Network scanner is a key measuring instrument in network optimization for 5G mobile communication. This paper details the design of frequency source for 5G network scanner. The phase noise of frequency source was simulated with ADS. The frequency resource was developed with low phase noise, high frequency resolution, low spurious and small size. The output frequency range is 62.5MHz-32GHz with 1Hz frequency resolution. The phase noise of frequency source is -89.44dBc / Hz (1kHz offset) at the frequency of 28GHz.
