Kick off the holiday season (yes, it’s already beginning) with paper treats designed by San Francisco artist Cat Seto, exclusively for Chronicle Books. Seto riffs off of her beloved Ferme à Papier line and Russian Hill shop, with a collection of “hipster French country chic” notecards, gift labels and gilded-edge journals. Chronicle Books (which is not affiliated with The Chronicle) “wanted to do something ‘joie du jour’ based off of our mission statement, which is enjoying the everyday — the little joys,” says Seto, who hand-illustrated every item in the collection, down to the box patterns. “Ferme is a really niche, indie design studio, so to have this collaboration and get out there, I’m really excited about that.” Our favorite: the “luxe” keepsake box of over 100 adhesive labels. “There’s even one for a recipe if you’re cooking for the holidays and want to sticker something as ‘made by,’” says Seto.
