Aconitine is a natural toxic substance belonging to the family of aconitum alkaloids, which is used in small doses by Traditional Chinese practitioners. We present a case of accidental death due to acute aconitine poisoning. A 65-year-old Chinese man presented to a medical clinic with fever and shoulder pain. Soon after administration of intravenous ceftriaxone, a bottle of Chinese medicinal wine was administered. The man rapidly experienced headache, hearing loss and tinnitus, nausea, diarrhea, numbness of the lips, tongue, face, and the upper and lower extremities, cold sweat, fall of blood pressure, and discomfort of the entire body, and he died on the same day. Postmortem examination showed cyanosis of the nail beds, severe congestion in lungs and other organs, bilateral pleural effusions, and infiltration of basophils in the intestinal submucosa. No significant increase of IgE was found in the blood. Toxicological analysis detected aconitine in the medicinal wine, blood, and stomach contents by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS⁄MS). Aconitine was quantified in cardiac blood as 16.4 ng/ml, and in stomach contents (63.8 ng/ml) and wine sample (10.1 ug/ml). The cause of death was aconitine poisoning. This case report highlights the danger of aconitine. LC-MS⁄MS has the advantages of high analytic speed, sensitivity, and accuracy. It would be desirable for the government to control the use of aconitine-containing herbal extracts.

To allow for comparisons between sleepiness in adolescents from different cultures, and with different linguistic backgrounds, reliable and valid measurement tools are necessary. The purpose of this study was to translate and validate a Chinese version of the Cleveland Adolescent Sleepiness Questionnaire (C-CASQ).Materials and Methods: Sensitivity, specificity, internal consistency, and criterion validity data for the C-CASQ were tested using 458 adolescents in Taiwan. Data from 191 participants were used to establish internal consistency reliability and conduct exploratory factor analysis (EFA), while data from 267 participants were used to establish criterion validity and conduct confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Initial criterion validity was established through a comparison of the C-CASQ with scores from the Chinese version of the Morningness-Eveningness Scale for Children, a measure of chronotype.Results: EFA resulted in four factors, consistent with the original English version of the CASQ, while CFA established goodness of fit. The scale demonstrated acceptable to good internal consistency (α = 0.77∼ 0.86). Initial criterion validity was evident as the total score and each of the subscale scores on the C-CASQ was significantly higher (greater sleepiness) in evening-types.Conclusion: The C-CASQ appears to be a psychometrically sound measure to evaluate sleepiness in Chinese-speaking adolescents.Keywords: teens, sleep, alertness, chronotype

Previous voxel-based morphometry (VBM) and cortical thickness (CT) studies on Parkinson's disease (PD) have mainly reported the gray matter size reduction, whereas the shape of cortical surface can also change in PD patients. For the first time, we analyzed sulcal depth (SD) patterns in PD patients by using whole brain region of interest (ROI)-based approach. In a cross-sectional study, high-resolution brain structural MRI images were collected from 60 PD patients without dementia and 56 age-and sex-matched healthy controls (HC). SD and CT were estimated using the Computational Anatomy Toolbox (CAT12) and statistically compared between groups on whole brain ROI-based level using statistical parametric mapping 12 (SPM12). Additionally, correlations between regional brain changes and clinical variables were also examined. Compared to HC, PD patients showed lower SD in widespread regions, including temporal (the bilateral transverse temporal, the left inferior temporal, the right middle temporal and the right superior temporal), insular (the left insula), frontal (the left pars triangularis, the left pars opercularis and the left precentral), parietal (the bilateral superior parietal) and occipital (the right cuneus) regions. For CT, only the left pars opercularis showed lower CT in PD patients compared to HC. No regions showed higher SD or CT in PD patients compared to HC. In PD patients, a significant positive correlation was found between SD of the left pars opercularis and MMSE scores, such that lower MMSE scores were related to lower SD of the left pars opercularis. Our results of widespread lower SD, but relatively localized lower CT, indicate that SD seems to be more sensitive to brain changes than CT and may be mainly affected by white matter damage. Hence, SD may be a more promising indicator to investigate the surface shape changes in PD patients. The significant positive correlation between SD of the left pars opercularis and MMSE scores suggests that SD may be prognostic of future cognitive decline.

Most senior veterans who live in veteran homes in Taiwan have few interpersonal relationships. Aging is often accompanied by solitude and illness, which causes senior veterans to doubt the meaning of life and to lose confidence in the value of life. This study tested the effectiveness of a group reminiscence therapy protocol on the depression and meaning of life among elderly institutionalized veterans. A quasi-experimental design was applied. A convenience sample of older adults was drawn from two veteran homes in southern Taiwan. Participants were assigned to intervention or control groups based on the veterans' homes they attended. The participants in the intervention group carried out group reminiscence therapy for 8 weeks in addition to their daily activities. The participants in the comparison group maintained their daily activities. Both groups were evaluated using the GDS-SF and MLS scale including two aspects of depression mood and meaning of life in weeks 1 and 8. The overall life satisfaction increased significantly over time for the intervention group compared to the comparison group from week 1 to week 8. The group reminiscence therapy programs showed promising effects in improving the depression and meaning of life of older veterans living in veteran homes.

Recent research on Parkinson's disease (PD) has demonstrated the topological abnormalities of structural covariance networks (SCNs) using various morphometric features from structural magnetic resonance images (sMRI). However, the sulcal depth (SD)-based SCNs have not been investigated. In this study, we used SD to investigate the topological alterations of SCNs in 60 PD patients and 56 age- and gender-matched healthy controls (HC). SCNs were constructed by thresholding SD correlation matrices of 68 regions and analyzed using graph theoretical approaches. Compared with HC, PD patients showed increased normalized clustering coefficient and normalized path length, as well as a reorganization of degree-based and betweenness-based hubs (i.e., less frontal hubs). Moreover, the degree distribution analysis showed more high-degree nodes in PD patients. In addition, we also found the increased assortativity and reduced robustness under a random attack in PD patients compared to HC. Taken together, these findings indicated an abnormal topological organization of SD-based SCNs in PD patients, which may contribute in understanding the pathophysiology of PD at the network level.

With the dramatically fast spread of COVID-9, real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test has become the gold standard method for confirmation of COVID-19 infection. However, RT-PCR tests are complicated in operation andIt usually takes 5-6 hours or even longer to get the result. Additionally, due to the low virus loads in early COVID-19 patients, RT-PCR tests display false negative results in a number of cases. Analyzing complex medical datasets based on machine learning provides health care workers excellent opportunities for developing a simple and efficient COVID-19 diagnostic system. This paper aims at extracting risk factors from clinical data of early COVID-19 infected patients and utilizing four types of traditional machine learning approaches including logistic regression(LR), support vector machine(SVM), decision tree(DT), random forest(RF) and a deep learning-based method for diagnosis of early COVID-19. The results show that the LR predictive model presents a higher specificity rate of 0.95, an area under the receiver operating curve (AUC) of 0.971 and an improved sensitivity rate of 0.82, which makes it optimal for the screening of early COVID-19 infection. We also perform the verification for generality of the best model (LR predictive model) among Zhejiang population, and analyze the contribution of the factors to the predictive models. Our manuscript describes and highlights the ability of machine learning methods for improving the accuracy and timeliness of early COVID-19 infection diagnosis. The higher AUC of our LR-base predictive model makes it a more conducive method for assisting COVID-19 diagnosis. The optimal model has been encapsulated as a mobile application (APP) and implemented in some hospitals in Zhejiang Province.

We retrospectively analyzed the echocardiographic findings of eight patients with left ventricular noncompaction (LVNC) and concurrent coronary artery disease. This study was conducted in Yijishan Hospital between January 2012 and May 2017. Of the eight patients, six were diagnosed with coronary arterial atherosclerosis, one patient with coronary pulmonary fistula, and one with coronary myocardial bridge. Regional wall motion abnormalities were detected in all patients. Echocardiography can provide significant information about LVNC in patients with coronary artery disease. However, whether regional wall motion abnormalities are caused by coronary artery disease or noncompaction of the myocardium remains unknown in most patients.

The aim of the current study was to investigate the imaging features of abdominal cocoon (AC), the methods of diagnosis and treatment of AC and improve understanding of AC. To do this, the current study retrospectively analyzed the clinical data and imaging findings of nine patients with AC. The clinical manifestations included intestinal obstruction in six out of the nine cases of AC, which included two cases of bowel strangulation and five cases of soft masses in the abdomen. Imaging features of AC included the following: i) Bowel loops were usually present in a fixed cluster; ii) bowel loops were encapsulated partially or totally by a thickening fibrous membrane-like 'cocoon'; iii) bowel wall thickened in the 'cocoon', and the bowel loops and sac adhered; iv) loculated ascites in the 'cocoon'; v) abnormal clustering of the mesenteric vasculature, hypoplasia of the omentum majus was present or absent; and vi) Ileus occurred in some cases. The features of a plain abdominal X-ray, a gastrointestinal barium meal series and ultrasonography lacked specificity. The results of CT in eight out of nine cases of AC were consistent with the surgical findings. Surgery was the first choice of therapy. All cases were treated surgically, showing that the bowel loops were encapsulated partially or totally by a thickened fibrous membrane. All cases received operations including partial or total excision of the membrane and enterolysis. In conclusion, CT may be highly valuable in the preoperative diagnosis of AC.

Recently, the rapid development of e-commerce faces various challenges in information maintenance during online transactions and purchases. Presently, server error and security threats are an interactive method of payment; inconsistent data dissemination issues and prolonged customer waiting time during online purchase and transaction lead to several concerns based on supply chain management during the delivery of products. An essential component of e-commerce is the online transaction portal to ensure specific transactions with conflicts free and ensuring cyber security. Hence, this research develops a deep logistic learning framework (DLLF) to minimize computational time and improve data dissemination accuracy during an online transaction. Furthermore, the DLLF model has been designed based on deep logistic and sampled structure using a controlled network approach and integrated learning system to minimize the computational time and improve accuracy in maintaining customer data. Simulation analysis shows that user behaviors proposed framework analysis improves precision and minimizes computation time during the online purchase effectively with cyber security. The experimental results show DLLF has high efficiency (95.1%), enhanced customer satisfaction (92.6%), less error rate (21.4%), performance rate (94.3%), improved data prediction (91.2%), cost-effectiveness (94.5%), overall production (93.6%) when compared to other methods.

Monoclonal gammopathy of renal significance (MGRS) can present with different morphologic features and lead to kidney failure. The Henoch-Schönlein purpura nephritis (HSPN) that cannot be relieved by treatment with glucocorticoid and immunosuppressive agents suggests the presence of monoclonal gammopathy in adult patients. The present study reports on a single case of HSPN associated with IgA-κMGRS. The patient who suffered from recurrent skin purpura for 6 months and nephrotic syndrome for 2 months was admitted to our hospital. Bone marrow biopsy showed monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance. Kidney biopsy indicated a Henoch-Schönlein purpura nephritis (HSPN, ISKDC classified as type III) with positive staining with κ-light chain in the glomeruli and renal tubular epithelial cells. Furthermore, skin biopsy showed leukocytoclastic vasculitis and negative staining for Congo red and light chain. Given both the renal and cutaneous involvement, the patient was considered to have HSPN associated with IgA-κMGRS. The patient experienced an exacerbation in his purpura-like lesions and clinical status after treatment with glucocorticoid and immunosuppressive agents. Consequently, the patient was put on a regimen that included dexamethasone (20 mg on the 1st, 4th, 8th, and 11th days of each month, iv) and bortezomib (2.4 mg on the 1st, 4th, 8th, and 11th days of each month, iv). Eight weeks after treatment, he had complete resolution of his cutaneous purpura and his biochemical parameters improved. The latent presence of MGRS in cases of HSPN should be considered in adult patients. Increased cognizance and correct treatment options could improve patient outcomes.

In the normal word embedding generation methods, many traditional language models, such as Word2vec, Glove, divide the corpus into fixed-length contexts by setting a fixed-size window, which greatly reduce the complexity of the model and computations, but this cause the semantic missing and chaos and other issues. To this end, this paper presents a new context segmentation strategy, which uses punctuation to divide corpus into semantically complete contexts, of which the length is not fixed. In order to apply this kind of context on Glove, this paper proposes two improved models based on the original Glove: 1) Using the new context partitioning strategy to calculate the co-occurrence between words, the improved model is called Glove1. 2) On the basis of 1), the context is encoded into a distributed vector and introduced into the model's calculation, the improved model is called Glove2. We use the news.2012.en.shuffled data set to train and test on the Glove, the Glove1 and the Glove2 respectively. The experimental results shows that it is feasible to use the punctuation to divide the corpus into semantically complete contexts, which can significantly improve the semantic and syntactic of word embedding. Glove1 and Glove2 improve the quality of word embedding, which contains more semantic and syntactic information and has better linear relationships.

As for the wide application of arc suppression coil to the grounding in neutral point of mine high voltage grid, grid leakage fault rules and harmonic characteristics of the neutral point grounding system through arc suppression coil are analyzed, the selective leakage protection program “zero-sequence voltage starts, fifth harmonics of grid zerosequence voltage and zero-sequence current are extracted for phase comparison” is proposed, and corresponding fifth harmonic extraction circuit and power direction discrimination circuit are designed. The experimental results show that the protective principle applies not only to the neutral point insulated power supply system, but also to the power supply system in which neutral point passes arc suppression coil, which can solve selective leakage protection problems under different neutral grounding ways, improving the reliability of selective leakage and guaranteeing the stability of the action value.

In order to solve the shortcomings such as low efficiency and poor reliability of the traditional vehicle man- agement system, this paper proposes a vehicle information recognition system based on machine vision. The system uses the LabVIEW development platform, to realize data acquisition, processing and recognition of vehicle license with ma- chine vision technology, and the design of image acquisition read, image preprocessing, license plate location, character segmentation and character recognition and other five VI. This system has the advantages of high recognition accuracy, short time, strong reliability and good market prospects, and will play a significant role in the field of traffic management.

Presents a method to realize FIR filter based on DSP Builder, FIR design using a relatively independent function of circuit module and subsystems in the design, it can easily realize the filtering function of FIR, simplified the design, modular design method greatly shortens the development cycle, make the system have been optimized in the chip area and timing analysis etc. Experimental results show that the filtering performance of the filter is good, and completely suitable for use in practical engineering in various signal processing.

In order to improve the accuracy, feasibility and convenience of the vibration detection system, design a simple and practical low-frequency vibration detection system. This system is designed based on STM32 platform, composed of shaping circuit, the measurement of vibration signal, wireless transmission and TFT touch screen display module, μC/OS-II embedded system transplantation, miniGUI interface design, and finally realize the display of waveform and frequency of vibration signal. By testing this system, find that it is stable, reliable and real-time, basically reached the expected requirements and can be very good to meet the actual demand, which has a widespread application prospect.

A novel algorithm based on image quality assessment was proposed for a turbulence-degraded infrared image to deblur the fuzzy infrared image caused by a high-speed turbulent flow field.Firstly,the degradation process was simplified as parameter-describing 2-D Gaussian function according to the prior knowledge,the degraded image was segmented into edge region,texture region and plain region and the weighted average of those regional 2-D kurtosis were used as the image kurtosis.Then,the kurtosis of restored image varying with the parameter under different support regions was calculated and the curvature-maximum criterion was used to estimate the corresponding parameter from the "kurtosis-parameter" curve.After that,the Point Spread Function(PSF) determined by the support domain and corresponding estimated parameter were used to restore the degraded image.Finally,a no-reference image quality assessment was used to compare different restored images,and the PSF of the recovered image with the highest quality was regarded as a final identification result.Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can identify the parameter and support region of the blur function well,and the maximum deviation of the estimated parameter and the real value is less than ±5% when the Signal to Noise Ratio(SNR) of the degraded image is larger than 30 dB.The identification results can be used as an initial PSF estimation for other turbulence-degraded infrared image restoration algorithms.

In recent years, the improvement of cloud computing and mobile computing techniques has led to the availability of a variety of mobile applications ('apps') in the app store. For instance, a garbage truck app that can provide the immediate location of a garbage truck, the location of collection points, and forecasted arrival times of garbage trucks would be useful for mobile users. Since the power consumption of apps on mobile devices if of concern to mobile users, an optimised power-saving mechanism for updating messages, which is based on location information, for a proposed garbage truck fleet management system (GTFMS) is proposed and implemented in this paper. The GTFMS is a three-component system that includes the on-board units on garbage trucks, a fleet management system, and a garbage truck app. In this study, an arrival time forecasting method is designed and implemented in the fleet management system, so that the garbage truck app can retrieve the forecasted arrival time via web services. A message updating event is then triggered that reports the location of garbage truck and the forecasted arrival time. In experiments conducted on case studies, the results showed that the mean accuracy of predicted arrival time by the proposed method is about 81.45 per cent. As for power consumption, the cost of traditional mobile apps is 2,880 times that of the mechanism proposed in this study. Consequently, the GTFMS can provide the precise forecasted arrival time of garbage trucks to mobile users, while consuming less power. A dual-gate + Z-inversion(DZi) driving method was proposed to reduce power consumption of thin-film transistor liquid crystal display(TFT-LCD).The power saving principle of DZi driving was researched,the structure design and circuit design were finished,35.6 cm(14 in) WXGA(1 366 RGB×768) samples were manufactured,and the power saving effect was measured and analyzed.As results,DZi can save TFT-LCD power consumption in effect,such as panel AVDDS power reduces 70%(191 mW) when display color-bar pattern.Moire phenomenon that appeared in DZi module was analyzed,and solutions were proposed.The research established a driving method and design reference for lower power consumption in TFT-LCDs and other displays.

In this study, the authors report that GaN-based LEDs prepared on 1.2μm, 1.4μm, and 1.7μm height of cone-shaped patterned sapphire substrates (CSPSS) with the formation of air voids at GaN/cone-shaped-patterned-sapphire-substrate interface by laser scribing and lateral etching with one-step MOCVD growth. With CSPSS, it can be seen that output powers were all significantly larger than that of LED with flat substrate (FS). Assisted by 20 min lateral etching, it was found that peripheral pyramid-like air-voids were formed on top of each cone of the CSPSS with 1.7μm height and the light output power increased by 13.8%, compared with the result of the CSPSS with 1.2μm height. Furthermore, it was also found that output power of LED prepared on 1.7μm height of CSPSS with 20 min lateral etching was 6.2 and 3.1% larger than those of LEDs prepared on 1.2μm and 1.4μm height of CSPSS with 20 min lateral etching, respectively.

We reported a controlled architecture growth of high density and ordered polymeric nanoparticle film of poly (3, 4-ethylene dioxythiophene) (PEDOT) via Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) technique, and self-assembled performance of PEDOT nanoparticles at air/water interface was investigated in detail. The conducting film consisting of high density and ordered nanoparticles was transferred onto ITO substrate as a hole injection layer for organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs). The results showed that, compared to conventional PEDOT film, the improved performance of OLEDs was obtained after using ordered PEDOT nanoparticle layer as hole injection layer. It also indicated that compact arrangement and well-ordered structure of conducting channel was attributed to the improvement of OLED performance, leading to the increase of charged carrier mobility in hole injection layer and the recombination rate of electrons and holes in the electroluminescent layer.

The construction and commissioning of HIRFL-CSR were finished in 2007. From 2000 to 2005 the subsystem and key devices of CSR were successfully fabricated, such as magnet, power supply, UHV system, e-cooler, electric-static deflector with the septum of 0.1 mm, and the fast-pulse kicker with the rise time of 150 ns. After that the CSR commissioning activities were performed in 2006 and 2007, including the accumulation of those heavy ions of C, Ar, Kr and Xe by the combination of stripping injection (STI) or multiple multi-turn injection (MMI) and e-cooling with a hollow e-beam, wide energy-range synchrotron ramping by changing the RF harmonic-number at mid-energy, the beam stacking in the experimental ring CSRe, the RIBs mass-measurement with the isochronous-mode in CSRe by using the time-of-flight method, and the ion beam slow-extraction from CSRm.

Objectives: To evaluate the prevalence of persistent lipid abnormalities and statin use in Chinese patients with coronary artery disease. Methods: This cross-sectional observational study consecutively enrolled 9420 outpatients with coronary artery disease in China. ESC/EAS Guidelines for the management of dyslipidemia and Chinese guidelines on prevention and treatment of dyslipidemia in adults were used to compare the control rate of low density lipoprotein cholesterol, high density lipoprotein cholesterol and triglyceride. Results: Among the 9420 participants, 33.6% was diagnosed as diabetes mellitus. The measurement of coronary flow velocity reserve (CFVR) by transthoracic Doppler echocardiography (TTDE) with invasive intracoronary Doppler flow wire technique (ICD) was validated and the pathological factors which influence CFVR in patients with angiographically normal coronary arteries were analyzed. CFVR was determined successfully in left anterior descending artery (LAD) in 37 of 40 patients with angiographically normal coronary arteries (men 22, women 15, age 20-75 years, mean age 54 +/- 12 years). Coronary flow velocity was measured in the distal LAD by TTDE with contrast enhancement at baseline and during intravenous adenosine infusion of 140 microg/kg per min within 48 h after ICD technique. Average peak velocity at baseline (APVb), average peak velocity during hyperemia (APVh) and CFVR determined from TTDE were correlated closely with those from ICD measurements (APVb: y = 0.64x + 5.04, r = 0.86, P0.001; APVh: y = 0.63x + 14.36, r = 0.82, P0.001; CFVR: y = 0.65x + 0.92, r = 0.88, P0.001). For CFVR measurements, the mean differences between TTDE and ICD methods were 0.12 +/- 0.39. CFVR in patients with history of hypertension was significantly lower than that in patients without history of hypertension (P0.05). Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) was performed in 34 patients. Plaque formation was found in LAD by IVUS in 17 (50%) patients. No significant difference in CFVR was found between the patients without plaque formation (3.11 +/- 0.49) and those with plaque formation (2.76 +/- 0.53, P = 0.056). It is suggested that TTDE with contrast enhancement provides reliable measurement of APV and CFVR in the distal LAD. The early stage of atherosclerosis could be detected by IVUS, which may be normal in angiography. CFVR is impaired in patients with history of hypertension compared with that in patients without history of hypertension.

Based on its productionguideline, organic agriculture has set foritself the goals of minimizing all forms ofpollution and maintaining sustainability of thefarming system. By striving for these goals,organic farming meets the demands of anincreasing number of consumers who are criticalof conventional production methods. This papergives an overview of the present state of theart in the different issues. Possibilities ofand limitations in performing the self-aimedgoals under the basic standards of organicagriculture are discussed. Concerningenvironmental protection, in general, the riskof adverse environmental effects is lower withorganic than with conventional farming methods,though not necessarily so; with reference tosoil fertility and nutrient management, organicfarming is suited to improve soil fertility andnutrient management markedly on the farm level;regarding biodiversity, comparison studies showthat organic farming has more positive effectson biodiversity conservation; in relation toproduct quality, under the basic standards oforganic farming, there is no sufficientevidence for a system-related effect on productquality due to the production method.

Transthoracic Doppler echocardiography (TTDE) allows noninvasive flow measurement in the distal left anterior descending artery (LAD). The feasibility of detecting coronary flow by contrast-enhanced TTDE with second harmonic technique was assessed, the coronary flow velocity reserve (CFVR) was evaluated in comparison to intracoronary Doppler flow (ICD) analysis and the CFVR after PTCA in LAD was investigated. In 77 (96%) of 80 patients, CFVR was successfully determined with intravenous adenosine infusion. Doppler signal quality was evaluated in the first 46 patients by use of intravenous Levovist infusion and second harmonic technique. The Doppler flow was not visible in 1. patient only. CFVR determined from TTDE (2.77 +/- 0.65) was correlated closely with those from ICD (2.88 +/- 0.78) measurements (y = 0.73x + 0.67, r = 0.87, P0.001). In conclusion, TTDE is a feasible method and provides reliable data on CFVR which can be used for follow-up after PTCA.

We propose a multifunction phase-shifting manipulator with low noise at a single-photon level,by using a threelevel atomic scheme.This three-level system interacts with a strong pumping field and a weak probe field with a large detuning.Due to this large detuning,two lower states can be coherently prepared prior to the injection of the pump and probe fields.In our configuration,the duration of the pumping field is much longer than that of the probe field. By solving the Heisenberg-Langevin equations of our system under the steady state approximation,we calculate the linear susceptibility of the system and examine the quantum noise properties of the probe field in detail.We show that this scheme,which rests on the process of two-wave mixing with initial atomic coherence,exhibits many interesting properties that neither typical electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) schemes nor active Raman gain (ARG) schemes possess.Although both EIT-and ARG-based schemes have been widely investigated in atomic medium,the direct generalizations of these schemes to the single/few photon limit prove to be more problematic.The low fidelity due to the significant probe-field attenuation in EIT medium and the large quantum noise due to the amplification of the probe field in an active Raman gain medium are the main obstacles that prohibit a high-fidelity,low-noise phase shifter from being realized in the single/few photon limit.Physically,this scheme can be viewed as a hybrid scheme in which two processes of different physical principles are allowed to interfere with each other to achieve many desired functionalities. For instance,it can be used as a lossless two-photon-broadband phase-shifter with suitable system parameters.It can also be used as an attenuator/amplifier and a total transparency with a zero phase shift.In particular,we show that by locking the pump field intensity and the two-photon detuning simultaneously a flat constant π-phase shift can be realized with unit probe fidelity in a broad probe field frequency range.Applying the quantum regression theorem,we calculate the noise spectrum of the outgoing probe field as a large phase shift is achieved,and show that this two-photon-insensitive π-phase shift may significantly reduce the quantum noise fluctuations associated with a Raman gain process,and have a lot of potential applications for quantum information processing and optical telecommunication.The realization of this broadband π-phase-shift with significantly reduced quantum noise fluctuations makes this scheme attractive for the realization of low-noise phase-gate/polarization-gate at single-photon level.

Concerning the problem that the existing direct anonymous authentication scheme cannot achieve effectively in different domains,based on the original direct anonymous authentication scheme,in this paper a direct anonymous authentication scheme was designed.It took the certificate issuer outside the domain as a proxy,and the certificate was issued by certificate issuer outside the domain directly,which solved the privacy protection problem of trusted computing platform effectively in different trusted domains,and it had permission settings to trusted computing platform in different trust domains.Demonstrated by analysis,this new scheme meets the requirements on anonymity,unforgeability and prevention of replay attacks.Furthermore,it improves the efficiency of certification scheme.

In this paper, an ISG hybrid electrical vehicle (HEV) was modeled by LabVIEW of National Instruments (NI). In order to test its fuel economic performance in human-in-the-loop environment, a small researching driving simulator was built. The simulation platform and data acquisition system were built by NI PXI hardware and related software. Unity 3D game engine was selected to construct virtual driving scene. Game inputs device were used as driving manipulate hardware. The whole driving simulation system realizes man-machine interactive simulation, provides a safe and reliable environment for research of HEV fuel economic.

In this letter, we demonstrate the monolithic integration of high-speed GaAs-AlGaAs-based unitraveling-carrier photodiode (UTC-PD) with Zn-diffusion vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSELs), both with very high data rate/power consumption ratios for the application to bidirectional optical interconnect. Under zero-bias operation, the integrated UTC-PD exhibits reasonable external efficiency (48%), wide 3-dB bandwidth (13 GHz), and 10-Gb/s eye-opening from low to high output photocurrents (0.1-0.4 mA) without integrating with any active ICs. Regarding the integrated Zn-diffusion VCSEL, it can achieve 10-Gb/s eye-opening under a prebias current as small as 3 mA and a very small RF driving voltage (0.25 Vp-p driving voltage). The data rate/power consumption ratio of the VCSEL is extremely high, as much as 2.4 Gb/s middotmW-1.

Coronary artery fistula (CAF) is a relatively uncommon cardiovascular disease. It is an abnormal communication between a coronary artery and a cardiac chamber, great vessels, or other vascular structures. Most are congenital. Multiplane transesophageal echocardiography (multiplane TEE, MTEE) can reveal the proximal dilation, the course and the drainage site of CAF. Presented in this paper was a report of right coronary artery-left ventricle fistula, for the first time, right coronary-left ventricle fistula diagnosed by MTEE and confirmed by angiography.

This paper presents a miniature implanted antenna operated at medical implant communication systems (MICS) band (402–405 MHz) with the dimension of 40×10×1.905 mm3 for biotelemetry. The antenna is fabricated on biocompatible Ceramic Alumina substrates. For simplicity three □ layer human tissues are adopted first. With the special arrangement of the antenna structure, a spiral □ like current distribution is excited and the corresponding electromagnetic wave can be radiated toward the outside of the human body. The antenna achieves a gain of −21.7 dBi, capable of extending the battery life. Furthermore, the frequency response is insensitive to the change of the implanted environment. Finally, a complete human model is used and the results are similar.

Using biplane transesophageal echocardiography and the concept of three dimensional transthoracic echocardiography, we performed three dimensional reconstruction of transesophageal images of various clinicopathologic cases, including atrial septal defect, mitral stenosis, mitral valve prolapse and pulmonary stenosis. The hardware equipments and image processing flow chart of three dimensional reconstruction of transesophageal echocardiographic images are described. Our present study indicates that three dimensional reconstruction of transesophageal echocardiographic images could display multi-regional three dimensional structures of heart and great vessels, including superior vena cava, ascending aorta, right ventricular outflow tract, pulmonary artery and left heart, with clear, visual and stereoscopic imaging. The regional structures could be displayed at different levels of stereo-anatomic-secr tions and in different orientations of rotating stereo-images, which could provide accurate three dimensional anatomical information for cardiac stereo-morphological study and definition of spatial location and size of cardiac abnormalities.
