The article discusses how libraries have become a source for guidance to people who are seeking jobs, and what libraries can do to help workers acquire skills needed for the labor market in the 21st century. A 2010 study from the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) reports increased library use, especially use of library computers and instruction since the economic downturn.
