Abstract

This paper reports a current status of the measurements of the hadronic cross sections in the c.m. energy range from 0.32 to 2.0 GeV with the CMD-3 detector at the VEPP-2000 electron-positron collider. The overall size of the data, acquired by the CMD-3 in the runs of 2010–2013 and 2017–2018 years, is about 160 pb−1. The results of data analysis for various exclusive modes of e + e − → h a d r o n s are described.

Abstract

This paper reports measurements of the hadronic cross sections with the CMD-3 detector at the VEPP-2000 electron-positron collider. The overall size of the data sample analyzed is about 60 pb-1, collected by the CMD- 3 running since December 2010 up to June 2013 in the c.m. energy range from 0.32 to 2.0 GeV. The preliminary results of data analysis for various modes of e + e − → hadrons are discussed.

Abstract

The cross section of the process $e^+e^- \to \pi^+\pi^-\pi^0\eta$ has been measured using a data sample of 21.8 pb$^{-1}$ collected with the CMD-3 detector at the VEPP-2000 $e^+e^-$ collider. 2769$\pm$95 signal events have been selected in the center-of-mass energy range 1394--2005 MeV. The production dynamics is dominated by the $\omega(782)\eta$ and $\phi(1020)\eta$ intermediate states in the lower energy range, and by the $a_0(980)\rho(770)$ intermediate state at higher energies., Comment: 20 pages, 11 figures, 2 tables

Abstract

We analyze the data on e + e − collisions at c.m.s. energies between 0.32 and 2 GeV collected in 2011–2013 with the CMD3 detector operating at the VEPP-3 e + e − collider of the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics. The data correspond to an integrated luminosity of nearly 60 pb-1. Preliminary results e + e − → K + K − nπ (n = 1, 2, 3) on the reactions with two charged kaons in the final state are presented, and the procedure for estimating the integrated luminosity for each energy setting is described.

Abstract

The preliminary results of measurement of the e + e − → π+π−π0 cross section in the 1.05–2 GeV center-of-mass energy range with 30 pb–1 of experimental data collected using the CMD-3 detector are presented. The parameters of resonant states ω(1420) and ω(1650) are obtained.

Abstract

The data sample collected in 2011-2013 at the c.m.s. energies between 0.32-2 GeV with the CMD-3 detector operating at the VEPP-2000 e+e− collider is analzed. The collected data corresponds to an integrated luminosity about ∼ 60pb−1. The techniques for determination of the integrated luminosity for each energy setting is described. Some preliminary results of the study of the processes e+e−→ K+ K− + nπ (n = 1,2,3) with two charged kaons in the final state are presented. These processes have several intermediate states, which are important to correctly descript the angular distributions of final particles and the cross sections dependence on the energy.

Abstract

The process e+e-→π0γ is studied with the SND detector at the VEPP-2000 e+e- collider. Basing on data with an integrated luminosity of 41 pb-1 recorded in 2010-2012 we measure the e+e-→π0γ cross section in the center-of-mass energy range from 1.075 up to 2 GeV. In the range 1.4–2.0 GeV the process e+e-→π0γ is studied for the first time.

Abstract

We report preliminary results on the cross section of the process e+e− → φ(1020)η measured at 30 center-of-mass energy points in the range from 1.59 up to 2.0 GeV. Data analysis is based on the integrated luminosity of 22 pb−1 collected with the CMD-3 detector in 2011–2012. The obtained cross section agrees with the BaBar measurement and has better statistical accuracy.

Abstract

The process e + e − → K + K − has been studied using 1.7 × 10 6 events from a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.7 pb −1 collected with the CMD-3 detector in the center-of-mass energy range 1010–1060 MeV. The cross section is measured with about 2% systematic uncertainty and is used to calculate the contribution to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon a μ K + K − = ( 19.33 ± 0.40 ) × 10 − 10 , and to obtain the ϕ ( 1020 ) meson parameters. We consider the relationship between the e + e − → K + K − and e + e − → K S 0 K L 0 cross sections and compare it to the theoretical prediction.

Abstract

Since December 2010 the CMD-3 and SND detectors detectors collect data at the VEPP-2000 electron-positron collider. In 2013-2015 the injection facility of the collider has undergone an upgrade of the injection system. The new BINP injection complex has been connected to the VEPP-2000 collider, so the restrictions connected to the lack of positrons and limited beam energy transfer do not apply any more. The collider luminosity in whole energy range is restricted now only by beam-beam effects. VEPP-2000 collider started to collect data with two detectors at 2016 year. The collected data sample since 2010 corresponds more than 100 pb-1 of integrated luminosity per detector in the c.m. energy between 0.32 and 2GeV. We will report here results of analysis of various hadronic cross sections from detectors both published and preliminary. These measurements are important by themselves and also because of the implications for anomaly of the magnetic moment of a muon (g-2) discrepancy.

Abstract

A search for the process e + e − → η ′ ( 958 ) in the π + π − η → π + π − γ γ final state has been performed with the CMD-3 detector at the VEPP-2000 e + e − collider. Using an integrated luminosity of 2.69 pb − 1 collected at the center-of-mass energy E c.m. = 957.68 MeV we set an upper limit for the product of electronic width and branching fractions Γ η ′ ( 958 ) → e + e − ⋅ B η ′ ( 958 ) → π + π − η ⋅ B η → γ γ 0.00041 eV at 90% C.L.

Abstract

The e+e-→K+K- cross section is measured in the center-of-mass energy range 1.05–2.00 GeV at the SND detector. The measurement is based on data with an integrated luminosity of 35 pb-1 collected at the VEPP-2000 e+e--collider. The obtained results are consistent with the previous most accurate data obtained in the BABAR experiment and have a comparable accuracy.

The data in the energy range of 1.1–1.4 GeV are in agreement with the earlier measurements with the SND and CMD-2 detectors. The cross section has also been measured above 1.4 GeV.

The CMD-3 detector has been successfully collecting data at the electron-positron collider VEPP-2000 since December 2010. The first scan below 1 GeV for a π+π− measurement was performed in 2013. The collected data sample corresponds to about 18 pb−1 of integrated luminosity in this energy range. Analysis of the e+e−→ π+π− cross section is in progress. Status of this measurement are presented.

Abstract

A large data sample of e+e-→ 4π collected by the CMD-3 experiment at the VEPP-2000 e+ e− collider allowed for an amplitude analysis of the process e+e−→ 4π in the center-of-mass energy range 900–2000 MeV. Various intermediate components were distinguished and dominance of the ωπ0 and a1π amplitudes has been proved.

Abstract

Since December 2010, the CMD-3 detector has collected data at the electronpositron collider VEPP-2000. The sample of the accumulated data corresponds to about 60 pb −1 of integrated luminosity in the c.m. energy from 0.32 up to 2 GeV. Preliminary results of the analysis of various processes e + e − annihilation to hadrons are presented. It is shown the processes with multihadron events have several intermediate states which must be taken into account to correctly describe the angular and invariant mass distributions as well as cross section dependence versus energy.

Abstract

Experiments with the CMD-3 detector at the electron-positron collider VEPP-2000 started in 2010. CMD-3 is a general purpose detector designed to study e+e− annihilation into hadrons in the center-of-mass (c.m.) energy range from 0.3 up to2 GeV. The cross section of the process e+e− → K+ K−π+π− has been measured using 23 pb−1 of integrated luminosity collected in the c.m. energy range 1.5 – 2.0 GeV.

Abstract

Since 2010 the CMD-3 detector has been collecting data at the e+e− collider VEPP-2000 in the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics. One of the main goals of experiments with CMD-3 detector is the precise measurement of the cross sections of the e+e− annihilation into hadrons. For a large number of processes the main source of systematic uncertainty in cross sections determination due to accuracy of polar angles determination of the tracks. Z-chamber is used for the reconstruction of the track longitudinal coordinate which is with low systematic uncertainty. The measurement of longitudinal coordinates is performed by the collecting of the charge which is induced on the strip cathodes of the Z-chamber. The algorithms of the reconstruction of cathodes clusters and calibration procedure are presented.

Abstract

Regular operation of the VEPP-2000 electron-positron collider started at the end of 2010 and about 60 pb −1 were collected so far by the CMD-3 detector in the whole available c.m. energy range from 0.32 GeV to 2.0 GeV. One of the main goals of the experiments at VEPP-2000 is a sub-percent measurement of the e + e − → π + π − cross-section. Here we present the overview of the data analysis techniques and the preliminary results of this measurement.

Abstract

We report preliminary results on the measurement of the cross sections of the processes e + e − → K + K − π + π − and e + e − → φη in the c.m.energy range from 1.5 GeV to 2 GeV with the CMD-3 detector. The cross sections of these processes agree with BaBar results and have better accuracy.

Abstract

Two e^+e^- colliders, VEPP-4M and VEPP2000, are taking data at the Budker INP in Novosibirsk, Russia. KEDR detector at the VEPP-4M collider continues deliver precision measurements of the charmonium family. Results of the psi(2S ) and psi(3770) study are presented. Two energy scans of a center-of-mass energy range from 1 GeV to 2 GeV has been performed by the VEPP2000 collider with an integrated luminosity of about 35 pb^-1, collected by each of the CMD-3 and SND detectors. This paper reports the latest results from VEPP-2000 obtained by the CMD-3 collaboration.

Abstract

We report preliminary results on the measurement of the [Formula: see text] cross section with the CMD-3 detector at the VEPP-2000 electron-positron collider based on 4.5 pb-1 of integrated luminosity collected in the c.m. energy range 1.92 - 2.0 GeV. Event selection using information from the Drift Chamber and Calorimeters provides a clean sample of [Formula: see text] events. The obtained results are in good agreement with the previous measurements.

The VEPP-2000 electron-positron collider was commissioned in 2010. About 60 pb-1 were collected so far by CMD-3 detector in the whole available c.m. energy range from 0.32 GeV to 2.0 GeV. The preliminary results of data analysis for various modes of e+e− → hadrons are discussed.

Abstract

We report preliminary results on the measurement of the cross section of the process e+e- → K+K-π+π- in the c.m. energy range from 1.5 GeV to 2 GeV. It is shown that the cross section is dominated by the contributions of several intermediate states K+K-ρ, K*Kπ, ϕπ+π- and K*K*.
