This bibliography lists articles and reviews of books relevant to Palestine and the Arab-Israeli conflict from the quarter 16 November-15 February 2018. Entries are classified under the following headings: Reference and General; History (through 1948) and Geography; Palestinian Politics and Society; Jerusalem; Israeli Politics, Society, and Zionism; Arab and Middle Eastern Politics; International Relations; Law; Military; Economy, Society, and Education; Literature, Arts, and Culture; and Book Reviews.

The paper gives a bibliographical description of a full set of the first wave emigré journal “Russian Annals” contents. The introduction provides a general characteristic of the periodical and briefly presents the journal’s editor M.N. Pavlovskii. It draws a sketch of the journal’s history main landmarks, which can be neatly divided in two divergent periods with different editorial boards. The foreword describes also the particularities of the everyday editorial business under the circumstances of the publisher’s residence in Shanghai and the editorial board members’ habitation in Paris. Finally, the table of contents’ structure features are displayed.

The book Human Fraternity discusses peace and tranquility among different societies and strengthening them. The author of the book, the late Seyyed Abdollah Entezam Vaziri (1895-1983), is one of the officials of the second Pahlavi period. He wrote the book after the outbreak of two world wars. The devastation and tragedy of the two world wars led to the writing of the book. The book was first published non-scientifically during the life of Entezam (before 1983) and then in April 2021 the publications of Miras-e Farhikhteganby Mansour Rashidi and Ali Ghanbarian published it scientifically and coherently in Iran. Entezam Vaziri was a culture-lover figure and has several books and articles. In the present article, the book Human Fraternity in 2 parts (part one: the structure of the book and part two: the study of the text of the book) is introduced, described, and reviewed.

A paper on the occasion of the 75th birthday of Terry Lee Erwin (1940–2020), an outstanding biologist and founding Editor-in-Chief of ZooKeys, was published in 2015 and contained complete lists of Erwin’s publications, patronyms (taxa named after him) and new taxa published by him. The present paper aims to complement these lists with all new information published after 2015, including the papers in the present special issue of ZooKeys dedicated to the blessed memory of Terry Lee Erwin.

Selected Bibliography of Works by Jan Křen

This selected bibliography consists of recent published biographical works on Olive Schreiner, literary criticism and multi-disciplinary studies of her writings by South African writers and critics from 1994 until 2019. A few works by foreign writers in South African book publications and literary journals have also been included. This bibliography has been drawn from the collection of the Amazwi South African Museum of Literature in Makhanda. The article is devoted to the memory of Irina Yurievna Fomenko (April 4, 1953 — May 30, 2020), philologist and book critic, the leading researcher in the Research Scientific Department of Rare Books (Book Museum) of the Russian State Library, responsible editor of four volumes of the “Union catalogue of Russian books. 1801—1825”. The authors give brief biography of I.Y. Fomenko, summarize information about her 150 scientific publications, which reflect the domestic publishing repertoire of the first quarter of the 19th century, relate to various aspects of working with early printed books, the subtleties of bibliographic description and book annotation. I.Y. Fomenko studied the creative heritage of M.N. Muravyev and defended PhD thesis on his prose. She wrote a number of articles for the Dictionary of Russian writers of the 18th century. With her participation, there were created catalogues of books of civil press and private owner’s collections from various holdings. Biographies of Russian writers of the 18th — 19th centuries, written by I.Y. Fomenko, were included in the collection of Russian literary studies.

The article examines scientific and auxiliary bibliographic manuals, which reflect the publications of the art historian of Uzbekistan, academician G. A. Pugachenkova. Employees of the Institute of Art Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan are working on the creation of bibliographic collections, in which specialists can find information about all publications of scientists. These biobibliographic indexes keep track of all printed products of specialists from the first articles of the scientist to the fundamental scientific publications of the given author. The article analyzes the principles of selection and the order of placing major scientific works in the bibliographic index. Such bibliographic aids make it possible to trace the dynamics of changes in the scientific interests of a scientist, to consider his involvement in the study of the field of knowledge to which his publications are devoted, to reveal his creative and scientific contacts.

The paper presents a bibliography of the publications of Professor Stanislav Jindřich Kavka (1946 2015), a renowned Czech Anglicist and comparative linguist. The bibliography was compiled on the occasion of what would have been the year of his 75th birthday. It is meant to serve as a modest contribution to the history of English studies in Central Europe.

This publication is the second and third parts of the bibliography of the famous poet, playwright, critic, translator Nikolai Minsky (1855/1856–1937). The second part reflects individual poetry collections, religious and philosophical works and collections of articles by Minsky, as well as his plays, letters, memoirs and translations. In a separate section, it was decided to allocate essays and reports published in the newspaper “Utro Rossii” for 1909–1917 and published under the headings “Letters from Paris” and “Paris (French) Diary”. This part of the bibliography is annotated. The abstracts contain a complete list of lifetime reviews and critical responses, and, if necessary, briefly disclose the content of the publications. The third part contains a bibliography of scientific critical literature about Minsky, as well as information about the publication of the memoirs, diaries and letters of contemporaries, which, in the compiler’s opinion, contain valuable information about Minsky’s life and work. A separate section of the bibliography presents reference books containing biographical articles on Minsky’s life and work. The third part also includes editions of theses about Minsky, defended mainly in 1990–2020.

The published materials constitute an experience of the bibliographical review in Russian-language scientific researches on interaction domestic literature and journalism in pre-revolutionary epoch (predominantly – 1900–1917 years). The list is by no means closed and exhaustive, but basic. A necessary prerequisite for its preparation became the identification and the recording of works which reflect the most significant aspects of the stated theme in the implementation large-scale project “Russian Literature and Journalism in Pre-revolutionary Epoch: Form of Interaction and Analysis Methodology”. At the same time the list may have an independent heuristic value for specialists, involved in indicated period who need to apeal to magazine and newspaper periodicals, which role in the socio-political and cultural life at the turn of the century is great. For ease of reference proposed list consist of five sections: monographs and digests; articles; reference publications; the thesis; educational literature. Meanwhile for digests which are collective monographs on our topic, a complete list of contents is given. In other cases thematically related publications are included in common section with articles from scientific periodicals. Inside of the every section positions are in alphabetical order. Outside the scope of this list are ego-documents (reminiscences, memoirs, diaries, memoirs, letters) and archival sources, on which, due to their large quantity, individual publications are being prepared.
