Let G = (V,E) be a graph; a set S ⊆ V is a total k-dominating set if every vertex v ∍ V has at least k neighbors in S. The total k-domination number γkt(G) is the minimum cardinality among all total k-dominating sets. In this paper we obtain several tight bounds for the total k-domination number of a graph. In particular, we investigate the relationship between the total k-domination number of a graph and the order, the size, the girth, the minimum and maximum degree, the diameter, and other domination parameters of the graph. Domination theory is a well-established topic in graph theory, as well as one of the most active research areas. Interest in this area is partly explained by its diversity of applications to real-world problems, such as facility location problems, computer and social networks, monitoring communication, coding theory, and algorithm design, among others. In the last two decades, the functions defined on graphs have attracted the attention of several researchers. The Roman-dominating functions and their variants are one of the main attractions. This paper is a contribution to the Roman domination theory in graphs. Transitivity on graphs is a concept widely investigated. This suggest to analyze the action of automorphisms on other sets. In this paper, we study the action on the family of γ -sets (minimum dominating sets), the graph is called γ -transitive if given two γ -sets there exists an automorphism which maps one onto the other. We deal with two families: paths P n and cycles C n . Their γ -sets are fully characterized and the action of the automorphism group on the family of γ -sets is fully analyzed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
