Acoustic and electric responses of near-surface sedimentary rocks are considered. They were recorded during the deformations by seismic waves from six earthquakes with magnitude Mw = 6.6-7.7 at the distances of 131-728 km from epicenters in Kamchatka region. Behavior of both responses during soil displacement and displacement velocity during wave propagation are un-der the analysis. The dependence of intensity and character of the responses manifestation on earthquake magnitude and the distance to its source had been discovered by the authors earlier and is confirmed in the work. It was discov-ered that the occurrence of acoustic response in kilohertz range correlates well with the behavior of soil displacement velocity vector and its spectrum.

Simultaneous atomspheric-lithospheric acoustic observations have been carried out during autumn-spring periods of 2017-2019 in Kamchatka at “Karymshina” observation site located in the zone of different-rank tectonic faults. A laser strainmeter-interferometer, a seismoacoustic receiver and a microbarometer were installed to realize the observations. It was detected that during deformation disturbances, geoacoustic signals are generated in rocks with relative deformations of 10-5 – 10-7 at the place of recording. These signals pass the Earth-atmosphere boundary and are recorded in the air by the ground surface.

Simultaneous monitoring of signals recorded by a three-component piezoceramic seismic receiver and by a laser strainmeter-interferometer have been carried out in Kamchatka since 2016. Cases of simultaneous registration of low-frequency geoacoustic and deformation signals were detected.

The example of linguistic processing of acoustic signals of a seismic event would be an information approach to the processing of non-stationary signals. The method for converting an acoustic signal into an information message is described by identifying repetitive self-similar patterns. The definitions of the event selection indicators in the symbolic recording of the acoustic signal are given. The results of processing an acoustic signal by a computer program realizing the processing of linguistic data are shown. Advantages and disadvantages of using software algorithms are indicated.

The paper presents the statistics of occurrence of anomalous disturbances in high-frequency geoacoustic emission of near surface sedimentary rocks and in atmosphric electric field by the ground surface before earthquakes. Long-term continuous series of geoacoustic emission measurements in 2003-2012 at “Mikizha” observation site and atmospheric electric field data obtained within summer-autumn period in 2006-2008 at “Mikizha” site and in 2009-2012 at “Karymshina” observation site were used for the analysis. Anomalous disturbances of the emission and of the field were compared with the earthquake catalogue of Kamchatka Branch of Geophysical Service RAS.
