Objective To analyze the effect of preoperative nursing intervention on the degree of cooperation in day surgery patients. Methods The clinical data of 56 patients undergoing day surgery in Zhongshan People's Hospital from January 2019 to January 2020 were selected as the object of this study. According to the order of admission, the patients were divided into two groups. The control group had 28 cases and received routine nursing care. The observation group had 28 cases and had strengthened preoperative nursing intervention. The impact on the patient's surgical cooperation was analyzed. Results After the intervention, the pulse rate and blood pressure of patients undergoing day surgery decreased, which was lower in the observation group, and the diference between the two groups were statistically significant (both P <0.05). The S-AI score of day surgery patients decreased, and the observation group was lower. The diference between the two groups were statistically significant (both P <0.05). The surgical cooperation score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the diference between the two groups were statistically significant (both P <0.05). Conclusion Carrying out preoperative nursing interventions for day surgery patients can improve patient cooperation and reduce preoperative stress and anxiety. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
