Abstract

メソゲン基を有する4, 4'-ビス [ω- (2-ヒドロキシエトキシ) エトキシ] ビフェニル (BHEBm) あるいは4, 4'-ビス [ω- (2-ヒドロキシエトキシ) エトキシ] ベンジリデンアニリン (BHEBAm) とメトキシホスホロジクロリデート (MPDC) から液晶性ポリリン酸エステルの合成を行った. その結果, 得られたポリマーは収率73～82%で, 極限粘度 [η] =0.18～0.23の高分子量体であった. また液晶性については示差走査熱量計 (DSC), 偏光顕微鏡観察およびX線回折からスメクチック相を形成するエナンチオトロピックな液晶であることが確認できた.
