Modelling and simulation of business processes is an area that in the recent years began to have greater importance and has been becoming more and more popular. The purpose of this article is to familiarise readers with knowledge on modelling of business processes in the Aurea BPM and ARIS tools in the process of an epidemiological inquiry. This article also aims to show how modelling and simulation of business processes support the company in developing integrated information processing system. The article presents the effects of the implementation of business processes, including changes that may occur in the organisation.

За последние годы появилась необходимость в изменении системы государственного финансового контроля Республики Таджикистан. Проведение процедуры аудита считается рационально возложить на государственные аудиторские учреждения, притом необходимо сделать акцент на особенностях проблематики конкретной страны при корректировке текущей системы. По мнению автора исследования, в разрезе изучения национальных проблем учеными и экспертами данная тема изучена не до конца. Однако наибольший вклад и полезный опыт по развитию национальных аудиторских институтов присутствует за рубежом, что возможно перенять для обновления системы финансового контроля Республики Таджикистан. Для создания качественной управленческой системы необходимо взять в качестве ориентира стандарты ISO 9000 и соответствующий современным условиям менеджмент. Однако здесь стоит также учесть необходимость составления пошагового алгоритма для достижения поставленных целей и задач. Также оптимальным вариантом является внедрение в деятельность такой системы, как Aris, которая позволяет объединять критерии структуры, вести аналитику, совершенствовать бизнес-процессы в учреждении и КСО РТ. Уникальность ее в том, что она представляет собой бизнес-процесс, который возможно разбить на цели и микрозадачи, позволяющие достичь желаемого. Система будет крайне актуальна в контрольно-счетных подразделениях, органах местного самоуправления или органах государственной власти. На данный момент система КСО РТ не применяется, уровень автоматизации в Республике Таджикистан достаточно низок, а также отмечено отсутствие единых стандартов регламентов по взаимодействию между учреждениями и иными субъектами., In recent years, the need for the Republic of Tajikistan’s financial control system change has appeared. It is considered rational to entrust the audit procedure to the state audit institutions. Moreover, it is necessary to make an emphasis on the peculiarities of the problems of a particular country when adjusting the current system. According to the author of the research, in the context of the national problems’ study by scientists and experts, this topic has not been fully explored. However, the greatest contribution and useful experience in the development of national audit institutions is present abroad, which can be adopted in order to update the financial control system of the Republic of Tajikistan. In order to create a quality management system, it is necessary to take as a reference point the ISO 9000 standards and the management corresponding to modern conditions. However, here we should also take into account the need for a step-by-step algorithm to achieve the goals and objectives. The best option is also to implement a system such as Aris, which allows the merging of structure criteria, analytics, improvement of business processes in the institutions and CSR of the Republic of Tajikistan. Its uniqueness is that it is a business process, which can be broken down into goals and micro-tasks to achieve the desired results. The system will be highly relevant in control and audit units, local or state governments. At the moment, the CSR system of Tajikistan is not applied, the level of automation in the Republic of Tajikistan is quite low, and there is a lack of unified standards for the interaction between institutions and other actors., Бизнес. In the Internet age, the information system implemented by a business affects various departments. If managers consider only some of the needs of a business in implementing an information system, overall corporate objectives will not be achieved. On the basis of a thorough literature review, the present study therefore proposes a five-step implementation model that includes key performance indicators (KPIs) developed from a strategic perspective of overall corporate objectives. Architecture of an integrated information system (ARIS) tool is integrated into most of the steps. The proposed model is validated by a case study of an implemented project. It is concluded that the proposed model can assist businesses to determine whether implemented projects meet the needs of business strategies. Businesses can also use the proposed model to customise unique business processes in designing and implementing information systems. Finally, the paper argues that ARIS should be regarded not only as an important tool for process analysis but also as a powerful tool for analysing the planning of projects in information-system implementation. This paper introduces the methodology for modeling business processes. Creation of the methodology is described in terms of the Design Science Method. Firstly, the gap in contemporary Business Process Modeling approaches is identified and general modeling principles which can fill the gap are discussed. The way which these principles have been implemented in the main features of created methodology is described. Most critical identified points of the business process modeling are process states, process hierarchy and the granularity of process description. The methodology has been evaluated by use in the real project. Using the examples from this project the main methodology features are explained together with the significant problems which have been met during the project. Concluding from these problems together with the results of the methodology evaluation the needed future development of the methodology is outlined.

Cilj ovog rada je proucavanjem teorije i dosadasnjih postignuca u podrucju analize i upravljanja poslovnim procesima napraviti reinzenjering poslovnog procesa prijava i upisa u srednje skole u Republici Hrvatskoj. U radu se iznose osnovne definicije i koncepti vezani uz poslovne procese, objasnjava se modeliranje i analiza poslovnih procesa te potreba za njihovom optimizacijom. Dan je pregled sustava za upravljanje poslovnim procesima i alata za analizu i modeliranje poslovnih procesa. U ARIS-u je napravljen model novog, uz pomoc informacijskih tehnologija temeljito izmijenjenog procesa i time je napravljena funkcionalna i procesna specifikacija za izradu programskog rjesenja koje ce se koristi za online prijave i upise u srednje skole. Novi proces potrebno je pratiti i mjeriti jer je to jedini nacin provjere uspjesnosti nastalog procesa. Ovo je proces koji se ponavlja svake godine i analiza uspjesnosti ce se vrsiti nakon zavrsetka procesa kako bi se proces po potrebi redizajnirao i na taj nacin optimizirao odnosno unaprijedio. The aim of this thesis is to study the theory and previous accomplishments in a domain of business process management and to re-engineer process of application and enrollment in secondary schools in Croatia. This thesis presents the basic definitions and concepts related to business processes, explains the modeling and analysis of business processes and the need for business process optimization. It also gives an overview of business processes management suites and business processes analysis (modeling) tools. ARIS is BPA tool used to model the process that is now fundamentally changed with the help of information technologies. The resulting model serves as the functional and process specification for software solution that will be used for online registration and enrollment in secondary schools. The new process should be monitored and measured because it is the only way to verify the success of generated process. This process will be repeated each school year, process analysis will be made after its completion, and if necessary, the process will be redesigned in order to optimize and improve.

The design and implementation of a PLM solution in a cross-company environment is a complex and labour intensive operation, which is often coupled with a Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) project to better deploy technologies as well as methodologies and to target the system implementation on the real company needs. Enterprise Modelling (EM) languages are typically used to collect and share process knowledge among the BPR participants. Plenty of techniques are actually available at this scope and it is not always easy to understand how to select and use them in the different steps of re-engineering. The main purpose of this paper is to perform a qualitative analysis of three well known EM languages (IDEF, UML and ARIS) and to propose a new methodology, based on their integrated use, supporting BPR efforts in the Product Development domain.

This thesis is a recherché of some significant standards and methodics of Business Process Modeling. The importance of Business Processes, Process Management and Process Modeling has significantly increased over the past years and is thus becoming one of the key competitiveness factors of an organization. Business Process Modeling is not only used on the field of analysis and optimization of Business Processes and Business Process Reengineering, but also in the areas of inter-company cooperation, Business Information Systems and Web services. The thesis describes following standards and methodics: IDEF, UML, BPMN, BPML, BPEL, EPC, ARIS, MMABP. It also suggests a procedure, which the company can follow while selecting a suitable standard and a general classification of standards.

In recent years Standard Software has evolved from a tool for supporting commercial/administrative activities (e.g. financial ac counting) to integrated systems that cover entire business proc esses in companies. The rapid development of these systems, an increasing number of implementations, and the suppliers' an nouncements concerning the functional extension of their sys tems lead us to expect a further market penetration of Standard Software. SAP's Industrial Solutions, for instance, which are of fered for the key processes of entire lines of business demon strate the impressive success of Standard Software Systems. The widespread implementation of commercial Standard Soft ware has reqUired considerable investments by industrial and service companies. Now it is time to verify if the planned gains and advantages of these systems have actually been realised, i.e. one has to ask whether the systems payoff as originally ex pected. It has to be kept in mind that the vendors have promised far-reaching optimisation of their clients' business processes by means of the so called best-practice reference processes implied by their systems. The advantages of these best-practices should have been incorporated in the processes of the respective com panies. On closer inspection, one can see that the claimed advantages of the systems' capabilities in terms of optimised processes have not been realised in many of the current implementations. Studies and interviews undertaken with applying companies as part of the research for this book confirm this finding.
