This article aims to examine the themes produced by students in the research paper projects of the Pedagogy course, in Distance Education modality. This research is qualitative, of documentary character. The results of the analysis indicate that students prefer to frequent themes from academic literature (ludic). It was also noticed the insufficiency or absence of the theoretical framework in the projects. The methodology used by the students was, primarily, those of bibliographic and documentary nature. Regarding the sources, it was found difficulties in defining the search websites. During the writing of the project, students used non-scientific websites, such as blogs, portals and / or news reports. The analysis of the writing of the works evidenced difficulties of the students in relation to writing texts. It concludes the importance of the professor advisor, since the very beginning of the elaboration of research projects, once it is up to the professors to instrumentalize the students for the construction of cohesive and consistent theoretical and methodological references. The demanding promotion of university professors is being taken advantage of by international publishers to develop a fast business, that is framed in supposedly fraudulent activities of apparently scientific magazines, but without impact indexes that some experts already qualify as "epidemic" (García-Puente, 2019) and "plague" (Silva, 2016). This research uses the mystery client technique (Morena, 2013) to respond to an intentional sample of call for papers (CFP) submitted to researchers between January and April 2020, with a previously published article, that was intentionally altered to appear to be a scientific paper, but which violates the guidelines of originality and rigor: the order of the paragraphs is altered and translated into English with DeepL, without subsequent monitoring. During the period, 98 PICs were received and 38 submissions were made. The results are eloquent: none has been rejected, and within an average of 6 days 17 publication acceptances are confirmed. In all cases, payment is requested in advance. The article allows us to identify the profile of the journals, their recruitment strategies, the use of claims of: indexing, ethical standards and peer review and the naming strategies to simulate international prestige. This paper is the product of doctoral research and aims to introduce the discussion and analysis of Ubuntu and traditional African philosophy as a contribution to thinking about the fragmentation of democracy in Latin America, giving way to the role that African movements and organizations have in assuming a political and ethical struggle to build a relational democracy as a necessary proposal to the crisis of liberal democracy. The methodology consists of a bibliographic review of literature and intellectuals from the social sciences and African thought to highlight a trend that is not only framed in the questioning of the democratic model in force in Latin America, but also provides some clues for the construction of a community society project in the region, based on relational ontology. It concludes that, in the crisis of the Western political model, the struggles of Afro-descendant movements must transcend the logic of strengthening liberal democracy, to propose the ethical path of Ubuntu as a route to deconstruct the political and societal structures in place, promoting a message of humanity. The scientific fraud, as any other deceptive conducts, implicates deliberate dishonesty outside the ethics norms. Corrupt scientifics invent data, experiments, results or fabricate misinterpretations to their information. But, the most common misconduct is the inappropriate assigned coauthor- ship, perpetrated in order to maximize the number of publications, due to personal ambition, vanity, desire of reconnaissance or pursuit economical compensation. However, independently of the desire of that misconduct, always the moral capacity to distinguish the true is lost. In this point, is important to remark that honesty is an absolute term, which do not admits intermediate degrees. The rules to assign the authorship are well establish, as an active participation in generation of new scientific information, writing or intellectually reviewing the manuscript and approving the last version for publication. Thus, is important to point out some of the actions that not justified coauthor- ship, such as: Technical edition of a manuscript, including translation to other idiom, bibliographic research, patients enrolling, routine analysis or applications of statistical tests, acquisitions of funds or its administration, which are sometimes the only task of some directors of research projects; also, in some cases the authorship of a thesis tutor is questioned. The above arguments frequently are used for some fraudulent persons to legitimate their sign in a paper; and their analysis confirm, that not all the members of a research team could be coauthors of all the publications generated from that group. The best way to avoid misconducts is to rule by the ethical principles learn since the school, and get conscience that any deceptive action is a fraud and corrodes any human activity, including science.
