Bearing of gas turbine often works under bad lubrication conditions. Bearing under heavy load, frequent variable conditions and the instant of gas turbine start and stop will lead to interface lubrication failure and plastic deformation. Taking a typical working condition of a marine gas turbine bearing as an example, aiming at the problem of plastic deformation of gas turbine bearing, the fast Fourier transform method is used to solve the elastic-plastic deformation of bearing, and the elastohydrodynamic lubrication state of gas turbine bearing is numerically calculated. The results show that the plastic deformation will directly affect the lubrication state of gas turbine bearing. Properly increasing the rotating speed will help to form the oil film between the contact surfaces, reduce the maximum residual stress and improve the lubrication state. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
