Deep neural networks have achieved promising performance for hyperspectral image (HSI) classification. However, due to the limitation of the available labeled samples, the traditional deeper and wider neural networks usually cause the overfitting problem and lose the detailed information. To solve this problem, a brain-like structure, namely spatial attention-driven recurrent feedback convolutional neural network (SARFNN), is proposed by utilizing the recurrent feedback and attention mechanism structures, from which two deep models are further developed for HSI classification. First, a 2-D SARFNN (SARF2DNN) model is developed to learn the spatial features from HSI data. After that, to better exploit the 3-D characteristic, the 3-D version is extended from SARF2DNN, thus constructing an SARF3DNN model to extract joint spatial-spectral features. Moreover, with the help of the idea of brain-likeness, the recurrent feedback module is designed to recover information loss caused by deeper structure and the dimension reduction operation. The experimental results conducted on two HSI data sets show that our SARFNN architecture can achieve more competitive performance than other state-of-the-art algorithms.

Ag mesh transparent conductive films (TCFs) were prepared on the commercial FTO/Glass substrate by ultrafast laser direct writing, trying to improve its overall photoelectric performances. The effects of laser scanning speed, laser fluence and Ag mesh height on photoelectric properties of the Ag mesh/FTO TCFs were systematically studied. The results indicated that a small scanning speed or a high laser fluence would cause excessive ablation of the FTO film and result in an increased Ag mesh line width, which was detrimental to the photoelectric properties of the resulting TCF. It was found that the optimal parameters for fabricating Ag mesh/FTO TCFs were a laser scanning speed of 2200 mm/s, a laser fluence of 0.050 J/cm2 and an Ag mesh height of 2500 nm. The as-fabricated TCF possessed the highest figure of merit of 13.03 × 10−2 Ω−1, which was significantly superior to that of the commercial FTO film. Finally, transparent heaters (THs) were prepared respectively based on the optimal Ag mesh/FTO TCF and the FTO/Glass substrate. The Ag mesh/FTO TH exhibited a more excellent heating performance than the FTO TH, further confirming that the overall photoelectric performance of the FTO/Glass substrate had been greatly improved.

In this study, the fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) film on a glass substrate was etched by using a femtosecond pulsed laser with a wavelength of 1030 nm, a repetition rate of 1 MHz and a pulse duration of 262 fs. The effect of laser fluence and scanning speed on the quality of the groove etched on the FTO film surface was systematically studied, trying to improve the groove quality. The results indicated that in order to obtain high quality grooves for use on touch screens, a balance needed to be achieved between laser fluence and scanning speed. Excessive laser fluence caused cracks at the bottom of the groove with shoulder protrusions formed at the edge of the groove, and the scanning speed had a considerable influence on the groove width at the same time. After discussing and comparing the results of five groups of experiments, the best groove quality was determined at the scanning speed of 3000 mm/s and the laser fluence of 1.1 J/cm2. In this case, the edge of the groove was sharp without obvious cracks and shoulder-like protrusions, and the groove width was 7.92 μm, which made it possible to process small etched areas for touch screen. Furthermore, the optimal parameters were confirmed to be available for processing a pattern on the touch screen sensor layer with a line spacing of 5 μm.

Selective laser ablation (SLA) of silver (Ag) films, which were deposited on glass substrates by radio frequency (RF) magnetron sputtering, was performed by using a 532 nm nanosecond (ns) pulsed laser. Two kinds of simple and mask-free SLA strategies featured by two new scanning paths (i.e. frame-typed serial scanning, FTSS, and frame-line combined scanning, FLCS) were proposed to improve the edge quality and optical transmittances of the SLA patterns. The effects of laser scanning speed (v), hatch distance (HD) and scanning path on edge quality of the laser-ablated grooves and SLA patterns were systematically studied. The results indicated that compared with the conventional line-typed cyclic scanning (LTCS) path, which resulted in unsmooth edge with semicircle-shaped boundaries and some Ag residues, the proposed scanning paths of FTSS and FLCS produced clean and smooth edges without obvious heat-affected zone and Ag residues under the condition of using a v value of 15 mm/s and an HD value of 90 μm. As a result, the as-obtained SLA patterns exhibited relatively high optical transmittances. The simple methods of adopting the FTSS or FLCS path for improving the edge quality during SLA and thus the optical transmittance of SLA patterns may have great potential application in various fields.

Background and aim Human milk has potential protective effects against bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD). However, studies on the association between the dose of human milk and BPD in China are limited. This study aimed to evaluate the dose-dependent effects of human milk on BPD and other neonatal morbidities in very low birth weight (VLBW) infants. Methods This retrospective cohort study of preterm infants was conducted on preterm infants of gestational age ≤ 34 weeks and birth weight Results Of 964 included infants, 279 (28.9%) received exclusive preterm formula, 128 (13.3%) received 1–24 ml/(kg · day), 139 (14.4%) received 25–49 ml/(kg · day), and 418 (43.4%) received ≥50 ml/(kg · day) human milk for the first 4 weeks of life. Compared with infants receiving exclusive formula, those receiving the highest volume of human milk daily [≥50 mL/(kg · day)] had lower incidences of BPD [27.5% in ≥50 mL/(kg · day) vs 40.1% in 0 mL/(kg · day) human milk, P = 0.001)], moderate and severe BPD [8.9% in ≥50 mL/(kg · day) vs 16.1% in 0 mL/(kg · day), P = 0.004], necrotizing enterocolitis [NEC; 3.8% in ≥50 mL/(kg · day) vs 10.8% in 0 mL/(kg · day), P = 0.001], late-onset sepsis [LOS; 9.3% in ≥50 mL/(kg · day) vs 19.7% in 0 mL/(kg · day), P P Conclusions A daily threshold amount of ≥50 ml/(kg · day) human milk in the first 4 weeks of life was associated with lower incidence of BPD as well as NEC, LOS, and EUGR in VLBW infants. A simple transparent cover-assisted laser annealing strategy, which used a coverglass or a PET sheet as the transparent cover, was proposed to improve photoelectric properties of fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) thin films. Pure laser annealing was also performed for comparison. Transparent cover-assisted laser annealing was found to be more effective for producing densely distributed particles, decreasing surface roughness and increasing grain size, thus enhancing transmittance and conductivity of the film. More importantly, compared with coverglass-assisted laser annealing, PET-assisted laser annealing enabled the film surface to be covered with more uniform and denser particles and exhibit a remarkable increase in grain size. Therefore the film had the highest total transmittance of 84.32%, the highest specular transmittance of 75.88%, a slightly decreased haze of 10.01% and the lowest sheet resistance of 7.36 Ω/sq. The simple PET-assisted laser annealing method may be a promising substitution for the conventional laser annealing treatment.

2D ferroelectric field‐effect transistors devices are fabricated by epitaxial growth of Bi2O2Se on Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3‐PbTiO3. The devices exhibit ferroelectric polarization‐dependent photoresponse upon visible light (λ = 405 nm) and infrared light (IR, λ = 980 nm) illumination. Combining optical stimuli with ferroelectric gating, the devices show not only nonvolatile memory and optoelectronic response, but also coincidence detection of visible and infrared light.

A new ultrafast laser direct writing process to fabricate completely embedded silver mesh flexible transparent electrodes (TEs) using sputtered silver thin films and their applications for flexible transparent heaters (FTHs) are reported. The optimal laser etching parameters were determined, and the effects of mesh pitch and height on photoelectric properties of the silver mesh flexible TEs were systematically studied, with an aim to obtain a TE with excellent comprehensive performance. The resulting TE had a lower sheet resistance (0.86 Ω/sq) and a higher optical transmittance (91.26%) than traditional TEs. Good environmental stability of the TE, i.e. maintaining good electrical conductivity in air or deionized water without significant changes for 40 days, was also demonstrated. The fabricated representative FTH also presented stable heating performance, reaching a high temperature in 60 s under a DC voltage of 1.0 V and finally stabilizing at 98 ℃. This heating performance was confirmed to be stable and consistent after 20 cycles or under the conditions of bending and twisting. In addition, a deicing experiment was performed to illustrate the possible application of the FTH. The results indicated the availability of the laser direct writing method for fabricating high-performance metal mesh-based flexible TEs.

We developed a kind of Cu/Ag composite mesh transparent conductive electrodes (TCEs) with low reflection on glass substrates through a simple and effective method, and successfully applied them to fabricate transparent heaters with high performance. By combining laser direct writing and PVP coating-assisted localized removal of sputtered metal layers, Cu/Ag composite mesh TCEs with excellent optical and electrical properties were efficiently prepared and showed a low average reflectance down to 5.71% while maintaining a high average transmittance of 86.49% and a low sheet resistance of 0.43 Ω/sq. The transparent heater based on the as-obtained Cu/Ag composite mesh TCE exhibited an effective and rapid heating performance, being confirmed by achieving a steady-state temperature of ~131 °C within 100 s under an ultra-low applied voltage of 0.8 V. A deicing test of an ice block on the transparent heater was also successfully demonstrated. Good optical and electrical properties as well as excellent thermal stability and reliability imply that the transparent heaters based on the Cu/Ag composite mesh TCEs hold great promise in windshield deicing devices.

With the ultrashort timescale and high-power density, femtosecond laser is a powerful tool for localized material ablation with high processing accuracy and cleanliness. In this work, femtosecond laser direct writing was used to selectively ablate and remove the copper/silver (Cu/Ag) double-layer metal films on glass substrates for fabricating mesh-type transparent conductive electrodes (TCEs). In particular, the effects of laser fluence and laser scanning speed on surface morphology and photoelectric properties of the TCEs were studied. By using a laser fluence of 1.1 J/cm2 and a laser scanning speed of 400 mm/s, the optimal removal result of the Cu/Ag double-layer metal film was achieved with the minimal damage to the glass substrate. The as-obtained TCE showed a high average transmittance of 87.89% and a low sheet resistance of 1.36 Ω /sq. As an application, a transparent heater based on the as-obtained TCE exhibited an efficient, rapid and stable heating performance, being confirmed by achieving a high temperature of ∼ 144 °C under a low applied voltage of 2.0 V. The femtosecond laser selective ablation strategy for laser patterning of metal-based films provides a unique scheme for the rapid fabrication of metal mesh-type TCEs under the mask-free condition and room temperature.

This paper relates to a high reliable communication method for the terminal of a networked and distributed power supply system. Terminal refers to the realization of two-way communication between high voltage source of distributed power supply and laden multiple electrical appliances. Due to the characteristics of long distance, complex electromagnetic environment and small amount of communication information between the voltage source and the electrical appliance, this paper designs a new kind of high reliable communication method along with high-voltage transmission, narrow-banded and single-ended synchronous [1,2,8]. Under the condition of satisfying the communication capacity and reliability, this method has been successfully applied to the city network and LED street lamp management system with the advantage of simple circuit design and inexpensive manufacturing cost.

By using the advantages of C-type of traveling wave fault location method in distance measuring and the pattern recognition function of support vector machines (SVM),a new fault location method is presented.The first step of the method is determining the fault distance by C-type of traveling wave location method; the second one is locating the fault section by SVM. It also adopts the wavelet to reduce the noise of fault signal,and the accuracy can be more precise when the parameters of SVM are optimized.The simulation results of ATP and MATLAB show that the method can determine the single phase grounding fault point in 10kv distribution networks with branches accurately.

Dexmedetomidine, a selective alpha 2-adrenoceptor (α2AR) agonist, has provided significant analgesia in neuropathic pain. However, its underlying molecular mechanism has not been fully elucidated. In the present study, we found that intrathecal administration of dexmedetomidine alleviated mechanical allodynia induced by chronic constriction injury (CCI), and pretreatment with BRL44408 significantly reversed the dexmedetomidine-induced anti-nociceptive effect. Western blotting revealed that dexmedetomidine reduced the activation of microglia and the upregulation of interleukin-18 (IL-18) protein expression in the ipsilateral lumbar spinal dorsal horn, while BRL44408 pretreatment significantly blocked these effects of dexmedetomidine. Immunocytochemistry/immunohistochemistry indicated that the α2A-adrenoceptor was localised to microglia in primary culture, and IL-18 predominantly colocalised with the microglial marker Iba-1 in the dorsal horn of the spinal cord. These results suggest that the IL-18 signalling pathway in microglia may be involved in the anti-nociceptive effect of dexmedetomidine in rats subjected to CCI.

This study described a five-factor typology of online consumers motivations labeled as the functional shopper, the following shopper, the surfing shopper, conflicting shopper and e-laggard, and a five-factor typology of the clickstream data labeled as the functional browser, the hedonic browser, the impulsive browser, the comparative browser and the knowledge building browser by cluster analysis. A correspondence analysis for two typologies demonstrated an independent cluster frame with limited correspondence. Theoretical and marketing implications are discussed.

During the construction of large-scale infrastructure in China, the construction waste becomes a major environmental problem hampered the development of urban. In this study, the treating models of construction waste were analyzed. A case study was implemented in Xiaoting district in Yichang. It was proposed that the treatment can be started from urban planning, including controlling the source of construction waste on macro, designing transportation route of construction waste reasonably, and establishing regional system of joint control points, and constructing the governance model which used "building garbage's disposal" as the core of corridor of industrial chain economy. Finally, a practical kind of urban construction waste processing means and method was put forward which can provide scientific basis for construction of low carbon city.

Cascade Speed Regulation System has the nonlinear characteristics and whose structure parameters are variable easily. Fuzzy control theory which based on conventional Cascade Speed Regulation System is introduced into such system. An asynchronous motor model is built, and a fuzzy parameter self-tuning controller is designed in this paper, the controller is simulated in Matlab, The simulation result shows the difference between the conventional PI controller and the fuzzy parameter self-tuning PI controller. From these simulation results, all performance indexes of the fuzzy PI controller with parameters self-tuning are vastly superior to those of the conventional PI controller.

The objective of this paper is to investigate the difference in physiological parameters, EEG and morphology of brain tissues in newborn pigs with different regional oxygen saturations of brain (rSO(2)) and provide a basis for the determination of brain injury and degree of injury with the rSO(2) in clinical practice. A noninvasive near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) technique was used to monitor the rSO(2) of 27 newborn pigs. After mechanical ventilation and inhalation of 3-11% oxygen for 30 min by the newborn pigs, the pigs were grouped according to the rSO(2) in the brain caused by inhalation of different concentrations of oxygen. There were six animals each in rSO(2)30%, 30-35%, 35-40%, 40-50% groups and three animals in the rSO(2)60% group (normal control). The physiological parameters and the EEG were monitored during the experiment. The animals were sacrificed by decollation at 72 hours after brain injury, and light microscope examination and pathological analysis of the ultrastructure were conducted on the brain tissues in the CA1 zone of hippocampi. In rSO(2)40% groups, the mean arterial pressure (MAP) was stable and there were no significant changes in blood lactic acid, amplitudes of the EEG, light microscopic findings and ultrastructure after hypoxia. When the rSO(2) was between 30% and 40%, the MAP was stable, the level of blood lactic acid increased, metabolic acidosis occurred, there was no significant change in the amplitudes of the EEG, there were ischemic changes in brain tissues under a light microscope and there was an injury of mitochondria in the neurons in the CA1 zone of hippocampi. When the rSO(2) was less than 30%, circulatory failure occurred, the level of blood lactic acid increased, there was serious metabolic acidosis, the amplitudes of the EEG significantly decreased, there were vacuolization and broken fragments of cells under the light microscope and the mitochondria in the neurons in the CA1 zone of hippocampi were seriously injured. Under varying degrees of hypoxia, when the rSO(2) is between 30% and 40%, brain injury occurs and the functional zones of mitochondria are injured in newborn pigs. When the rSO(2) is less than 30%, the brain functions are seriously abnormal, and the serious morphological impairment in the functional zones of mitochondria is the basis for the disturbance of energy metabolism in brain neurocytes after hypoxia and the sequelae of the nervous system.

Background Spinal glia, particularly microglia and astrocytes, are of the utmost importance in the development and maintenance of chronic pain. A recent study from our laboratory revealed that gabapentin, a recommended first-line treatment for multiple neuropathic conditions, could also efficiently antagonize thermal hyperalgesia evoked by complete Freund's adjuvant (CFA)-induced monoarthritis (MA). In the present study, we investigated whether the spinal glia are involved in the anti-hyperalgesic effect of gabapentin and how this event occurs. Results Unilateral intra-articular injection of CFA produced a robust activation of microglia and astrocytes. These cells exhibited large cell bodies, thick processes and increases in the ionized calcium binding adapter molecule 1 (Iba-1, a microglial marker) or the glia fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP, an astrocytic marker). These cells also displayed immunoreactive signals, and an upregulation of the voltage-gated calcium channels (VGCCs) α2/δ-1 subunit, CX3CL1 and CX3CR1 expression levels in the spinal cord. These changes were associated with the development of thermal hyperalgesia. Immunofluorescence staining showed that VGCC α2/δ-1 subunit, a proposed gabapentin target of action, was widely distributed in primary afferent fibers terminals and dorsal horn neurons. CX3CL1, a potential trigger to activate microglia, colocalized with VGCC α2/δ-1 subunits in the spinal dorsal horn. However, its receptor CX3CR1 was mainly expressed in the spinal microglia. Multiple intraperitoneal (i.p.) gabapentin injections (100 mg/kg, once daily for 4 days with the first injection 60 min before intra-articular CFA) suppressed the activation of spinal microglia, downregulated spinal VGCC α2/δ-1 subunits decreased CX3CL1 levels and blocked the development of thermal hyperalgesia in MA rats. Conclusions Here we provide the first evidence that gabapentin diminishes CX3CL1 signaling and spinal microglia activation induced by joint inflammation. We also show that the VGCC α2/δ-1 subunits might be involved in these events.
