This article examines the effects of oral potassium phosphate supplements on perceived exertion and physiological indicators in trained runners during graded treadmill tests. Findings indicate that there were no significant physiological differences between groups, but subjects who took oral supplements reported lower levels of perceived exertion than control subjects.

This study investigates the relationship between choline supplementation and subsequent performance on a four-hour strenuous exercise task. Results indicate that choline supplementation increased plasma choline levels, but did not result in significant differences in physical performance or endurance.

This article compares the exercise performance of women who ate a meal either three or six hours before a treadmill test. Results indicate that women who followed the three-hour prefeeding regimen had increased performance and better endurance when compared to those who ate six hours before exercising.
