The exchange bias at ferromagnetic (FM)/antiferromagnetic (AF) interfaces strongly depends upon the state of antiferromagnetic layer, which is sensitive to mechanical stresses due to its strong magnetoelastic coupling. In a given paper, we consider magnetoelastic effects, which arise at FM/AF interface due to misfit of lattices and magnetic ordering. We show how magnetostriction affects mutual orientation of the AF and FM vectors as well as magnetic easy-axis direction in thin AF layer. The results obtained can be used for tailoring of exchange-biased systems. Величина обменного подмагничивания на границе раздела ферромагнетик (ФМ)/антиферромагнетик (АФ) существенно зависит от состояния антиферромагнитного слоя, который, благодаря сильным магнитоупругим взаимодействиям, чувствителен к механическим напряжениям. В данной статье рассмотрены магнитоупругие эффекты, возникающие на границе раздела ФМ/АФ из-за решёточного несоответствия и магнитного упорядочения. Показано, каким образом магнитострикция влияет на взаимную ориентацию АФ- и ФМ-векторов и на направление лёгкой оси в тонком АФ-слое. Полученные результаты могут быть использованы при создании систем с обменным подмагничиванием. Величина обмінного підмагнетовування на межі поділу феромагнетик (ФМ)/антиферомагнетик (АФ) істотно залежить від стану антиферомагнетного шару, який, завдяки сильним магнетопружнім взаємодіям, чутливий до механічних напружень. В даній роботі розглянуто магнетопружні ефекти, що виникають на межі поділу ФМ/АФ через ґратницеву невідповідність і магнетне впорядкування. Продемонстровано спосіб, в який магнетострикція впливає на взаємну орієнтацію АФ- і ФМ-векторів і на напрямок легкої осі в тонкому АФ-шарі. Одержані результати можуть бути використаними при створенні систем з обмінним підмагнетовуванням.

The residual contrast arising in dark-field micrographs when g · b = 0 can be used for determining the nature of prismatic dislocation loops as a function of the parameter m. Experimentally it is shown that in this case the contrast sign is unambiquously determined by the relative orientation of g and b and is independent of the depth position of the dislocation. The dislocation loop type can be derived from the sign of the contrast in the positive direction of the diffraction vector; for a vacancy loop the outer bands of the are must be bright, for an interstitial loop — dark. The best results when using the recommended technique can be obtained for edge loops normal to the electron beam. Besides, the nature of the loops lying in inclined planes can also be analyzed. The kinematic effects in thin crystals at noticeable deviation from the exact Bragg position can result in errors in determining the loop nature. Der Restkontrast, der in den Dunkelfeldmikrographien fur den Fall g · b = 0 auftritt, kann zur Bestimmung der Natur der prismatischen Versetzungsschleifen als Funktion des Parameters m benutzt werden. Es wird experimentell gezeigt, das in diesem Falle das Vorzeichen des Kontrasts eindeutig durch die relative Orientierung von g und b bestimmt wird und unabhangig von der Tiefe der Versetzung ist. Der Type der Versetzungsschleife kann aus dem Vorzeichen des Kontrasts in der positiven Richtung des Beugungsvektors bestimmt werden; fur eine Leerstellenschleife mussen die auseren Bander des Bogens hell, fur eine Zwischongitterplatzschleife — dunkel sein. Die besten Ergebnisse mit der empfohlenen Technik werden fur Stufenschleifen senkrecht zum Elektronenstrahl erhalten. Daruber hinaus kann die Natur der Schleifen auf geneigten Ebenen ebenfalls analysiert werden. Der kinematische Effekt in dunnen Kristallen bei betrachtlicher Abweichung von der exakten Bragglage kann zu Fehlern bei der Bestimmung der Schleifennatur fuhren.
