The article features working mothers Julie Burleson and Suzy Nettles, founders of Young Chefs Academy base in Waco, Texas. The idea to build a cooking school for children came up when Burleson's son Andrew requested to help out when the two were cooking other people's dinners. After the project was received positively by mothers and children in the area, the two decided to expand the business quickly through franchising.
