Malignancies and diseases of various genetic origins can be diagnosed and classified with microarray data. There are many obstacles to overcome due to the large size of the gene and the small number of samples in the microarray. A combination strategy for gene expression in a variety of diseases is described in this paper, consisting of two steps: identifying the most effective genes via soft ensembling and classifying them with a novel deep neural network. The feature selection approach combines three strategies to select wrapper genes and rank them according to the k-nearest neighbour algorithm, resulting in a very generalisable model with low error levels. Using soft ensembling, the most effective subsets of genes were identified from three microarray datasets of diffuse large cell lymphoma, leukaemia, and prostate cancer. A stacked deep neural network was used to classify all three datasets, achieving an average accuracy of 97.51%, 99.6%, and 96.34%, respectively. In addition, two previously unreported datasets from small, round blue cell tumors (SRBCTs)and multiple sclerosis-related brain tissue lesions were examined to show the generalisability of the model method., (© 2022 The Authors. The high mortality rate and prevalence of cardiovascular disease (CVD) make early detection of the disease essential. Due to its simplicity and low cost, the phonocardiogram (PCG) system is widely used in healthcare applications for the recognition of CVD in multiclass problems. On the basis of the PCG signal, this paper proposes a hybrid method for classifying cardiac sounds with deep extracted features through two‐step learning. For fine‐grained features in Graph Convolutional Networks (GCNs), sampling and prior layers are employed. A PCG signal is divided into equal parts with overlap using the windowing process. L‐spectrograms extract frequency‐domain information from signals to figure out their power spectrum. Furthermore, the deep GCN tries to determine the association between CVD and spectrogram images to recognize CVD signals better. Combining retrieved features with convolutional neural network (CNN) characteristics reveals an image's intrinsic associations. To generate relational feature representations, correlations between clusters and GCN are visualized using a graph structure. CNN's discriminative ability has been enhanced by incorporating GCN attributes. Using Michigan Heart Sound and Murmur Database and PhysioNet/CinC 2016 Challenge results, we are 99.44% and 96.16% accurate, respectively. Through a combination of GCN architecture, CNN design, and deep features, the hybrid model significantly improves CVD classification accuracy. Big data entails massive cloud resources for data processing and analysis, which consumes more energy to run. The resources and tasks are increasing exponentially in the cloud environment for the processing of big data, which results in an increment in power consumption to run the cloud data center. So, there is always a scope for optimizing the energy utilization in cloud data centers. This paper presents a visionary architecture in a cloud environment for big data with a proposed energy-efficient strategy based on LSTM-DQN (long-short-term memory-deep Q network) using reinforcement learning (RL). The traditional techniques are not so efficient when the tasks are allocated dynamically, and the generic RL strategies are not able to store the data iterated in the last cycles of processing, so the LSTM is considered for this purpose. In the proposed model, integration of DPSO and DQN is used for better estimation and rectification of the curse of dimensionality. The proposed strategy is compared with different variants of PSO (particle swarm optimization) such as DPSO and QoS-PSO. The improvement in results through proposed model is recoded over the algorithm such as load aware (8.01%), DQN (13.36%), EA-DQN (34.16%), L-No-DEAF (15.62%), DPSO (62.68%), QoS-PSO (72.69%), FFO-EVSM (75.42%), and MIMT (76.39%) on the parameter of energy efficiency, tasks completion time, and energy consumption over the timeline. So, the proposed model is encouraging in the energy-efficient cloud environment for big data with the challenges that the technological world is facing and the emergence of deep learning as one propitious field. People's need for healthcare capacity has become increasingly critical as the elderly population continues to grow in most communities. Approximately 25–47% of seniors fall annually, and early detection of poor balance can significantly reduce their risk. Automated fall detection with big data analytics is key to maintaining the safety of the elderly in smart cities. Visible image systems (VIS) in smart buildings, on the other hand, visible image systems (VIS) in smart buildings may compromise the privacy of seniors by enabling technologies for intelligent big data analytics (IBDA). Thermal imaging (TI) is less obtrusive than visual imaging and can be used in combination with machine vision to perform a wide range of IBDAs. In this study, we present a novel two-step method for detecting falls in TI frames using deep learning (DL). As the first step, tracking tools are used to locate people's locations. A novel modified deep transfer learning (TL) technique is used to classify the trajectory created by the tracking approach for people who are at risk of falling. Fall detection by the IBDA will be connected to the Internet of medical things (IoMT) and used as smart technology in the process of big data-assisted pervasive surveillance and health analytics. According to an analysis of the publicly available thermal fall dataset, our method outperforms traditional fall detection methods, with an average error of less than 3%. Additionally, IoMT platforms facilitate data processing, real-time monitoring and healthcare management. Our smart scheme for using big data analytics to enable intelligent decisions is compatible with the various spaces and provides a comfortable and safe environment for current and future elderly people. The intensification of the greenhouse effect is driving the implementation of energy saving and emission reduction policies, which lead to a wide variety of energy saving solutions benefiting from the advancement of emerging technologies such as Wireless Communication, the Internet of Things, etc. With the multi-convergence development of different domains in the power industry, demand-side refinement management solutions are constantly concerned. One of the key functions of demand-side refinement management solutions is non-intrusive load monitoring (NILM), which has benefited from the growing interest in emerging technologies such as wireless communications and the Internet of Things. Currently, deep learning methods such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) are widely used for in-depth research on NILM. This paper investigates the role of attention mechanisms in the above two time-series deep learning models.
