Sulfonyl‐tethered N‐containing heterocycles are valuable building blocks in synthetic and pharmaceutical chemistry. Recently, the installation of fluoroalkanesulfonyl groups into heterocycles via the difunctionalization of alkenes still remains challenging. Herein in this work, an imino‐fluoroalkanesulfonylation of γ,δ‐unsaturated oxime esters has been achieved via photoredox/Cu dual catalysis. A variety of fluoroalkanesulfonyl‐tethered pyrroline derivatives have been readily synthesized in moderate to good yields under mild conditions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A novel transition‐metal‐free iminotrifluoromethylation of unsaturated oxime esters has been achieved through Rhodamine B photoredox catalysis under mild conditions. This methodology provides facile access to various CF3‐tethered pyrroline derivatives in high efficiency. A mild and highly efficient Cu‐catalyzed cascade cyclization/thiocyanation of unactivated alkenes bearing hydrazones has been developed. A broad range of SCN‐substituted pyrazolines have been readily obtained in good to excellent yields with commercially available and very cheap Cu(acac)2 and NH4SCN. Diamination of olefins presents a powerful strategy to access vicinal diamines. During the last decade, metal-catalyzed diamination of olefins has received considerable attention. This study describes an efficient sequential diamination and dehydrogenation process of terminal olefins with CuBr as catalyst and di-tert-butyldiaziridinone as nitrogen source, providing a facile and viable approach to a variety of imidazolin-2-ones, which are important structural motifs present in various biologically active molecules.
