Construction services are activities to create buildings that function as support or infrastructure for socio-economic activities for national development. In its implementation, there was a construction failure, which resulted in the project being late and experiencing additional costs. In the period July 2017 – August 2020 there were more than 34 incidents of construction failure that occurred in Indonesia. Of these various incidents, the cause is mostly due to human factors, one of which is the leadership factor. Therefore, research is needed regarding what factors influence the leadership system to reduce the failure rate of construction. The purpose of this study is to find leadership system variables and indicators that affect the failure rate of construction in national private construction implementing service companies. The analysis was carried out on 148 respondents who work in the national private construction services sector. The research method used is quantitative methods with a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire and analyzed with the help of SmartPLS. Of the 11 leadership variables from the literature study and expert input, it was found that only the stakeholder involvement variable with 7 indicators had a direct effect on construction failure.
