The analysis of the age structure of population of Goc Mountain and its foothill is elaborated in the paper. Data in the paper refer to the second half of 20th century and to the beginning of the 21st century. There are many tasks of the paper. The first task is to represent and to compare the parameters of age structure of Goc and his foothill. The task of this paper is to present the parameters of the age structure of Goc Mountain and its foothill. Then, comparing them to identify and interpret trends in their movements. The paper shows the spatial distribution of the index of aging by cadastral municipalities. Factors that have influenced it are highlighted. Special attention is given to problems, which appear as a consequence of aging of population. Paper will contribute to enriching the knowledge about population and settlements of the Goc Mountain and the West Morava valley. .

Current travels aiming at relaxation, entertainment and meeting other cultures and customs are becoming ever-demanding compared to travels in the near and distant past. Tourist offer has entered the phase when accommodation, food, favorable climate, even cultural and historical sights do not seem to be crucial factors which influence the decision of a contemporary man to visit the destination, which has been mainly achieved by the influence of mass media, fast information transfer as well as easy access to almost all world's tourist destinations. Cultural tourism has been motivated by the need of visiting places of attractive cultural and artistic content in order to meet, understand and respect the variety of local and regional cultures.

Bad quality of infrastructure and slow economic development, which is damaged by emigration, made bad influence on the number of inhabitants of the Goc Mountain. According depopulation, population density was reduced too. Tendencies in the changes of number of households and tendencies in the changes of number of population are different. Disappearing of patriarchal family is the evident on the Goc Mountain. Verification of that fact is in the decreasing in number of members in the households. Regional road (R-222) was built in 1939. It was set up through Stanisinci. Because of that, life quality in village Stanisinci was better than Goc. It was the good solution for slowdown of emigration and decreasing of population number in the second half of XX century. Precondition for development promotion of the Goc Mountain is in work on infrastructure quality. Municipality of Vrnjacka Banja plans to use tourism industry for revitalization of settlements on the Goc Mountain.

A series of data indicates characteristic traits of contracting marriages or nuptiality, based on which a situation in the village of Lokve can be reported as well as similarities and differences in relation to other settlements in Banat. In the first part of the paper an analysis of global indicators of Lokve nuptiality is made. The average age of men and women at the time of contracting their first marriage is analyzed and their place within HEINAL's typology of nuptiality has been set. The paper tries to define the position of this settlement within the widely accepted classification of nuptiality into the European and non-European model and indicates a great connection between demographic development of these areas and European demographic development, which emphasizes affiliation to the same cultural sphere. In addition to analysis of the first marriage average age, average age at the time of contracting higher order marriages has been analysed too, as well as relation between the first order marriages and higher order marriages, fluctuation of annual number of marriages, nuptiality rates, monthly fluctuation of number of marriages, phenomenon of isonomy and geographical origin of spouses.

Analysis of movement of Goc and podgorina population in the second half of XX and on the begging of XXI century is elaborated in the paper. Parameters of natural and mechanical movement of population have showed that population number of Goc and podgorina increase because of mechanical movement. In the period between two last censuses, the greater part of immigrants has arrived. Refugees and outcast population from Ex-Yugoslav Republics represents smaller part of immigrants. Greater part of immigrants belongs to population from others municipalities of Republic of Serbia, especially to population from Kosovo and from municipalities of Raska region. According to the results of exploration, there are many differences in the movements of population between twenty six settlements of Goc and podgorina. As consequences of that, among other, there are some geographic factors. Among geographic factors, traffic-geographic position and relief are relieved. Importance of the paper is that it enriches the knowledge about West Morava valley and Goc, which is northernmost mountain of Kopaonik mountain system.

Goč Mountain and its foothill lie in the middle of Serbia, in the central part of West Morava Valley. It covers only 402.1 km2 and it extends between 170 and 1127 meters above sea level. Goč and its foothill have 26 settlements. Twenty-one settlements are between 180 and 350 meters above sea level. Great differences of disposition of population are evident on that area. Particular attention was given on the disposition of the population in the period between the end of the Second World War and the last census. In that period, the population increased for 40.9%. Different factors influenced the disposition of the population such as geographic, socio-historical economic, etc. According to the census 2002, average disposition of the population on the territory of Goc and its foothill increased 1.7 times in comparison to the census 1948. It is five inhabitants per square kilometer more than average value of Republic of Serbia. Geographic factors dominated at the beginning of the period. In the middle of the period, according to the census 1971, economic factors made strong influences on the disposition of the population. In the last twenty years, the most important factors for the disposition of the population are demographic ones. The disposition of agricultural population is inversed when compared with the general disposition of the population. In 1948 about 1/5 of the population lived in towns. However, in 2002 the share increased on almost 1/3. Average population also increased from 944 (1948) to 1597 (2002) inhabitants per settlement.

Due to difficult economic and religious circumstances in 17th century numerous serf families from Slovakia abandoned their homes and moved to southern parts of the former Hungarian empire. A larger portion of the migration flow arrived to the south-eastern Pannonic plain and to Vojvodina. The largest colonies of the Slovaks were settled in Banat, smaller ones in Bačka, while the Slovak colonies in Srem were the result of internal migrations from Bačka. By the 1960s, there was an increase in the Slovak population, then followed by the decrease, the most intensive in the last decade of the 20th century. The fluctuation in population number had repercussions in basic features of nuptiality in settlements where the Slovaks were majority, resulting in decrease in the number of nuptials and nuptiality rate.

Population ageing is very spread as in Serbia, so in Europe. Interests of Demographers have not often been occupying with age structure of Gypsies in Vojvodina. Therefore, explorations are focused on it. Explorations are shown that the Gypsy population is the youngest on the territory of Vojvodina Province, but indicates of ageing are growing slowly. Changes in age structure are influenced by demographic transition. Gypsies represents atypical age patterns in Vojvodina population. Attendance of tendencies in age structure of Gypsies is very important. Analysis and comparison of Gypsies according to Censuses are elaborated in this paper. With statistic methods and mathematics proceeding are compared different parameters of the level of ageing (e.g. middle age, index of ageing etc). Results might used in function of Gypsiology.
