healing. The occlusion and facial contour were good, without significant changes of the length of mandibular body and width of mandible before and after surgery. No functional sequelae were noted at the donor sites. From these results, the temporary external fixator is easy to operate; the surgical procedure is simple and time-saving for surgeon when 3D modeling is unavailable. The indication for temporary external fixator usage is the mandibular lesion growing outward to cheek soft tissue.

An interdigital electrode of 200-nm thickness, 160-μm spacing, and 160-μm width was fabricated on one side of a diamond fabricated by chemical vapor deposition. A gold contact of 200-nm thickness was deposited on the back side of the diamond. The back contact and one half of the interdigital electrode were connected by a switch. Higher responsivity and higher detectivity were observed when the back electrode contact was activated. The results of electrical field simulation showed that a stronger electrical field formed over the diamond region in the device with the back electrode than in that without the back electrode. This indicated that the detector performance improvement could be attributed to the higher carrier collection efficiency achieved with the back electrode, particularly under ultraviolet (UV) light at certain wavelengths, which have longer attenuation lengths in diamond. This structure could also be applied to UV detectors based on other wide-band-gap semiconductors.

$A$ The relevant comment texts of agricultural products sold on the e-commerce platform contain various and complex emotions of consumers, and reflect customers' consumer experience and views on those products. Compared with the features and advantages of English text segmentation structure, the analysis of Chinese sentiment polarity in a complex context has always been a problem in deep learning. This article explores the issue of sentiment polarity analysis of short texts of Chinese reviews of agricultural products by constructing Text-CNN, Bi-LSTM and BERT to fine-tune three deep learning models. The research object adopted is the review data of agricultural products on the e-commerce platform obtained based on crawler technology. The experimental results show that, compared with the Bi-LSTM and BERT fine-tuning models, the Text-CNN model's accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 value are all about 3 to 8 percentage points higher. The classification effect gradient gap between the three models is obvious. The accuracy of the Text-CNN convolutional neural network reached 99.92%. The results confirmed that Text-CNN has high sentiment analysis accuracy and good sentiment polarity classification effect in processing agricultural short text comment data, as an agricultural product e-commerce The emotional classification model of sales review data can provide an important reference for manufacturers to accurately distinguish user feedback and enhance market competitiveness.

With the increasing penetration of distributed power sources, the fault location of distribution networks after short-circuit faults becomes more complicated. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the fault location methods after the access of distributed power sources. This paper proposes a new fault location algorithm for distribution networks based on the abrupt current direction. The fault location is determined based on the abrupt direction of the short circuit current and the magnitude of the short circuit current. The matrix algorithm is used to locate the fault, and direction of the short circuit current of detection terminal in the network is taken as the research object. Based on the directivity of the distribution network, the continuity and directivity of the fault overcurrent are combined to determine the fault location.

Background: The multidrug-resistant(MDR) Acinetobacter baumannii and Pseudomonas aeruginosa have been listed as the top two critical pathogens to threat the public health by the World Health Organization (WHO) and regarded as a global priority for investment in new drugs. Carrimycin is a novel macrolide antibiotic used in therapy of community acquired respiratory infection. In this study, we want to further examine its antibacterial effect against the MDR A. baumannii and P. aeruginosa in vitro and in vivo. Methods: In vitro, we tested the minimal inhibitory concentration(MIC) of the strains of A. baumannii or P. aeruginosa isolated from clinic or ATCC. In vivo, using the wild-type(WT) Balb/c mice and T-cell-deficient Balb/c nude mice bacteremia model, we examined the count of A. baumannii and P. aeruginosa colony culture and histopathological damage in target organs tissue after carrimycin administration. Findings: Our results demonstrated that most strains of A. baumannii and P. aeruginosa were resistant to drugs and inhibited growth by carrimycin partly in vitro, but could be cleaned in infected Balb/c mice with the dose-dependent manner, but not in Balb/c nude mice. Inflammation relief in target organs also be observed in Balb/c mice but not in Balb/c nude mice. Interpretation: These findings indicated that carrimycin could not only clean pathogens directly, but also could improve the host's immunity to anti-inflammation and relieve damage against A. baumannii and P. aeruginosa infection. Funding: This work was funded by the National Emergency Response Program of China (Grant number 2020YFC0844900) and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant number 81872852). Alcohol is a recreational substance that is generally socially acceptable and legal in most areas worldwide. An alcohol overdose will produce an inhibitory effect on the brain and impair cognition and memory. In this study, we examined the effect of alcohol on the acquisition, consolidation, and reconsolidation of drug reward memory induced by morphine and cocaine in rats. Rats were trained to acquire morphine sulfate (10 mg/kg, s.c.) and cocaine (10 mg/kg, i.p.) conditioned place preference (CPP) via an unbiased CPP paradigm. Vehicle or alcohol (0.25, 0.75, 1.5 g/kg, i.p.) was administered at various time-points, including 30 min before each CPP conditioning session (acquisition), immediately after each CPP conditioning session (consolidation), immediately after the reactivation of CPP (reconsolidation with re-exposure), or without reactivation to the drug-paired context (reconsolidation without re-exposure). Conditioning scores were recorded before or after each conditioning session or memory reactivation. Alcohol at a dose of 1.5 g/kg but not 0.25 g/kg or 0.75 g/kg significantly inhibited the acquisition and reconsolidation of morphine- and cocaine-associated memory. In contrast, alcohol had no effect on the consolidation of morphine- or cocaine-induced CPP. The results suggested that pre-exposure alcohol dose-dependently attenuated morphine- or cocaine-induced place preference and prevented drug reinstatement in rats by disrupting memory reconsolidation, which may be explained by the inhibitory effect of alcohol on dopaminergic and glutamatergic neurotransmission.

The analysis of intake silencer insertion loss (IL) was conducted using a hybrid numerical method, which combined computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and acoustic finite element method (FEM). First, an experimental test was conducted to obtain the compressor intake noise spectrum under two different conditions: the turbocharger directly connected to the substitution duct and to the intake silencer, respectively. Then, the hybrid numerical method was introduced to predict the intake noise propagation. The compressor unsteady flow was calculated under the two different conditions, the pressure fluctuation on the impeller inlet plane was then extracted as noise source. The noise propagation under two different conditions were obtained. The comparison of numerical and experimental results indicates that the hybrid method used in this paper can predict the IL in different conditions as the IL under three different compressor working conditions was consistent with the experimental values. Furthermore, the noise spectral characteristics and acoustic directivity of compressor intake noise were also discussed.

In the distribution network equipped with fast fault transfer arc extinguishing device, after a single-phase grounding fault occurs, the fault phase bus is quickly grounded to realize arc extinguishing. At the same time, the traveling wave signal generated during the grounding process of the fault phase bus can realize fault location. The traveling wave signal is subjected to phase-mode transformation, and the time difference of the zero-mode component mutation detected twice at the exit of the fault line is to be recorded. This time difference is the time which it takes for the zero-mode component to go to and fro once between the bus and the fault point. And then the fault distance can be calculated based on it. The integration of arc extinguishing and fault location is realized. The AT P simulation software is used to realize the fault simulation of distribution network. And the accuracy and feasibility of the proposed fault location method are verified.

A new channel estimation method of neural network based on complex radial basis function (CRBF) is proposed to enhance the anti-interference ability of traditional pilot frequency estimation algorithm in power line communication (PLC). This method builds up a new channel model of complex field signals in PLC. The complete response model was established by using transmitting terminal’s pilot signal as input sample data, pilot signal’s frequency response as output sample data, and pre-setting mean square error (MSE) and diffusion constant. Computer simulations show that compared with the traditional algorithm the channel estimation was more accurate and had lower MSE and bit error rate (BER).

The chatter vibration is the major limiting factor for higher metal removal rates in milling process. This paper proposed an integral model of cutting force with helical cutter considering the sectional characteristics of cutting force. Based on the model, the variation law of the upper and lower limit angles of the cutting process under different radial cutting depths is analysed. The results show that the shape of cutting force for each tooth has a characteristic of three sections. Moreover, the process dynamic equation of thin-walled parts cutting is constructed based on the model. And, the stability lobe diagram is obtained by semi-discretization method. The time-domain simulations are carried out in different cutting parameters around the stable island to verify the correctness of the prediction method. The results show that the method has good ability to predict the cutting stability of cutters with helix angle.

To realize intelligent obstacle avoidance and local path decisions for maritime autonomous surface ships (MASS) in uncertain environments, a navigation behavioural decision-making model based on deep reinforcement learning (DRL) algorithm improved by artificial potential field (APF) is proposed. Based on the analysis of navigation decision system and perception principle, the action space, reward function, motion search strategy and action value function are designed respectively for the purpose of steering to collision avoidance. The navigation behavioural decision-making model for MASS is improved by adding the prior information, the gravitational potential field and the obstacle repulsion potential field to update the initial action state value function and search path. Python and Pygame modules are used to build a simulation chart. Effectiveness of the algorithm is verified, with Tianjin Xingang port as a study case. The simulation results show that the APF-DRL algorithm is better than the DRL algorithm in training iteration time and piloting decision path, which improves the self-learning ability of MASS, and can meet the requirements of MASS path decision and adaptive obstacle avoidance.

Traffic light detection and recognition is essential for autonomous driving in urban environments. A camera based algorithm for real-time robust traffic light detection and recognition was proposed, and especially designed for autonomous vehicles. Although the current reliable traffic light recognition algorithms operate well under way, most of them are mainly designed for detection at a fixed position and the effect on autonomous vehicles under real-world conditions is still limited. Some methods achieve high accuracy on autonomous vehicle, but they can't work normally without the aid of high-precision priori map. The authors presented a camera-based algorithm for the problem. The image processing flow can be divided into three steps, including pre-processing, detection and recognition. Firstly, red-green-blue (RGB) color space is converted to hue-saturation-value (HSV) as main content of pre-processing. In detection step, the transcendental color threshold method is used for initial filterings, meanwhile, the prior knowledge is performed to scan the scene in order to quickly establish candidate regions. For recognition, this article use histogram of oriented gradients (HOG) features and support vector machine (SVM) as well to recognize the state of traffic light. The proposed system on our autonomous vehicle was evaluated. With voting schemes, the proposed can provide a sufficient accuracy for autonomous vehicles in urban enviroment.

Biography is a direct and extensive way to know the representation of well known peoples, however, for common people, there is poor knowledge for them to be recognized. In recent years, information extraction (IE) technologies have been used to automatically generate biography for any people with online information. One of the key challenges is the entity linking (EL) which can link biography sentence to Corresponding entities. Currently the used general EL systems usually generate errors originated from entity name variation and ambiguity. Compared with general text, biography sentences possess unique yet rarely studied relational knowledge (RK) and temporal knowledge (TK), which could sufficiently distinguish entities. This article proposed a new statistical framework called the knowledge enhanced EL (KeEL) system for automated biography construction. It utilizes commonsense knowledge like PK and TK to enhance Entity Linking. The performance of KeEL on Wikipedia data was evaluated. It is shown that, compared with state-of-the-art method, KeEL significantly improves the precision and recall of Entity Linking.

The dynamic and exciting characteristics of a valve train system are predicted and investigated using a flexible dynamic model. In this model the elastic vibration mechanism of each flexible component is described in a floating reference frame. The mechanical impacts at the valve unseating and seating events are affected by the contact stiffness and damping of contact components. The contact force model for the cam–tappet interface was developed based on the elasto-hydrodynamic lubrication theory of finite line conjunction. The dynamic and exciting characteristics of the valve train system are influenced by its drive, natural properties and working conditions, so these factors are investigated in details. It is concluded that the dynamic responses at the low frequency range are mainly related to the cam function, namely the sectional characteristics of the cam profile; the valve train system can be easily induced to resonance between the second mode of transmission chain and the corresponding harmonic; as the rotating speed is increased, the variation of contact force can be described as: the peak values at the positive cam pseudo acceleration phase become bigger and the valley values at negative cam pseudo acceleration phase become smaller.

The dynamics of valve train is influenced by stiffness, size and mass distribution of its components and initial valve clearance and so on. All the factors should be taken into consideration correctly by dynamic model and described qualitatively and quantitatively through mathematical variables. This paper proposes a new simplified method for valve train components, namely mode matching method (MMM) for camshaft, pushrod, rocker arm, valve and valve spring. In this method the amount of lumped masses for each flexible component is determined based on its natural frequencies and the considered frequency range. As a result, the dynamic model of each component is required to match its low order modes within the considered frequency range. The basis of this method is that the contributions of each component to valve train vibration are mainly in the low order modes. The numerical model of valve train is verified by an experiment conducted on a motor driven valve train system.Copyright © 2014 by ASME

This paper gives a new method to measure the speed of strip based on linear CCD. For the surface of any strip, the image signal collected by linear CCD can be seen as image with strip feature by accumulating for a while, and the directivity of the strip relate to the speed of the strip. The power spectrum of the strip image can reflect the degree of thickness and the directivity of the strip. So the speed of the strip can be obtained though analyzing the power spectrum of the strip image.

It has been almost ten years since Evolutionary Cryptography is brought forward. It has yielded substantial results in cryptographic components and function design. However, Evolutionary cryptography still has many problems unsolved in the process of going to practical applications. This paper researches in detail, concludes the generalized model of evolutionary cryptography and analyzes the influence of every component in the model to synchronous communication. We design the model of synchronous communication of evolutionary cryptography. Experimental results indicate that this model can guarantee the correctness of evolutionary cryptography design, and at the same time the model can also reduce the burden of practical applications and fit the bill of security communication.
