This shell is made of brass. There are flowers and leaves featured on the main body of the shell, with the names "NORMA" and "DADY" written on a diagonal, as well as the year "1918" between the names. The tip of the fuse of the projectile is engraved with "L160 17."

The central feature of both cups are two words written in an undetermined language, and what appear to be producer initials underneath. Napkin ring is made of a cylindrical section of metal, likely brass, and has a circular appliqué affixed to one side bearing the inscription "GOTT MIT UNS" around its edge. At the bottom of the appliqué is a wreath, possibly a laurel wreath, with leaves and a bow in the middle. In the center is an Iron Cross, with a royal crown symbol at the top, "W" inscribed in the middle, and "1914" inscribed at the bottom. It is unclear whether this napkin ring was made from an artillery shell; if that was the case, it was likely a 50 mm shell.

Candle holder is made from three rifle shells, along with their projectiles, soldered together. The middle shell has been soldered to a circular base, decorated with abstract leaf patterns. The end of each shell has been cut off diagonally to accommodate a small candle, and their size suggests that they are .303-inch caliber shells. Affixed to the middle shell is an appliqué similar to the Great Seal of the United States, bearing an eagle clutching arrows in its right talon. There is what appears to be a scroll in the foreground, with the inscription "E PLUR", likely the partially obscured phrase "E PLURIBUS UNUM" which appears on the U.S. Seal. There also appear to be leaves in the background.

Candle holder is made from three rifle shells along with their projectiles, soldered together. The projectile of the middle shell has been soldered to a circular base, while the projectiles of the two other shells have been bent outward. The base is decorated with an overlapping leaf pattern. The end of each bullet shell has been cut off to accommodate a small candle, and their size suggests that they are .303-inch caliber shells. Affixed to the body of the left shell is an image of the royal coat of arms of the United Kingdom. This consists of: a royal crown above a shield divided into quarters, with a scroll below. Flanking the shield on the left is a lion, and on the right is a unicorn. Affixed to the body of the middle shell is a cross with arms of equal length, also known as a Greek cross, and on it a bird, possibly an eagle, clutching something in its talons, stars, and leaves. Affixed to the body of the right shell is an image of a royal crown.

This base is decorated with the Great Seal of the United States, which includes: an eagle wearing the U.S. coat of arms, clutching arrows in its left talon, an olive branch in its right, and a scroll in its beak, all below a sun crest. The end of each shell has been cut off to accommodate a small candle, and their size suggests that they are .303-inch caliber shells. Affixed to the center shell is an Iron Cross appliqué overlaying a wreath of leaves and berries stretching across all three shells. There is a small metal link attached to the Iron Cross, suggesting that the candle holder may have been hung on a hook or otherwise attached to something else. The shells themselves have been pebbled, creating abstract flower shapes. The edge of each shell also has a thin border.

Below the shield is a small flower, and a curved shape with leaves meant to be a wreath with another "VERDUN" inscription and stars. Both the crest and image of Jesus have been soldered to the cross.

Jar is made of polished brass, and composed of two separate artillery shell sections, one functioning as the lid. The top of the lid has been soldered on and decorated with a hatched striped pattern, while a bullet projectile has been affixed to the center to act as a handle. The body of the jar has been decorated with hatched and engraved flower and leaf patterns. There is also an image that appears to be a shield. The lid fits on snugly due to alterations made in the inner surfaces of the lid and body where they meet.

Stand is made of metal, and its base is composed of three bullets soldered together. Due to their size, appearance, and markings, these are likely 8 mm Lebel rifle cartridges, used and manufactured by the French in World War I. The bullets are in turn soldered to a circular base, with a decorative border and leaf-shaped patterns, supporting a cylindrical stand upon which a spherical orb sites. Perched on the orb is an eagle, looking off to the side. The intended function of the stand is unclear; it may be a paperweight or centerpiece.
