Mining machinery maintenance strategy based on the current dynamic condition of the equipment not only improves reliability, reduces repair and renovation costs, but also affects electricity costs. Due to the use of modern monitoring and diagnostic systems, as well as advanced control and supervision methods, it is possible to improve the efficiency of devices and thus reduce energy costs. Due to the high power of the devices, even a slight decrease in efficiency translates into significant financial resources. Taking into account the prices of electricity as well as ecological aspects, investments in modern solutions give specific financial and social savings. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
