Abstract

The article reports on the results of research which was conducted in an effort to investigate the effects different durations of resistance training had on body composition and power in 31 preadolescent children who were overweight or obese. Researchers found that the resistance training led to improvements in body composition and power and that greater improvements were seen with longer duration training programs.
