Abstract

Presents a study which investigated the average local structure and chemistry about tantalum , platinum and cobalt atoms and the average magnetic moment of the cobalt and chromium atoms within cobalt chromium tantalum and cobalt chromium plutonium films. Measurement of the polarization dependent extended x-ray absorption fine structure and magnetic circular dichroism of the films; Results and discussion; Conclusions.
