To enable power generation companies to make full use of effective wind energy resources and grid companies to correctly schedule wind power, this paper proposes a model of offshore wind power forecast considering the variation of wind speed in second-level time scale. First, data preprocessing is utilized to process the abnormal data and complete the normalization of offshore wind speed and wind power. Then, a wind speed prediction model is established in the second time scale through the differential smoothing power sequence. Finally, a rolling PSO-LSTM memory network is authorized to realize the prediction of second-level time scale wind speed and power. An offshore wind power case is utilized to illustrate and characterize the performance of the wind power forecast model.

Major gaps in understanding the molecular mechanisms of colorectal cancer (CRC) progression and intestinal mucosal repair have hampered therapeutic development for gastrointestinal disorders. Trefoil factor 3 (TFF3) has been reported to be involved in CRC progression and intestinal mucosal repair; however, how TFF3 drives tumors to become more aggressive or metastatic and how TFF3 promotes intestinal mucosal repair are still poorly understood. Here, we found that the upregulated TFF3 in CRC predicted a worse overall survival rate. TFF3 deficiency impaired mucosal restitution and adenocarcinogenesis. CD147, a membrane protein, was identified as a binding partner for TFF3. Via binding to CD147, TFF3 enhanced CD147-CD44s interaction, resulting in signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) activation and prostaglandin G/H synthase 2 (PTGS2) expression, which were indispensable for TFF3-induced migration, proliferation, and invasion. PTGS2-derived PGE2 bound to prostaglandin E2 receptor EP4 subtype (PTGER4) and contributed to TFF3-stimulated CRC progression. Solution NMR studies of the TFF3-CD147 interaction revealed the key residues critical for TFF3 binding and the induction of PTGS2 expression. The ability of TFF3 to enhance mucosal restitution was weakened by a PTGS2 inhibitor. Blockade of TFF3-CD147 signaling using competitive inhibitory antibodies or a PTGS2 inhibitor reduced CRC lung metastasis in mice. Our findings bring strong evidence that CD147 is a novel receptor for TFF3 and PTGS2 signaling is critical for TFF3-induced mucosal restitution and CRC progression, which widens and deepens the understanding of the molecular function of trefoil factors.

This study addresses the event-triggered output tracking control under wireless network environments. First, an improved event-triggered communication scheme and a sampled-state-error dependent tracking model for wireless networked control systems is presented. In this scheme and model, (a) the sensor takes samples in a periodic manner; (b) an improved event-triggering condition is applied in the communications to determine whether the sampled data is transmitted to the controller or not; and (c) the closed-loop tracking system with a networked state-dependent controller is modelled as an augmented time-delay system. Second, by constructing a novel Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, two theorems are derived with guaranteed H∞ tracking performance subject to imperfect wireless communications. The tracking performance is based on two permissible limits on the signal transmission. That is, the maximum allowable communication delay bound and maximum allowable number of successive data dropouts. Finally, a satellite tracking example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Background Surgery is a performing art—each surgical procedure is a live performance that has immediate and irreversible consequences for both the performer and the audience. Surgeons operate with surgical instruments, whereas musicians perform with musical instruments. Both perform in high-stress, high-risk work environments, where small errors in motor performance or judgment can have immediate negative consequences. While there is abundant literature on musical performance and their impact on outcome, little similar research has been published in the field of surgery. We aimed at identifying expert musicians' practice and performance strategies that may aid surgeons to enhance their surgical performance. Methods In the study, 82 relevant English-language articles from 1974 to 2017 matched applicable search terms. Nominal Group Technique was applied to identify 5 key domains that comprise important parallels between surgical and expert musical performance. Results The 5 key domains identified were: (1) extensive training and deliberate practice, (2) dexterity and ambidexterity, (3) performance evaluation and competition, (4) performance-related injuries, and (5) performance anxiety. We found focused and mindful training in motor performance, not performing immediately after a hiatus from practice, training to improve the precision and responsiveness of the nondominant hand, continuous and critical self-evaluation, training in injury recognition and prevention, and pharmacologic factors to be of utmost importance. Conclusion Critical parallels exist between surgical and expert musical performance that may improve surgical outcomes by adopting musicians' strategies for combating physiological and psychologic performance-related issues. Raising surgeons' awareness for this subject content may improve surgical performance and patient outcomes, as well as help prevent occupational injuries.

In order to solve the face detection problem with complex lighting conditions, this paper presents a new method for face illumination compensation. The high-pass filtering is used to enhance edge information, the logarithmic transformation and the exponential transformtion are used to adjust the global brightness simultaneously, nonlinear variances are applied to reduce the impact of the local highlights and shadows. The uneven lighting problem is lighten. Comparison experiments are conducted on the Yale B face dataset, Orl face dataset and our own face dataset. The results demonstrate that the illumination compensation method can significantly improve face detection rate.

There are more load transfer schemes can be formed when some device is in maintenance with distributed generation. Considering the effect of distributed generation, within a maintenance time period of a month, a multi-objective minimum optimization framework on distribution network maintenance scheduling for total outage capacity, total switching times, as well as total network loss is developed on constraints of mutually exclusive and simultaneous maintenance. In addition, the NSGA-II algorithm with multi-period overall coding is applied to solve the model and the optimal maintenance scheme of a month is chosen based on priority order of objective function. The example results prove the validity of the multi-objective model and the NSGA-II algorithm in maintenance schedule of distribution network.

based on the in-depth study of continuous wavelet and discrete wavelet transform theory, this paper proposes a digital watermarking algorithm of the gray-scale images based on discrete wavelet transform (DWT). The results show that this algorithm not only makes the embedded watermark have good invisibility and the ability against various attacks, but also has strong robustness.

In this paper, through the analysis and the summarization of the existing problems, a mathematical model for the course timetable system is proposed. At the same time, through the use of the pattern recognition technology in artificial intelligence, aiming at this mathematical model a new university course timetable system design program is proposed and realized. This program not only can well solve the shortages of the existing course timetable system, but also is simple and easy to operate, has strong versatility.

Multifunctional RF front ends need to transmit different types of signals while maintaining efficiency and signal quality, we show that switched mode class-E power amplifiers can achieve high efficiency at RF frequency. In this paper, a 20W class-E power amplifier has been designed using MRF21030. The input match network and output network has been simulated carefully and the output efficiency of power amplifier is 63%. Further more, the effect of Vdd and input power have also been analyzed.

Error vector magnitude (EVM) is a key parameter for modern wireless communication such as TD-SCDMA and WCDMA. In TD-SCDMA system, there are many factors affecting the result of EVM and the phase noise of local oscillator (LO) is the most important one, so how to implement a phase-lock loop (PLL) design based on the EVM specification is challenging for radio designers. In this paper, we analyzed the relationship between EVM (error vector magnitude) and phase noise of PLL based on the structure of the TD-SCDMA system firstly. Secondly, A PLL simulation program which combined with the EVM simulation is written with ADS (advanced design system). Finally, as a practical application, the paper introduced a PLL circuit design for the TD-SCDMA system.
