This research's aim to know demonetisation effect before, during and after event with interval period of two months in the IT sectors of NSE India. The secondary data are used in the analysis. The companies are chosen based on the top and all data available with the variable's chosen for this study. Descriptive, Correlation Fixed random model and Hausmen techniques are used to find out what factors affect IT shares. The closing price (CP) of the IT shares are used as independent variable, earnings per share (EPS), return on asset (ROA) earnings retention ratio (ERR), Dividend pay-out ratio (DPR), asset turnover ratio (ATR) and book value are considered as the independent variables. Findings from result are BV and ROA significance impact towards share price in during demonetisation. BV, ROA, EPS, and ATR are significance impact after the demonetisation. Hence it is proved the demonetisation had significant impact towards various financial ratios performance towards share's price and towards share price changes of IT industry. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
