It contains some information on the Chicago Journeymen Horse Shoers Union, the Labor Party of Cook County, and the Farmer Labor Parties of Cook County and the United States.

The article highlights the 25th annual Print Outlook Conference held at the Hilton Arlington Hotel in Arlington, Texas from December 1-2, 2005. The key objective of the conference was to address the key marketing and economic issues for the printing and converting industries. There were 88 attendees composed of economists, consultants, government affairs specialists and panelists from the printing industry. One of the keynote speakers of the event was John Engler, the president of the nation's largest trade group, the National Association of Manufacturers.
