In this paper, we investigate the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point of almost contractions via simulation functions in metric spaces. Moreover, some examples and an application to integral equations are given to support availability of the obtained results. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In the present paper, we introduce the notion of generalized ratio- nal contraction including admissible mappings and establish coincidence point and common fixed point results for this class of mappings defined on ordinary as well as ordered metric spaces. Our results extend, generalize and unify com- parable results in the existing literature. Applying these results, we deduce fixed point results on metric spaces endowed with graph. An example and application to obtain the existence of common solution for a system of integral equations are also given in order to illustrate the e¤ectiveness of the o¤ered results. In this paper, we introduce the notion of T-cyclic $( \alpha ,\beta ) $-contraction and give some common fixed point results for this type of contractions. The presented theorems extend, generalize, and improve many existing results in the literature.
