Abstract

The article focuses on the three concepts of interest to government managers for a sustainable development in the U.S., which include unified communications, the Electronic Product Environment Assessment Tool (EPEAT) and cloud computing. It notes on the commitment of the Federal Office Systems Exposition (FOSE) to improve public management, which is now produced by an entity as the 1105 Government Information Group that propagates information technology, news and information through various media including, Federal Computer Week and Washington Technology. Moreover, it adds that the three concepts contribute to sustain the government in different ways while promoting efficiency and environmental protection.
