Tariqilabeo latius (Hamilton, 1822) Remarks. This species was originally described from the Tistra River, at the base of the Darjeeling Himalayas, India / Bangladesh. It is distributed in the Ganges, Brahmaputra, and Meghna Rivers, Nepal, Bhutan, India, and Bangladesh. Therefore, Afghanistan is not in the natural distribution range of the species.
