Household waste management is an important aspect of sustainable living, which has an impact on environmental welfare and public health. However, the extent to which different socio-economic groups engage in responsible waste management practices varies widely, thereby contributing to broader issues of social inequality. This study investigates how family education, as a key determinant of individual behavior and decision making, influences inequality in waste management practices among various socio-economic groups. Through a comprehensive analysis of existing literature, case studies and empirical data, the author highlights various aspects of social problems related to household waste. From the research results, it was found that 74.4% said that managing waste was easy, 98.5% said they knew how to choose organic and inorganic waste, 82.7% said they knew how to manage and utilize RT waste. However, 61.7% do not carry out real practice of sorting organic and inorganic waste at home independently. It was proven that 51.1% subscribed to rubbish officers in their area and 30.8% disposed of rubbish independently at rubbish dumps. This could be due to a lack of learning in the form of direct practice based on habituation education from home. Supporting this, 78.9% have never taken courses or training regarding the management and use of household waste. And 89.5% of people from the basic family level expressed the need for knowledge, skills and management in the community. These findings highlight the potential of family education programs to bridge the gap in waste management behavior among various socioeconomic strata. Such interventions can empower individuals and families with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement sustainable waste management practices, thereby contributing to a more equitable and environmentally conscious society.

Rice is a staple food for most Indonesian population. Nowadays, people want staple foods that are not only filling but also do not increase blood sugar concentration (low glycemic index). One of foods that contain higher starch, lower glycemic index, and higher fiber than rice is white corn. The white color of the corn is an advantage because if it is made in grits it can resemble rice. Weakness of white corn is harder than rice. To soften and make it easier to consume, it is coated with an edible packaging made from tapioca. The purposes of this study were to study (1) the quality of dried corn rice from local white corn Anoman 1 variety in edible packaging with packaging thickness of 0.7, 0.9, 1.1, 1.3, and 1.5 mm; (2) the quality of cooked white corn rice produced. The results showed that the thickness of the edible packaging significantly affected (1) the moisture, ash, protein, fat, and carbohydrate contents of dried white corn rice and (2) all parameters of cooked white corn rice (a = 0.05). The best cooked corn rice based on the stickiness test was found in coated dried corn rice with edible packaging with a thickness of 1.5 mm. Characteristics of (1) dried white corn rice contained 11.39% water, 0.21% db ash, 15.23% db protein, 0.53% db fat, 72.64% carbohydrates, 2.11% crude fiber, (2) the quality of cooked of white corn rice were 18.17 g / mm2 stickiness, yellowish color (score 1.1), slightly distinctive aroma of corn (score 2.5), slightly fluffier texture (score 3.4), and rather strong sweet taste (score 2.8). Most of raptor species rehabilitated for conservation purpose at WRC Jogja are eagles. Annually, we perform general raptor examination involving conventional routine hematologic examination. However, low sample quality and over dense blood cell population during total erythrocyte and leukocyte counting were deemed as obstacles. This study aimed to give wider insight in how total erythrocyte and leukocyte counting was performed at WRC Jogja to overcome those obstacles. Firstly, handling and restraint were done physically adapting the Aba method. One-to-two half millilitres of blood was collected from the ulnar vein using 3-ml-syringe with 24-gauge-needle which was then preserved in an EDTA-containing tube and proceeded to subsequent method no more than 3 hours after collection. No hypovolemic shock was observed. During total erythrocyte and leukocyte counting using Neubauer-ruled counting chamber, we modified the dilution factor to be 250-fold and 50-fold respectively. This method yielded a countable cell density and can be applied in other species in similar condition.

This study examines the influence of earnings management on the value relevance of earnings, that is, the value relevance of level and changes of earnings. The sample consists of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), comprising 606 observations. By using panel data regression, this study provides evidence that the level of earnings has no value relevance; conversely, changes in earnings have value relevance, indicating that earnings have less value relevance. Furthermore, the results of the relevance test of earnings value with the presence of earnings management show that the relevance of the value of the earnings level increases with the presence of earnings management; on the contrary, the relevance of earnings changes decreases with the presence of earnings management. Based on the value of earnings response coefficient, the impact of earnings management on the value relevance of level and changes of earnings appears to indicate that earnings management reduces the value relevance of earnings.

This research aims to develop a model of entrepreneurial incubator for students in entrepreneurship learning. The model developed by the incubator includes: the empowerment of learners, the concept of problem, problem solution, through the structure of the incubator models doing, empowering, facilitating, and evaluating. This research was a research and development. The steps taken in the development of the model were: (1) designing a model, designing questionnaires, and validating the model, by measuring the goodness of fit; (2) testing the model to measure the applied model. In model validation, the data were collected from 130 students who got incubator treatment selection using the simple random sampling technique. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire. The data were analysied using the concept of SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The method used in experimental field trials was the experimental group and control group (pretest-posttest control group design). The subjects of the tryout were 75 students of informatics engineering course who were not the subjects of the incubator program (the control group) and 75 students of chemistry education, chemistry, mathematics education, mathematics, biology education, and biology were referred to as the experimental group (program subject to the incubator). The data were collected through interviews and questionnaires. The data were analyzed using t-test trials to find out a significant difference in the behavior of the experimental group and control group. The results of the study of the entrepreneurship incubator model development is otherwise valid according to the probability (p) 0.0685, Goodness of Fit Model (GFI) 0.8256, Adjusted Goodness of Fit Index (AGFI) 0.7706, Comparative Fit Index (CFI) 0.9883, and the Root Mean Square Error of Approximation (RMSEA) 0.054. This model is considered effective because it can increase the independence of learners. The result of the confirmatory analysis (CFA) shows that each latent variable is proved to be formed by the manifests of one dimension. The model is applied to have a positive impact on enhancing thestudents tendency in mental independence, after receiving treatment assistance incubators. Latent variable-power is reflected by the manifest: (a) the technical capabilities in writing, (b) awareness for entrepreneurship, (c) motivation for entrepreneurship, (d) the excess of self to self-employed, (e) the lack of self to self-employed, (f) access to other party to entrepreneurship, and (g) networking for entrepreneurship. While professionals have a manifest latent variables: (a) believing in themselves to entrepreneurship, (b) being independent for entrepreneurship, (c) being resilient and determined to entrepreneurship, (d) perseverance up to entrepreneurship, (e) writing creatively on entrepreneurship. Manifest variables in the form of mental self-reliance has increased after the mentoring model of entrepreneurial incubator. This suggests that the better the model of mentoring incubator, the better it will form a mental model of the entrepreneurial independence.
