- Abstract
Since the Holy Quran is based on revelation, every word contains important principles for humans and humanity. Because of this feature of the Quran, it requires serious consideration, thought and comprehension of every verse and word. The twentieth verse of the Surah Hadîd conveys what the worldly life consists of through some analogies. In our study, we tried to address these elements of analogy in the context of the integrity of the Quran. On this occasion, it is better understood how important it is to examine each word of the Quran. We tried to convey how the elements of analogy in the verse surround people. We tried to evaluate, through examples, how the verse states that worldly life consists of games, entertainment, adornment, boasting, and the race to have many possessions and many children, and how it has become ingrained in people's lives in modern times. The verse concretely conveys how those who live independently of Allah and the divine truths revealed by Him spend their life capital for the sake of simple and worthless things. In other words, it clearly reveals how treating worldly life as the afterlife deceives people. In addition, the importance of persistently repeating concepts such as contemplation, meditation, evaluation and deliberation in the Quran is better understood. While the verse informs about the fate of those who are deceived by the worldly life, it also informs that the real truth that needs to be achieved and strived for is Allah's consent and His satisfaction. Ultimately, it informs us that a life spent outside of God's will is a wasted life. Likewise, the verse ends with a warning to people who will come to the end of time not to be deceived by the charms and ornaments of the world. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
