In 2020, Olia et al. [Olia, Z. E. D. D., Gordji, M. E. and Bagha, D. E. (2020). Banach fixed point theorem on orthogonal cone metric spaces. FACTA Universitatis (NIS) Ser. Math. Inform, 35, 1239-1250] examined orthogonal cone metric spaces. They assumed that P is a normal cone with normal constant K and that self mapping T is orthogonal continuous on the orthogonal cone metric space X in their study. This study now presentes certain required definitions on orthogonal cone metric spaces that were not previously given in [9]. The examples that show the link between existing and new definitions have also been included. The results are also generalized by eliminating the normalcy condition and utilizing point orthogonal continuity instead of general orthogonal continuity in the major results of [9]. The fundamental finding of the study is then generalized by removing the requirement of orthogonal continuity and introducing normality. Let L be a truncated Archimedean vector lattice whose truncation is denoted by *. In a recent paper, we proved that there exists a locally compact Hausdorff space X such that L is a lattice isomorphic with a truncated vector lattice of functions in C∞(X) whose truncation is provided by meet with some characteristic function on X. This representation, no matter how interesting it is, has a major drawback, namely, C∞(X) need not be a vector lattice, unless X is extremally disconnected. The famous Ascoli-Arzelà theorem served as a springboard for research into compactness in function spaces, particularly spaces of continuous functions. This paper investigates compact subsets of spaces of continuous functions endowed with topologies between the topology of pointwise convergence and the topology of uniform convergence. More precisely, this paper studies necessary and sufficient conditions for a subset to be compact in Cλ,u(X) for a locally-λ space X when λ ⊇ 퓕(X), for a hemi- λ λf-space X when λ ⊆ 퓟 퓢(X), and for a k-space X when λ ⊇ 퓚(X). Konstantin Tsiolkovsky famously stated that while the Earth serves as the birthplace of humanity, it is not a place where mankind can indefinitely remain. Perhaps during that period, the prospect of exploring the mysteries of outer space appeared to be an unattainable aspiration. However, in the present day, there are no longer any limitations, not even the sky, since human ingenuity has facilitated access to outer space for humanity. This access is not just for the purposes of research and exploration but also for economic endeavours. Until now, the commercial utilisation of outer space has advanced at a very sluggish rate. However, firms including SpaceX, Orion Span, Virgin Galactic, and Blue Origin have achieved significant advancements in the growth of the space industry. The revenue generated by various space-related endeavours has experienced a significant 73% increase over the last ten years. The global space economy, estimated to be valued at USD one trillion in the coming years, is primarily driven by commercial activities. This presents a formidable challenge to the existing national and international taxation systems. Similar to the open seas, space is also considered res communis omnium, meaning it belongs to the entire community, and presents comparable taxing challenges with potentially uncertain solutions. The three fundamental elements of every taxation regulation, such as the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development or the United Nations Model Double Taxation Convention, are the taxpayer's place of residence, the origin of their income, and the methods by which they generate their money. The current tax system does not have the necessary concepts and provisions to adapt to the rapid advancements in commercial space technology. This paper examines the legal issues surrounding commercial activities conducted in space, including the nature and handling of the income generated in various legal systems. Until recently space travel was considered a privilege of governmental astronauts, with the exception perhaps of a few billionaire space tourists, who had been accommodated on the International Space Station on some rare occasions. Nonetheless, with major space pioneers announcing plans for space tourism activities and after the successful launch in orbit of space tourism vehicles from the Virgin Galactic and Blue Origin companies, academic interest about human spaceflight for purposes of leisure and recreation has ignited. Taking into account that space tourism is in fact an unregulated activity, this paper will firstly examine whether space tourism activities fall under the scope of space law or under the scope of international air law, depending on the planned trajectory of the space tourism vehicle. Furthermore, the authors will attempt to draw conclusions concerning the legal implications of space tourism activities through a comparative analysis with the 1974 Athens Convention on the Carriage of Passengers and the Carriage of their Luggage by Sea. This international convention provides a great example on the regulation of touristic ventures, as it refers to commercial touristic activities realized within a res communis omnium , i. e., the high seas, similarly with touristic activities in space. Moreover, said Convention provides for a specialized regime for touristic activities and is of particular interest, since it has achieved stability and a desirable balance of interests between private tourism operators and passengers. In this connection, the authors will evaluate the provisions of the 1974 Athens Convention in comparison with the space treaties applicable to space tourism activities. Gálvez-Carrillo et al. [Decomposition spaces, incidence algebras and Möbius inversion III: The decomposition space of Möbius intervals, Adv. Math. 334 (2018) 544–584] constructed a decomposition space U of all Möbius intervals, as a recipient of Lawvere's interval construction for Möbius categories, and conjectured that U enjoys a certain universal property: for every Möbius decomposition space X , the space of culf functors from X to U is contractible. In this paper, we work at the level of homotopy 1-types to prove the first case of the conjecture, namely for locally discrete decomposition spaces. This provides also the first substantial evidence for the general conjecture. This case is general enough to cover all locally finite posets, Cartier–Foata monoids, Möbius categories and strict (directed) restriction species. The proof is 2-categorical. First, we construct a local strict model of U , which is then used to show by hand that the Lawvere interval construction, considered as a natural transformation, does not admit other self-modifications than the identity. Inspired by locale theory, pointfree convex geometry was first proposed and studied by Yoshihiro Maruyama. In this paper, we shall continue to his work and investigate the related topics on pointfree convex spaces. Concretely, the following results are obtained: (1) A Hofmann–Lawson-like duality for pointfree convex spaces is established. (2) The M -injective objects in the category of S 0 -convex spaces are proved precisely to be sober convex spaces, where M is the class of strict maps of convex spaces; (3) A convex space X is sober iff there never exists a nontrivial identical embedding i : X ↪ Y such that its dualization is an isomorphism, and a convex space X is S D iff there never exists a nontrivial identical embedding k : Y ↪ X such that its dualization is an isomorphism. (4) A dual adjunction between the category CLat D of continuous lattices with continuous D-homomorphisms and the category CS D of S D -convex spaces with CP-maps is constructed, which can further induce a dual equivalence between CS D and a subcategory of CLat D ; (5) The relationship between the quotients of a continuous lattice L and the convex subspaces of cpt (L) is investigated and the collection Alg (Q (L)) of all algebraic quotients of L is proved to be an algebraic join-sub-complete lattice of Q (L) of all quotients of L, where cpt (L) denote the set of non-bottom compact elements of L. Furthermore, it is shown that Alg (Q (L)) is isomorphic to the collection Sob (P (cpt (L))) of all sober convex subspaces of cpt (L) ; (6) Several necessary and sufficient conditions for all convex subspaces of cpt (L) to be sober are presented. In the paper [ The Teichmüller theory of harmonic maps , J. Differential Geom. 29 (1989), no. 2, 449–479], Wolf provided a global coordinate system of the Teichmüller space of a closed oriented surface S with the vector space of holomorphic quadratic differentials on a Riemann surface X homeomorphic to S. This coordinate system is via harmonic maps from the Riemann surface X to hyperbolic surfaces. Moreover, he gave a compactification of the Teichmüller space by adding a point at infinity to each endpoint of harmonic map rays starting from X in the space. Wolf also showed this compactification coincides with the Thurston compactification. Let A and B be two nonempty subsets of a normed space X, and let T : A ∪ B → A ∪ B be a cyclic (resp., noncyclic) mapping. The objective of this paper is to establish weak conditions on T that ensure its relative nonexpansiveness. The idea is to recover the results mentioned in two papers by Matkowski (Banach J. Math. Anal. 2:237–244, 2007; J. Fixed Point Theory Appl. 24:70, 2022), by replacing the nonexpansive mapping f : C → C with a cyclic (resp., noncyclic) relatively nonexpansive mapping to obtain the best proximity pair. Purpose: This paper aims to discuss the complexities and foresight of Mars colonization. There are many pioneers competing in a space race to Mars, for example, Elon Musk – SpaceX, Jeff Bezos – Blue Origin and Richard Branson – Virgin Orbit. The analyses are focused on the aerospace industry – the process of space adventures to Mars. Design/methodology/approach: This study offers new methodological approaches – the development of a complexity metric and system innovation mode – to analyze how the complexities relate to the systemic nature of innovation. The complexity metric and system innovation model can be applied in various industries. These analysis tools can help gain insights into the strategies for achieving the diffusion of commercial space. Findings: The analyses of findings have shown that, despite various attempts among the pioneers in a space race to colonize Mars (Elon Musk – SpaceX, Jeff Bezos – Blue Origin and Richard Branson – Virgin Orbit, among others), the aerospace industry has not yet reached a stage of commercialization. The commercial space to Mars is of low systemic nature at present. Many companies compete in a space race to develop technologies on a proprietary basis. However, the highest complexity level suggests a multinational and intergovernmental collaboration to achieve economies of scale and economies of scope as well as accelerate the process of technology diffusion – successful commercial space for the interplanetary settlement. Originality/value: The main contribution that shows originality and value of this paper is the development of a complexity metric and system innovation model which can be used to explore how the complexities relate to the systemic nature of innovation and how they relate to the strategies in managing technological innovations. In this paper, we study the behavior of some classes of topological spaces under the influence of the functor of G-permutation degree 햲햯 G n . This paper is devoted to introducing and investigating the bounded variation capacity and the perimeter in the abstract Wiener space X, thereby discovering some related inequalities. Functions of bounded variation in an abstract Wiener space X have been studied by many scholars. As the continuation of this research, we define the corresponding BV capacity cap H ⁡ (⋅) (now called abstract Wiener BV capacity) and investigate its properties. We also investigate some properties of sets of finite γ-perimeter, with γ being a Gaussian measure. Subsequently, the isocapacitary inequality associated with cap H ⁡ (⋅) is presented and we are able to show that it is equivalent to the Gaussian isoperimetric inequality. The paper deals with minimum energy problems in the presence of external fields on a locally compact space X with respect to a function kernel κ satisfying the energy and consistency principles. For quite a general (not necessarily lower semicontinuous) external field f, we establish sufficient and/or necessary conditions for the existence of λ A , f minimizing the Gauss functional ∫ κ (x , y) d (μ ⊗ μ) (x , y) + 2 ∫ f d μ over all positive Radon measures μ with μ (X) = 1 , concentrated on quite a general (not necessarily closed or bounded) set A ⊂ X , thereby giving an answer to a question raised by M. Then we give sufficient conditions for exponential stability of the above system. Let X , Y be two Banach spaces and f : X → Y be a standard coarse isometry. In this paper, we first show a sufficient and necessary condition for the coarse left-inverse operator of general Banach spaces to admit a linearly isometric right inverse. Furthermore, by using the well-known simultaneous extension operator, we obtain an asymptotical stability result when Y is a space of continuous functions. In addition, we also prove that every coarse left-inverse operator does admit a linear isometric right inverse without other assumptions when Y is a L p (1 < p < ∞) space, or both X and Y are finite dimensional spaces of the same dimension. Recently, Ludewig and Thiang introduced a notion of a uniformly localized Wannier basis with localization centers in an arbitrary uniformly discrete subset D in a complete Riemannian manifold X. They show that, under certain geometric conditions on X, the class of the orthogonal projection onto the span of such a Wannier basis in the K-theory of the Roe algebra C*(X) is trivial. In this paper, we clarify the geometric conditions on X, which guarantee triviality of the K-theory class of any Wannier projection. We show that this property is equivalent to triviality of the unit of the uniform Roe algebra of D in the K-theory of its Roe algebra, and provide a geometric criterion for that. As a consequence, we prove triviality of the K-theory class of any Wannier projection on a connected proper measure space X of bounded geometry with a uniformly discrete set of localization centers. A subset A of a vector space X is called \alpha-lineable whenever A contains, except for the null vector, a subspace of dimension \alpha. If X has a topology, then A is \alpha-spaceable if such subspace can be chosen to be closed. The vast existing literature on these topics has shown that positive results for lineability and spaceability are quite common. Recently, the stricter notions of (\alpha,\beta)-lineability/spaceability were introduced as an attempt to shed light on more subtle issues. In this paper, among other results, we prove some general criteria for the notion of (\alpha,\beta)-lineability/spaceability and, as applications, we extend recent results of different authors. In this paper, we define some combinatorial principles to characterize spaces X whose hyperspace satisfies some variation of some classical star selection principle. Specifically, the variations characterized are the selective and absolute versions of the star selection principles for the Menger and Rothberger cases; also, the hyperspaces considered in these characterizations are CL(X), 핂(X), 픽(X) and ℂ핊(X) in both cases, endowed with either the Fell topology or the Vietoris topology. A study of the class \Delta consisting of topological \Delta-spaces was originated by Jerzy Ka̧kol and Arkady Leiderman [Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. Ser. B 8 (2021), pp. 86–99; Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. Ser. B 8 (2021), pp. 267–280]. The main purpose of this paper is to introduce and investigate new classes \Delta _2 \subset \Delta _1 properly containing \Delta. We observe that for every first-countable X the following equivalences hold: X\in \Delta _1 iff X\in \Delta _2 iff each countable subset of X is G_{\delta }. Thus, new proposed concepts provide a natural extension of the family of all \lambda-sets beyond the separable metrizable spaces. We prove that (1) A pseudocompact space X belongs to the class \Delta _1 iff countable subsets of X are scattered. (2) Every regular scattered space belongs to the class \Delta _2. We investigate whether the classes \Delta _1 and \Delta _2 are invariant under the basic topological operations. Similarly to \Delta, both classes \Delta _1 and \Delta _2 are invariant under the operation of taking countable unions of closed subspaces. In contrast to \Delta, they are not preserved by closed continuous images. Let Y be l-dominated by X, i.e. C_p(X) admits a continuous linear map onto C_p(Y). We show that Y \in \Delta _1 whenever X \in \Delta _1. Growth models with resources and environmental externalities typically assume that planet Earth is a closed economy. However, private firms like Blue Origin and SpaceX have reduced the cost of rocket launches by a factor of 20 over the last decade. What if these costs continue to decline, making mining from asteroids or the moon feasible? What would be the implications for economic growth and the environment? This paper provides stylized facts about cost trends, geology, and the environmental impact of mining on Earth and potentially in Space. We extend a neoclassical growth model to investigate the transition from mining on Earth to Space. We find that such a transition could potentially allow for continued growth of metal use, while limiting environmental and social costs on Earth. In this paper, motivated by Reich contraction and tool of measure of noncompactness, some generalizations of Reich, Kannan, Darbo, Sadovskii, and Krasnoselskii type fixed point results are presented by considering a pair of maps A, B on a nonempty closed subset M of a Banach space X into X. The existence of a solution to the equation A x + B x = x , where A is k-set contractive and B is a generalized Reich contraction, is established. As applications, it is established that the main result of this paper can be applied to learn conditions under which a solution of a nonlinear integral equation exists. Further we explain this phenomenon with the help of a practical example to approximate such solutions by using fixed point techniques. In two previous papers [Katsanikas & Wiggins, 2021a, 2021b], we developed two methods for the construction of periodic orbit dividing surfaces for Hamiltonian systems with three or more degrees of freedom. We applied the first method (see [Katsanikas & Wiggins, 2021a]) in the case of a quadratic Hamiltonian system in normal form with three degrees of freedom, constructing a geometrical object that is the section of a 4D toroidal structure in the 5D energy surface with the space x = 0. We provide a more detailed geometrical description of this object within the family of 4D toratopes. We proved that this object is a dividing surface and it has the no-recrossing property. In this paper, we extend the results for the case of the full 4D toroidal object in the 5D energy surface. The main result of this paper is that, under PFA, for every regular space X with F(X) = \omega we have |X| \le w(X)^\omega; in particular, w(X) \le \mathfrak {c} implies |X| \le \mathfrak {c}. This complements numerous prior results that yield consistent examples of even compact Hausdorff spaces X with F(X) = \omega such that w(X) = \mathfrak {c} and |X| = 2^\mathfrak {c}. We also show that regularity cannot be weakened to the Hausdorff property in this result because we can find in ZFC a Hausdorff space X with F(X) = \omega such that w(X) = \mathfrak {c} and |X| = 2^\mathfrak {c}. In fact, this space X has the strongly anti-Urysohn (SAU) property that any two infinite closed sets in X intersect, which is much stronger than F(X) = \omega. Moreover, any non-empty open set in X also has size 2^\mathfrak {c}, and thus our example answers one of the main problems of both Juhász, Soukup, and Szentmiklóssy [Topology Appl. 213 (2016), pp. 8–23] and Juhász, Shelah, Soukup, and Szentmiklóssy [Topology Appl. 323 (2023), Paper No. 108288, 15 pp.] by providing in ZFC a SAU space with no isolated points. The object of this paper is to show that non-homotopy finite Poincaré duality spaces are plentiful. Let π be a finitely presented group. Assuming that the reduced Grothendieck group eK 0(Z[π]) has a non-trivial 2-divisible element, we construct a finitely dominated Poincaré space X with fundamental group π such that X is not homotopy finite. As a step towards establishing homotopy-theoretic foundations for topological data analysis (TDA), we introduce and study homotopy interleavings between filtered topological spaces. These are homotopy-invariant analogues of interleavings, objects commonly used in TDA to articulate stability and inference theorems. Intuitively, whereas a strict interleaving between filtered spaces X and Y certifies that X and Y are approximately isomorphic, a homotopy interleaving between X and Y certifies that X and Y are approximately weakly equivalent. The main results of this paper are that homotopy interleavings induce an extended pseudometric d_{HI} on filtered spaces, and that this is the universal pseudometric satisfying natural stability and homotopy invariance axioms. To motivate these axioms, we also observe that d_{HI} (or more generally, any pseudometric satisfying these two axioms and an additional "homology bounding" axiom) can be used to formulate lifts of several fundamental TDA theorems from the algebraic (homological) level to the level of filtered spaces. Finally, we consider the problem of establishing a persistent Whitehead theorem in terms of homotopy interleavings. We provide a counterexample to a naive formulation of the result. In this paper, we present some unexpected answers to two problems with longstanding interest. More specifically, we show that a bounded primitive function of an asymptotically almost periodic function from R to a Banach space X is remotely almost periodic if and only if c 0 ⊄ X. This gives a natural analogy of the classical Bohl-Bohr-Amerio-Kadets theorem for asymptotically almost periodic functions. Based on this result, we succeed in extending the classical Loomis theorem in [13] to asymptotically almost periodic case without any ergodic conditions, and apply our Loomis type theorems to abstract Cauchy problems. Moreover, we give an example of inhomogeneous Schrödinger equation with asymptotically almost periodic coefficient, whose solution is not asymptotically almost periodic but remotely almost periodic. This demonstrates that remotely almost periodic functions is the natural class for solutions to some partial differential equations, which is similar to a remarkable phenomenon revealed by Shen and Yi (1998) [20] using dynamical system approach. This paper continues our previous program to study the restriction estimates in a class of conical singular spaces X = C ⁢ (Y) = (0 , ∞) r × Y equipped with the metric g = d ⁢ r 2 + r 2 ⁢ h , where the cross section Y is a compact (n - 1) -dimensional closed Riemannian manifold (Y , h) . Assuming the initial data possesses additional regularity in the angular variable θ ∈ Y , we prove some linear restriction estimates for the solutions of Schrödinger equations on the cone X. The smallest positive eigenvalue of the operator Δ h + V 0 + (n - 2) 2 / 4 plays an important role in the result. In this paper, we introduce a concept of norm-attainment in the projective symmetric tensor product of a Banach space X, which turns out to be naturally related to the classical norm-attainment of N -homogeneous polynomials on X. Due to this relation, we can prove that there exist symmetric tensors that do not attain their norms, which allows us to study the problem of when the set of norm-attaining elements in is dense. We show that the set of all normattaining symmetric tensors is dense in for a large set of Banach spaces such as Lp-spaces, isometric L1-predual spaces or Banach spaces with monotone Schauder basis, among others. Next, we prove that if X* satisfies the Radon-Nikodým and approximation properties, then the set of all norm-attaining symmetric tensors in is dense. From these techniques, we can present new examples of Banach spaces X and Y such that the set of all norm-attaining tensors in the projective tensor product is dense, answering positively an open question from the paper [10]. Self-commitments and increasing legal requirements lead to the compulsion to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in commercial aerospace. One viable approach is the reduction of structural mass, that would reduce emissions for every flight. This is especially true for high cadence singe aisle aircrafts. However, high quantities are required in this segment. To achieve these goals the newly developed low-melt Poly-Aryl-Ether-Ketone (LM-PAEK), a high-performance carbon fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite was chosen to build a full-scale multi-functional fuselage demonstrator (MFFD) in order to delevelop an automated process that shows these savings. Single-step automated Fiber Placement (AFP) with in-situ consolidation offers distinct advantages in this field with its short curing times and especially by eliminating high amounts of waste otherwise caused by vacuum bagging and related tasks for post-consolidation in an autoclave. In order to ready this technology for future aircraft production this paper demonstrates how the processing window for LM-PAEK tape (TC1225) provided by TORAY was established. By closely linking robot and end-effector data with positionally accurate thermocouple measurements, the determined mechanical properties at coupon level and micro-sections of the manufactured specimens can be precisely correlated. This holistic approach is independent of the placement equipment and may enable global comparability within the community working in the field of thermoplastic AFP. In this paper, Jordan–Kronecker invariants are calculated for all nilpotent 6- and 7-dimensional Lie algebras. We consider the Poisson bracket family, depending on the lambda parameter on a Lie coalgebra, i.e., on the linear space dual to a Lie algebra. For some space 픤 proposed in the paper, two skew-symmetric matrices are defined for all points x on this linear space. To understand the behaviour of the matrix pencil (A − λB)(x), we consider Jordan–Kronecker invariants for this pencil and how they change with x (the latter is done for 6-dimensional Lie algebras). Within the next decade it is likely that the space tourism industry will grow and the number of humans travelling into space via commercial entities such as Virgin Galactic and Blue Origin, will increase significantly. Current space tourism ventures focus on short duration sub-orbital flights and visits to Low Earth Orbit (LEO). In the next few decades, a journey into space could become as normal as a transatlantic flight. During these new commercial ventures, the effects of cosmic radiation exposure, especially during sudden changes in space weather, such as ground level enhancement (GLE) or solar particle events (SPEs), could have significant health implications for crew and passengers. Such changes in space weather could expose space tourists to radiation doses in excess of the recommended maximum 1 mSv yearly effective dose uptake for a member of the public and 20 mSv yearly effective dose limit for those working with radiation (ICRP Publication 103, 2007 [1]). Domestic legislation and regulation focussing on potential radiation exposure for space tourists is limited and largely untested; there is heavy focus on conventional risk and wider safety, with guidance stemming from regulation of commercial high-level flights, which are significantly different to space tourism enterprises. In this paper we consider the current domestic legislation and regulations adopted by the USA and the UK, as two examples of launch nations with legislation and regulation relating to space tourism activities. We acknowledge and consider feedback we have received from the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on current regulations and topics outlined in this paper. We discuss whether current legislation and regulation offers sufficient protection for space flight participants (space tourists), and whether risk is balanced appropriately between the operators who provide space tourism services and those taking part. Finally, we discuss the routes to acceptance of the radiation risks and make recommendations for legislators, regulators and operators to support them in ensuring that the risks are managed appropriately while also supporting the development of the industry. When we wanted to further investigate the results of Bourgain–Pavlović, Koch–Tataru and Li–Xiao–Yang, we encountered the problem of stability of the parameter flow. For initial data in some space X , norm inflation implies that the solution does not belong to C (X). For BMO − 1 , Auscher–Dubois–Tchamitchian proved that Koch–Tataru's solution is stable in their defined space C 0 . In this paper, we consider Koch–Tataru's iteration space and construct a non-Gauss flow function to show that C 0 -stability may have meaning different to L ∞ (( BMO − 1) n) , which supports Chemin and Gallagher's point: well-posedness and norm inflation may have no conflict. In this paper, we study the behavior of some topological and cardinal properties of topological spaces under the influence of the NτΦ-kernel of a space X. It has been proved that the NτΦ-kernel of a space X preserves the density and the network p - weight of normal spaces. Whenever the closure of an open set is also open, it is called e-open and if a space have a base consisting of e-open sets, it is called e-space. In this paper we first introduce and study e-spaces and e-continuous func-tions (we call a function f from a space X to a space Y an e-continuous at x 2 X if for each open set V containing f(x) there is an e-open set containing x with f(U) C V). We observe that the quasicomponent of each point in a space X is determined by e-continuous functions on X and it is characterized as the largest set containing the point on which every e-continuous function on X is constant. Next, we study the rings Ce(X) of all real valued e-continuous functions on a spaCe X. It turns out that Ce(X) coincides with the ring of real valued clopen continuous functions on X which is a C(Y) for a zero-dimensional spaCe Y whose elements are the quasicomponents of X. Using this fact we characterize the real maximal ideals of Ce(X) and also give a natural representation of its maximal ideals. In this paper, we study strong coproximinality in Bochner Lp -spaces and in the Köthe Bochner function space E(X). We investigate some conditions to be imposed on the subspace G of the Banach space X such that Lp (µ, G) is strongly coproximinal in Lp (µ, X), 1 ≤ p < ∞. On the other hand, we prove that if G is a separable subspace of X then G is strongly coproximinal in X if and only if E(G) is strongly coproximinal in E(X), provided that E is a strictly monotone Köthe space.
