Before the introduction of the folksonomic outlook, users were not involved in systems for representing information and knowledge. These were the technical and epistemological responsibility of indexers and of classification systems, which should be evaluated by virtue of a series of requirements, which many times were far from their own knowledge systems. Web 1.0 depends on these guidelines, but the next Web 2.0 and others that may arise in the future should be committed to certain prescriptions of the sociocognitive paradigm, especially those supporting the representation of particular knowledge of specific domains, so a cultural diversity in representation systems is demanded to guarantee that digital objects can really meet needs, help connect the resources and do not succumb due to the high levels of noise and silence the web of webs is currently suffering from. Turning hypermedia services into ecological services poses the challenge of providing contents that can meet the sociocognitive and cultural needs of users, so strategies for organization and representation should continue to be formulated from the regeneration of wisdom of users and creators.
