The article discusses a study abroad opportunity that is provided to undergraduate students at Hofstra University who are interested in European public policy. Students visit 11 countries in 10 weeks and fill their time by interviewing policy makers, journalists, or citizens, taking classes on the road, and doing required reading. Student Katlyn Maze said that the visit to the Terezin concentration camp in the Czech Republic was the most powerful thing that she experienced. Dr. Linda A. Longmire is the director of the program and says that it provides many opportunities for learning.
