Abstract

The article discusses a study in which researchers designed an in-home caregiver psycho-intervention involving monthly telephone calls to assess the improved disease-management effectiveness. The intervention study enrolled 32 patients with dementia, their caregivers, and 20 control subjects. The effectiveness of the psycho-intervention strategy is discussed.
