The article discusses high temperature mass spectroscopic analysis, performed to analyze the thermodynamics of gaseous strontium silicates. It also outlines the impact of difference in the acid-base properties of the oxides forming the salt on the thermal stability of salt in vapor. The relationship between the standard enthalpies of atomization of the salts and the enthalpies of atomization of the anion forming oxides is derived.
