A case study of a 68-year-old postmenopausal lady presented with pain and a lump in the left breast of 8 months' duration. Topics include corresponding ultrasound imaging showed altered glandular echotexture with an ill-defined hypoechoic lesion showing indistinct margins and marked posterior acoustic shadowing with no areas of vascularity; and the breast parenchyma revealed interlobular dense fibrosis, lobular atrophy, and lymphocytic infiltrate around the terminal ductal lobular units.
