Acompanha: Sequência didática interativa para o ensino de doenças epidêmicas Esta pesquisa apresenta uma abordagem teórico-metodológica pautada na teoria Histórico-Cultural da Aprendizagem e na Pedagogia Histórico-Crítica. De natureza qualitativa, sob o viés da pesquisa-ação, tem por objetivo investigar o processo de aprendizagem de conceitos científicos sobre doenças epidêmicas. O estudo conta com oito estudantes do Ensino Fundamental II (sétimo ano), de uma escola pública de Londrina/PR. Tem como objeto de investigação a atividade mediada da professora-pesquisadora. Para realizar o estudo, foi construído um produto educacional, organizado como uma Sequência Didática Interativa (SDI), seguindo os cinco passos estabelecidos por Gasparin (2012). A SDI contém diversas atividades e instrumentos que permitem identificar, conhecer e aplicar os conceitos científicos de forma dialógica. Entre eles destacam-se o vídeo fílmico, atividades de resolução de problemas, Podcast e outros materiais didáticos de apoio para manter a comunicação entre os estudantes e a professora e destes com o conteúdo, como o portfólio e o aplicativo WhatsApp. Esses instrumentos permitiram a mediação docente atuar no desenvolvimento dos trabalhos em grupo, na aplicação constante dos signos e na reflexão contínua sobre o tema estudado. A pesquisa foi realizada durante13 encontros, em período de contraturno, no ano de 2015. Para a leitura dos dados foi utilizada a técnica da Análise do Conteúdo, de Laurence Bardin (2011), e a teoria Histórico-Cultural da Aprendizagem, de Vigotski. Os resultados da investigação indicam que o produto educacional SDI teve seus objetivos atingidos em vista da mediação docente, ao atuar no Nível de Desenvolvimento Potencial dos estudantes conduzindo instrumentos e signos, desde seu planejamento de ensino à execução das atividades, permitindo aos estudantes identificarem, definirem e empregarem os conceitos científicos, culminando com a internalização dos mesmos. Conclui-se que a prática Histórico-Cultural da Aprendizagem proporciona apreensão dos conceitos científicos por favorecer a compreensão da realidade estudada, e que o emprego da Sequência Didática Interativa permite que o conhecimento histórico-cultural seja viabilizado, tornando o conteúdo contextualizado, contribuindo, assim, também, para a formação de conceitos científicos. This research presents a theoretical and methodological approach guided in the Histórico-Cultural Theory of Learning and Historical-Critical Pedagogy.Of a qualitative nature, under the bias of action-research, aims at investigating the learning process of the formation of scientific concepts about epidemic diseases, considering the social practice of the subjects involved in the process. The study has eight students of elementary school II(seventh year), of a public school in Londrina/PR. It has as object of investigation the mediated activity of the teacher-researcher. For the study, it was built an educational product, organized as an Interactive Didactic Sequence Interactive (IDS), following the five steps set by Gasparin (2012). The IDS contains various activities and instruments that allows identify, understand and apply the scientific concepts of dialogic form. Among them, are highlighted the filmic video, problem solving activities, Podcast and or teaching support materials to maintain the communication between the students and the teacher and those with content, such as portfolio and WhatsApp application, these instruments allowed teaching mediation work in the development of group work, in the constant application of signs and continuous reflection on the subject studied. The research was conducted for thirteen meetings, in the period of extracurricular activities, during 2015. To read the data was used the technique of Content Analysis, by Laurence Bardin (2011), and the Histórico-Cultural Theory of Learning, by Vygotsky. The investigation results indicate that the IDS educational product had its goals achieved in view of the teaching mediation, on act on the potential level of development of students, leading instruments and signs, since its educational planning to the execution of activities, allowing students to identify, define and employ the scientific concepts, culminating with the internalization of them.It is concluded that the Histórico-Cultural practice Learning provides apprehension of scientific concepts by promoting understanding of the reality studied, and that the use of interactive didactic sequence allows the historical and cultural knowledge to be made possible, making the content contextualized, thus, contributing also for the formation of scientific concepts.

Acompanha: Dupla-hélice: a construção de um conhecimento A presente análise abordou a relevância da História da Ciência para a prática da Educação em Ciência, de modo mais específico para a aprendizagem no Ensino Médio na disciplina de Biologia, considerando significativa a ideia de que a aprendizagem em ciência, isto é, sobre as dimensões históricas, filosóficas e culturais da ciência (MONK; OSBORNE, 1997) são emergentes para a educação científica. Em vista da escassez de materiais contendo episódios históricos filosóficos que permitem realizar uma transposição didática, faz-se necessário a construção de textos contendo a História da Ciência que desempenha um papel fundamental na elaboração do conceito do DNA no Ensino Médio. A elaboração do texto “Dupla hélice: A construção de um conhecimento” contendo a evolução histórica do modelo da dupla hélice na versão e-book como produto educacional, pode auxiliar na concepção do conceito do DNA no Ensino Médio. Neste contexto, buscou-se fundamentos à discussão das necessidades formativas do professor do referido ensino e nível de escolaridade. Analisou-se aspectos sobre a visão e concepções de ciências e a inserção da história e filosofia da ciência na prática pedagógica dos professores de Biologia. Apresentou-se o percurso metodológico da pesquisa, partindo do delineamento básico da pesquisa (problema, questões norteadoras, objetivos, objeto e sujeitos da pesquisa e produto educacional) para depois situar a perspectiva teórico-metodológica adotada, para a apreensão da pesquisa. Elegeu-se o estudo qualitativo para nortear a pesquisa, os questionários e a entrevista como técnica para coleta de dados. Concluímos, conforme a análise dos dados fornecidos pelos sujeitos da pesquisa, que o e-book contendo episódio histórico filosófico é um dispositivo didático útil para tornar o ensino médio mais interessante, possibilitando a aprendizagem de conceitos complexos da biologia, como o DNA. Outro ponto a ressaltar é que episódios históricos contribuem no processo da construção do conhecimento de maneira gradativa e lenta, promovendo uma visão concreta real da Natureza da Ciência com seus métodos, técnicas, modelos, acertos e erros, promovendo a formação de um cidadão crítico mediante o conhecimento científico. Para tanto, a necessidade de capacitação de professores para a utilização do material foi percebida por meio das análises. This analysis addressed the relevance of the History of Science for the practice of science education, more specifically for learning in high school in biology discipline, considering significant the idea that learning in science, that is, about the dimensions historical, philosophical and cultural science (MONK; OSBORNE, 1997) are emerging for science education. In view of the shortage of materials containing philosophical historical episodes that allow you to perform a didactic transposition, the construction of texts it is necessary containing the history of science which plays a key role in preparing the DNA of the concept in high school. The drafting of the text "Double Helix: The construction of knowledge" containing the historical evolution of the model of the double helix in the e-book version as an educational product, can assist in the design DNA of the concept in high school. In this context, it sought to foundations to discuss the training needs teacher of that school and education level. Analyzed aspects of the vision and ideas of science and the inclusion of the history and philosophy of science in the teaching practice of teacher Biology. He presented the methodology of the survey route, starting from basic research design (problem, guiding questions, goals , object and subject of research and educational product) and then place the theoretical and methodological perspective adopted for the seizure of the research. The qualitative study was elected to guide the research, questionnaires and interview as a technique for data collection. We conclude, as the analysis of data provided by the research subjects, the e-book containing philosophical historical episode is a didactic device useful for making high school more interesting, enabling learning complex concepts of biology, such as DNA. Another point to emphasize is that historical episodes contribute in the process of construction of knowledge gradually and slowly, promoting a real concrete vision of Nature of Science with their methods, techniques, models, hits and misses, promoting the formation of a critical citizen by scientific knowledge. Therefore, the need for teacher training for the use of the material was perceived through the analysis.

Acompanha: Glossário de termos biológicos em língua brasileira de sinais (GBLI) No processo de ensino-aprendizagem de alunos surdos, em especial no ensino de biologia, muitos tradutores intérpretes de libras e professores regentes, em razão da carência de sinais específicos de diversas áreas do conhecimento na língua de sinais, têm dificuldades em transmitir ideias e conceitos específicos, o que gera incompreensão e perda na agilidade de transferência de informações (SOUZA; SILVEIRA, 2011). Diante disso, alguns alunos surdos de um colégio da região norte do Paraná, motivados por um espírito empreendedor e auxiliados por professores de biologia e intérpretes de libras, empenharam-se em dicionarizar os principais termos de biologia presentes em livros didáticos do ensino médio. Esta dissertação apresenta a avaliação e aplicação de uma ferramenta de apoio (glossário de libras) no ensino de biologia do ensino médio para alunos surdos. Os objetivos específicos da pesquisa foram: identificar as dificuldades no ensino de biologia para alunos surdos, determinar a carência de sinais no ensino de biologia para os alunos surdos do ensino médio, propor para a comunidade de alunos surdos e professores de biologia do ensino médio um conjunto de sinais que pudesse contribuir para o processo de ensino-aprendizagem, avaliar a adequação dos sinais propostos ao cotidiano da sala de aula e apresentar à comunidade do ensino médio um glossário de libras para a área de biologia. Os estudos bibliográficos contemplados nesta pesquisa foram histórico da educação de surdos, estrutura linguística da língua de sinais e restrições para a formação de novos sinais, as necessidades de termos científicos específicos para o ensino e aprendizagem de alunos surdos e o empreendedorismo e sua relação no meio educacional. Para coleta de dados utilizou-se questionários abertos e fechados com professores regentes de biologia e alunos surdos do ensino médio de um colégio estadual do norte do Paraná. Os resultados obtidos por meio da pesquisa qualitativa e quantitativa demonstraram a real necessidade de um produto educacional que favorecesse a aprendizagem de termos científicos-biológicos em libras. In the process of teaching and learning of deaf students, especially in biology teaching, many sign language translators-interpreters and school teachers find difficulties to convey specific ideas and concepts, which create misunderstanding and loss of information transfer agility (SOUZA; SILVEIRA, 2011). This is due to lack of specific signals from different areas of knowledge in sign language. Therefore, some deaf students from a school in the northern region of Paraná, motivated by an entrepreneurial spirit and aided by biology teachers and sign language interpreters, endeavored to dictionarize the main terms of biology present in teaching high school books. This work presents the evaluation and application of a support tool (sign language glossary) in teaching high school biology to deaf students. The specific objectives of the research were to identify the difficulties in teaching biology to deaf students, determine the lack of signs in biology education for the deaf high school students, proposing to the community of deaf students and high school biology teachers a set of signs that could contribute to the process of teaching and learning, assessing the adequacy of signs proposed to the classroom everyday and submit to the high school community a sign language glossary for the biology area. The theoretical basis of this research consisted in the history of deaf education in the linguistic structure of sign language and restrictions on the formation of new signs, the needs of specific scientific terms for teaching and learning of deaf students and the entrepreneurship and its relationship in the educational environment. For data collection, it was used open and closed questionnaires with biology school teachers and deaf high school students from a state school in northern Paraná. The results obtained through a qualitative and quantitative research demonstrated the real need for an educational product that favors the learning of scientific / biological terms in sign language.

The concept of biological evolution was selected for this study because it is considered a unifying concept and structuring of biological knowledge. By understanding the process of didactic transposition of the concept of biological evolution substantially tangent social, cultural and epistemological instances, we adopt the KVP model (Knowledge (K), values (V) and Social Practices (P) of didactic transposition) to guide the analysis data. In this context, the general objective of the research is to investigate indicative of the didactic transposition of the concept of biological evolution, since the levels of scientific production to the processes of teaching and learning process of basic education. To do so, the implementation process has led us to investigate the concept of biological evolution present in the last five years in two Brazilian scientific journals that discuss epistemological aspects of biology; clarify the research on biological evolution in textbooks of secondary education and research on conceptions of biological evolution of biology teachers (Higher and Secondary Education) as well as those on conceptions of biological evolution of Basic Education students - always by bank analysis of theses and dissertations of capes. Furthermore, we analyzed the National Curriculum Guidelines for courses in Biological Sciences, in order to verify that introduce the concept of biological evolution as a unifying element of biology, and the role that the concept of biological evolution assumes the National Curricular Parameters for High School to thus identify similarities and differences of scientific knowledge about biological evolution and knowledge built in the context of the classroom. The work consisted in a survey of state of the art, conducted by analysis of PCNEM, the Curriculum Guidelines for courses in biological sciences, dissertation and thesis database Capes and scientific journals that discuss epistemological aspects of biology. The results of our research show that the academic production of knowledge Wise (TDE), referring to biological evolution, presents both discussions regarding the construction of the synthetic theory of evolution as elements of pre-synthesis and post-synthesis. As for more contemporary discussions, proposing the expansion of the synthetic theory of evolution, it has notes about evo-devo, epigenetics, plasticity and phenotypic xi accommodation, niche construction, multilevel selection and exaptations. Recent discussions suggest overcoming the genecentrista vision and uniqueness of natural selection as an explanatory foundation for the evolutionary process. However, research indicated that there is a delay period of relatively large didactic transposition between the expanded discussions of concepts such as evolution, epigenetics and gene and inserting these concepts in school curricula and textbooks. In additio A produção científica realizada nas múltiplas vertentes da ciência defronta-se com uma problemática significativa que é a seleção, a adaptação ou reformulação do conhecimento produzido pelos cientistas de modo a torná-lo acessível ao ensino. O conceito de evolução biológica foi selecionado para esta pesquisa por ser considerado um conceito unificador e estruturante do conhecimento biológico. Ao entender que o processo de transposição didática do conceito de evolução biológica tangencia substancialmente instâncias sociais, culturais e epistemológicas, adotamos o modelo KVP (Conhecimento (K), Valores (V) e Práticas Sociais (P) de transposição didática) para guiar a análise dos dados. Nesse contexto, o objetivo geral da pesquisa é investigar indicativos do processo de transposição didática do conceito de evolução biológica, desde os níveis de produção científica até os processos de ensino e aprendizagem da Educação Básica. Para tanto, o processo de execução nos levou a investigar sobre o conceito de evolução biológica presentes nos últimos cinco anos em duas revistas científicas brasileiras que discutem aspectos epistemológicos da biologia; a explicitar as pesquisas realizadas sobre evolução biológica em livros didáticos do Ensino Médio e as pesquisas realizadas sobre concepções de evolução biológica de professores de biologia (Ensino Superior e Médio) bem como aquelas sobre concepções de evolução biológica de alunos da Educação Básica sempre mediante a análise do banco de teses e dissertações da capes. Além disso, analisamos as Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais para os cursos de Ciências Biológicas, de modo a verificar se apresentam o conceito de evolução biológica como elemento unificador da biologia, e o papel que o conceito de evolução biológica assume nos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais para o Ensino Médio para, assim, identificarmos aproximações e distanciamentos do conhecimento científico sobre evolução biológica e os saberes construídos no contexto de sala de aula. O trabalho constituiu-se em uma pesquisa de Estado da Arte, realizada mediante a análise dos PCNEM, das Diretrizes Curriculares para os cursos de ciências biológicas, do banco de teses e dissertação da Capes e de revistas científicas que abordam aspectos epistemológicos da biologia. Os resultados de nossa pesquisa demonstram que a produção acadêmica do Saber Sábio (TDE), referente à evolução biológica, apresenta tanto de discussões referentes à construção da teoria sintética da evolução como elementos ix de períodos pré-síntese e pós-síntese. Quanto às discussões mais contemporâneas, que propõe a expansão da teoria sintética da evolução, tem-se apontamentos sobre a evo-devo, epigenética, plasticidade e acomodação fenotípica, construção de nicho, seleção multiníveis e exaptações. As discussões mais recentes propõem a superação da visão genecentrista e a exclusividade da seleção natural como fundamento explicativo para o processo evolutivo. Entretanto, a pesquisa indicou que há um período de demora da transposição didática relativamente grande entre as discussões ampliadas de conceitos como evolução, gene e epigenética e a inserção desses conceitos nos programas de ensino e nos manuais didáticos. Além disso, há limitações na apresentação da teoria sintética da evolução nos manuais didáticos e na prática de ensino dos docentes.
