Abstract

The article presents an experiment which created a simple apparatus that can be used to determine the Lorentz force on a current-carrying conductor in a magnetic field. It says that the apparatus does not require the use of a balance, which is needed in determination of the Lorentz force. It states that the apparatus uses gravitational forces and can be modified to fit the needs of the students.
