The article features British novelist and a tireless social reformer Mary Ward, who supported the anti-suffrage movement. She was the founding president of the National League for Opposing Woman Suffrage which held a grand rally in London, England in February 1912. She claimed that feminine difference did not denote inferiority but women were intended to take on a different role in society.
