In this paper we derive some subordination and superordination results for certain p-valent analytic functions in the open unit disc, which are acted upon by a class of a linear operator. Some of our results improve and generalize previously known results.

In this paper we obtain the necessary and sufficient conditions for generalized Bessel functions of the first kind zup(z) to be in the classes S(b, λ, β) and R(b, λ, β) of analytic functions with complex order and also give the necessary and sufficient conditions for z(2 - up(z)) to be in the classes TS(b, λ, β) and TR(b, λ, β). Furthermore, we give the necessary and sufficient conditions for J(k, c) to be in the class TR(b, λ, β) provided that the function f is in the class Rτ(A, B). Finally, we give conditions for the integral operator G(k, c, z) = ... (2 - up(t))dt to be in the class TR(b, λ, β). Several corollaries and consequences of the main results are also obtained. In this paper, we find the necessary and sufficient conditions and inclusion relations for normalized Mittag-Leffler-type Poisson distribution series to be in the class in the class Τ (λ, μ) of analytic functions with negative coefficients defined in the open unit disk. Further, we consider an integral operator related to Mittag-Leffler-type Poisson distribution series. Several corollaries and consequences of the main results are also considered. In this paper we investigate a family of linear operator defined on the space of p-valent meromorphic functions. By making use of this linear operator, we introduce and investigate several new subclasses of p-valent starlike, p-valent convex, p-valent close-to-convex and p-valent quasi-convex meromorphic functions. The first class is normalized by requiring that the functions satisfy f′(z) = z0 (0 < z0 < 1) and in the second class the functions satisfy f′(z) = 1 (0 < z0 < 1). In this paper we obtain coefficient estimates, distortion theorems, closure theorems and radius of convexity of order p(α ≤ p < 1) for the classes S*i (n, λ, A, B) (i = 1, 2). Further we determine a necessary and sufficient condition that a subset X of the real interval (0, 1) should satisfy the property that ∪z, ∈ X S*1(n, λ, A, B, zi) form a convex family.
