Abstract

A patient's age, weight, gender, and pathophysiological state are some factors that may necessitate the adjustment of drug dosing. In addition, pharmacokinetics and pharmacogenomics, drug-drug and food-drug interactions may further alter the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of a drug.
