Background: Brucellosis is an important zoonotic disease caused by Brucella spp. Brucellosis is widely distributed in more than 160 or 170 countries around the world, where it poses a huge threat to animal husbandry and human health. About 150 million head of water buffalo, distributed across more than 40 countries worldwide, are kept for the purposes of service, milk, and meat. High incidence of Brucella spp. in buffalo has negatively affected dairy products and meat products.Results: We searched all research related to seroprevalence of brucellosis in water buffalo anywhere in the world in PubMed, Science Direct, SpringerLink, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Database, and VIP Chinese Journal Databases. A total of 26 articles published from 1985 to 2020 met the final selection criteria. The overall seroprevalence of buffalo brucellosis worldwide was 9.7%. The seroprevalence before 2010 (20.8%) (95% CI: 5.6–42.2) was much higher than the seroprevalence rate from 2010 to 2020 (4.2%) (95% CI: 1.8–7.5). Subgroup analysis by feeding mode found that the point estimate of seroprevalence in stock buffalo (11.5%) (95% CI: 3.6–23.0) was higher than that in captive buffalo (10.6%) (95% CI: 4.9–18.1). Subgroup analysis by farming mode found that the seroprevalence was higher in captive-bred buffalo (10.7%) (95% CI: 6.6–15.7) than in intensively farmed buffalo (8.5) (95% CI: 0.9–22.2). The seroprevalence in buffalo living in dry lands (6.4%) (95% CI: 2.0–12.9) is greater than that in buffalo living in wetlands (5.1%) (95% CI: 1.8–10.4) (P < 0.05). The seroprevalence in female buffalo (10.1%) (95% CI: 3.4–19.7) was higher than that in male buffalo (4.4%) (95% CI: 2.0–7.4). The seroprevalence in lactating buffalo was higher than that in buffalo of other ages (26.9%) (95% CI: 1.8–66.5). Subgroup analysis by detection method found that the seroprevalence detected by the complement fixation test (27.3%) (95% CI: 0.7–70.8) was much higher than that detected by other methods.Conclusion: The results of this meta-analysis showed that buffalo brucellosis infection is very common in buffalo herds around the world. Although the seroprevalence of brucellosis in buffalo and humans is relatively low, serious effects upon animal husbandry and public health make it necessary to take effective control and preventive measures to control the spread of this disease.

In the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau of China, the yak is an animal of particular economic interest, which provides protein and income for herders in daily life. Brucellosis is a bacterial disease that can infect humans and animals, including yaks. It can damage the yak reproductive system, causing miscarriage and orchitis. At the same time, brucellosis threatens the health of herders. We performed this meta-analysis using R software to explore the combined prevalence and risk factors of brucellosis in yak in China. Variability was assessed by the I2 statistic and Cochran Q statistic. We identified 52 publications of related research from four databases (Wanfang Data, VIP Chinese Journal Database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, and of PubMed). The pooled prevalence of yak brucellosis was 8.39 %. Prevalence was highest in Southwestern China (11.1 %). The point estimate of brucellosis in yak from 2012 to 2016 was the highest (11.47 %). The point estimate of age ≤ 12 months (1.44 %) was lower than that of age > 12 months (15.6 %). This study shows that yak brucellosis is serious, and its incidence is higher than before 2012. We recommend carrying out large-scale yak brucellosis investigations in Western China and conducting comprehensive testing planning. The detection of brucellosis in adult animals should be strengthened to reduce the economic loss caused by brucellosis to herders and to improve public health.

To examine the expression of carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 1(CEACAM1) and CD34 in gastric adenocarcinoma, and to investigate their relations with clinical pathology-related factors.Immunohistochemistry (IHC) was used to analyze the expression of CEACAM1 and CD34, and micro-vessel density (MVD) marked by CD34 was calculated in 208 cases of human gastric adenocarcinoma and in 56 cases of normal human gastric tissues.There was no expression of CEACAM1 in normal gastric mucosa. However, all of the gastric adenocarcinoma tissues expressed CEACAM1 with cytoplasmic and/or membranous staining. CEACAM1 expression was classified as high and low (137/208 vs. 71/208, 65.9% vs. 34.1%), the CD34-MVD value was significantly different between the two groups (P0.05). In addition, expressions of CEACAM1 and CD34 were significantly different from gastric adenocarcinoma to normal gastric tissues, respectively (P0.05). High CEACAM1 expression and high MVD value were positively associated with lymph nodes metastasis and TNM stage, but negatively related to pathological grade (P0.05). But they were irrelevant with tumor size, patients' age and gender (P0.05).The up-regulation of CEACAM1 expression may participate in tumorous angiogenesis, especially high expression of CEACAM1 promoted its capability of invasion and metastasis.

Through analyzing the real collision process of a steel plate rolling sliding off a lorry and box girder flange of an overpass, the damage degree of box girder may be known, and in this article the collision process is also simulated by means of finite element method so that it may be obtained how the damaged girder collapses and the cracks propagate. Furthermore, the dynamic characteristics are studied during the collision process and the reliability of overpass section collision is analyzed from the angle of energy transfer and dissipation.

By taking a simple supported concrete-filled steel truss bridge as the research object in Guangzhou, some jobs have been done such as the simulating calculation and the real-time monitoring of side span steel girder during the jacking construction procedure, and contrast analysis was conducted between the calculating stress value and the measured stress value, which may draw a conclusion that the safety could be satisfied during the jacking construction procedure

Bonding a strengthening plate to the tension face is an effective technique to repair reinforced concrete beams; however, much large shear stress along the adhesive line at the plate end will occur. The stress may cause the plate bonded at its end and the strengthened beams fail prematurely. In this paper, the finite element analysis software ANSYS was applied to study the interfacial stress distribution among the adhesive layer. The main factors affecting the peak values of the interfacial stress was also investigated entirely. The effect depends on two factors such as the distance of plate end from the support and plate thickness.

Emerging of nanotechnology represents development and achievements of modern materials science. Petroleum industry nowadays plays a leading role in development of energy industry. Therefore, the combination of the two is a valuable research subject. The prospect of application of nanometer material in injection-production, tertiary oil production, well sensing and imaging system and coating technology is presented herein. In addition, issues with respect to application of nanometer material in oil exploitation are discussed. Nanometer material and nanotechnology is the frontier technology in science and technology development in the past decades. It is predicated that today's ordinary original material be replaced by nanometer material and nanotechnology be a "key technology"[1] that will surpass internet and genetic technology.

Take the advantage of annealed genetic algorithm which characterize with the traits of fast search and globally optimization. Based on the mathematical model of the output of the steam soak well, and optimize injection production parameter of the steam soak well which is aimed at the cycle average daily profit maximum, and make the field application.

The development effect of steam flood well is influenced by the combination of the following parameters: injection speed, dryness fraction of steam, temperature of injection steam, and bottom hole flowing pressure. Taking the advantage of adaptive simulated annealing genetic algorithm with the characteristic of fast search and globally optimization, and combine with the mathematical model of the steam flood well. Maximization of the vapor-liquid interface factor is the target to optimize injection production parameter of the steam flood well, the results of the optimization shows that cumulative oil production increases obviously.

CONTEXT: To systematically evaluate the effects of hepatoprotective agents, when delivered either alone or in combination with other antiviral or non-antiviral drugs in patients with hepatitis B and hepatic fibrosis. OBJECTIVES: The current randomized controlled clinical trials aimed to evaluate the efficacy of combinations of antiviral and non-antiviral hepatoprotective agents on indexes of liver function and liver fibrosis in patients with hepatitis B. DATA SOURCES: Published literatures in Chinese and English on hepatoprotective treatment strategies for chronic hepatitis B and liver fibrosis were searched in three databases and randomized controlled clinical trials were selected. STUDY SELECTION: Data were extracted according to a variety of inclusion and exclusion criteria. Meta-analysis was employed to analyze the data. RESULTS: A total of 22 randomized controlled trials encompassing 1,714 cases were considered in the meta-analysis. The obtained results indicated that the combination of antiviral drug and hepatoprotective agent was better than antiviral drug alone to improve liver function. Similarly, regarding liver fibrosis, using two different hepatoprotective agents was better than using one agent. The normalization rates of Aminotransferase (ALT) and total Bilirubin (TBil) were improved 25.7% by two hepatoprotective agents compared to the single agent. Acetylcysteine was superior to ursodeoxycholic acid or silibinin to reduce ALT. Ursodeoxycholic acid was superior to acetylcysteine or silibinin to reduce TBIL. CONCLUSIONS: Hepatoprotective agents combined with antiviral drugs can significantly improve liver function and liver fibrosis parameters in patients with hepatitis B.

Guidan Highway super large bridge of Guangzhu railway engineering is a three-span (60m+100m+60m) continuous box girder bridge, which was constructed by using hanging basket cantilever method. On the basis of the analytic theory of 3D finite element forward/reverse, the linear monitoring of the whole bridge was done through controlling the template elevation of box girder (pre-camber). The result of monitoring shows that the linear of construction satisfies the requirements of design and specification and the bridge can be closed smoothly.

Based on a large amount of investigation, analysis and research of the application system status and network status of the power grid, the paper introduces a novel CDN network architecture for power grid, which has the power grid characteristics and meets the power grid requirements. In order to ensure the efficiency and stability of CDN system, the CDN network architecture key technologies include virtual CDN technology, software defined CDN technology, network measurement technology based on data analysis, database for CDN network, CDN management platform and load balance. Also, there are four aspects to ensure the security of CDN system, as network security, safety management system, CDN equipment safety and anti-leech mechanism which can be a reference for the construction of CDN network in power grid and other industries.
