Abstract

The article offers a study that evaluates the effects of different sterol-containing diets and the effects of direct boldenone/boldione administration on liver drug metabolizing enzymes in veal calves. Growth promoters, boldenone/boldione that are banned within the European Union, are still used in cattle to increase growth and improve carcass quality.
