Search

Research has been conducted on the octahedral hexanuclear cluster halides of the transition metals. The low temperature solid-state approaches to these compounds carried out via the reduction of TaCl (sub)5 with gallium and gallium dichloride have been investigated and the results are reported.

Research has been conducted on the ruthenium(II)- and ruthenium(III)-chloride-dimethyl sulfoxide precursors and the antimetasatic drug [ImH][trans-RuCl (sub)4 (dmso-S)] (Im= imidazole, dmso= dimethyl sulfoxide). The reactivity of these compounds toward nitric oxide has been studied and the details are reported.

Research has been conducted on fluorocarbonyl sulfenyl chloride, methylfluorocarbonyl disulfide and bis(fluorocarbonyl) trisulfide. The photoelectron spectroscopy study of these compounds and the results of the molecular orbital analysis and ionization energy calculations are presented.

Research has been conducted on the hydrogen chloride. The computational results of the hydrogen chloride elimination from Cl (sub)3 GaNH (sub)3 and intermediates' gas-phase polymerization are presented.

Research has been conducted on the sterically bulky, dimeric diethylamido-bridged gallium hydride. The synthesis of this compound and related chloride derivatives and the studies of the preliminary chemical vapor deposition have been carried out and are discussed.

Research has been conducted on the N-centered cluster solid Zr (sub)6 Cl (sub)15 N. The excision of this cluster and the isolation of the N-centered hexazirconium chloride cluster complexes have been carried out and the results are reported.

Research has been conducted on the nitrogen-rich compounds. The possibility of the evidence for the pentazole compound with the highest nitrogen content has been investigated and the results are reported.

Research has been conducted on the reaction between Cl (sub)2 and ClO (sub)2 (super)-. The kinetics and mechanism of this reaction have been investigated in acetate buffer via the stopped-flow spectrometric observations of ClO (sub)2 formation and the results are reported.

Research has been conducted on the layered double hydroxides with a cation position of LiAl (sub)2 which have a lot of applications including lithium aluminate phases. The calcination behavior of this group of the layered double hydroxide phases has been investigated and the results of the X-ray diffraction exploring the thermal evolution of the chloride that contains the LiAl (sub)2 layered double hydroxide compound are presented.

Research has been conducted on the dinuclear (phosphine)gold(I) complexes of the ambidentate 1,3,4-thiadiazoledithiolate ligand. The preparation of these complexes from the corresponding (phosphine)gold(I) chlorides and K (sub)2 (SSS) in methanol is reported.

Research has been conducted on the macrocyclic molecule calix[4]arene. The preparation of the mono- and tetraisocyanocalix[4]arene and their gold(II) chloride complexes is reported.

Research has been conducted on the (7,13-dimethyl-2,3,8,12,17,18-hexaethylcorrolato)iron chloride complex. The formation of this complex with the cyanide ion in dimethylformamide has been investigated via the (super)1 NMR spectroscopy and the results are presented.

Research has been conducted on the Ti (super)2+ -doped NaCl and MgCl (sub)2. The photophysical properties of these compounds have been compared at 15 K, and the results indicate that both materials emit luminescence from their lowest excited states.

Research has been conducted on the racemic and meso diastereomers of a binucleating tetraphosphine ligand system. The reaction of these diastereomers with NiCl (sub)2 .6H (sub)2 O in EtOH has been examined and the results indicate the production of the rac-Ni (sub)2 Cl (sub)4 and meso-Ni (sub)2 Cl (sub)4 which allow the isolation of each bimetallic complex.

Research has been conducted on the halogen-transfer agent tungsten hexachloride which produces tungsten oxo fragment and salicoyl chloride via the reaction with the salicylic acid. The origin of the ubiquitous oxo ligands and the reaction pathways generating these oxo products have been investigated and the results are reported.

Research has been conducted on the diazine-bridged dinuclaer transition metal complex. The synthesis, structure and physical properties of the N,N'-bis(salicylidene) (super)2- -hydrazine-bridged diruthenium(III) complex have been examined and the results indicate that N,N'-bis(salicylidene) (super)2- has a configuration close to cis.

The article discusses hydrothermal preparation of the lanthanide and yttrium carboxyethylphosphonates from the 1:1 mixture of carboxyethylphosphonic acid and the metal chlorides. Praesodymium compound crystal structure determined ab initio from X-ray powder diffraction data is analyzed.

Research has been conducted on the three-dimensional oxychlorides. The synthesis of these isostructural materials carried out via the chemical transport reactions using TeO (sub)2, M (sub)2 O (sub)5 and MCl (sub)5 (M= Nb (super)5+ or Ta (super)5+) is described.

The PCl (sub)3 -insertion reaction into the cluster of arachno-[4,5-C (sub)2 B (sub)7 H (sub)12] (super)- generating triphosphacarboranes nido-7,8,9,10-C (sub)4 B (sub)7 H (sub)11 which contains three cage-phosphorus atoms is described.
