The article focuses on the preliminary report and the context regarding the discovery of inscriptions from Tumulus MM in Gordion, Turkey in 2007. It says that the excavation of Tumulus MM by then director Rodney S. Young of Gordion project in 1957, found out that the tomb chamber is sealed with roof beams and was likely occupied by the father of King Midas. Elizabeth Simpson notes that the tomb chamber was deposited with utensils used from the funeral banquet including the bronze bowls that have inscribed names called ATA, UZD, SI↑IDOSAKOR. It mentions that Phyrigian grafitti on the setting of the roof beam of tomb chamber has shown the inscribed Phrygian names called NANA, MUKSOS, SI↑IDOS, and URUNIS based from the further investigations in 2008.
